I had made a decision and now nothing and no one could stop me.
I took my phone and hit the call button after taking a deep breath.
The phone kept ringing.
I wanted the call to be answered yet secretly wished him to not receive the call.
There! I was being selfish again...

On seeing that the call was not answered even after 10 rings, I decided to disconnect.
'Kismat shayad aaj mujhpe meherban hai' I thought.
But the very next moment, I had to think the contrary as I heard him speak.
I had not expected him to recognise me as I had not given him my contact info to him last time we met.
I was surprised when he said "Hello RKB" on receiving the call.
He was wanting to call me he said.
He didn't because I was getting married he revealed.
Was he tracking down my info on Google?
That is probably how he got to know my number.
But why? I asked him that.
I was surprised rather shocked to know that he was here in Delhi looking for Ishita.
He was already here in Delhi, one day or the other he would track down Ishita.
But then it would be too late.
Its good that I called him now.
I would never want Ishita to regret over her decision if she had chosen to stay with me in Ajnabi's absence.
But why did Ajnabi want to call me now?
Did he find out that I am the one marrying Ishita?
Fortunately that was not why he called me.
He thought I was an influential person and could help him find her.
However lame that might sound, he had actually called the right person.
Poor guy had no clue that his Anamika now belonged to me.
She might not belong to me anymore but still at present she was mine.

And for that I needed to know a few answers which would tell how important she was for him.
I would have asked him some more questions but I had to stop the interrogation when he asked me why I was asking him all that.
He must have wondered why I was interrogating him as if she belonged to me and I was going to give her hands in his.
Of course she belonged to me.
She was still mine and I could exercise my right on her unless...correction...until I let her go.
Overwhelmed by the very thoughts I had goofed up by emphasising on the wrong word when revealing to him that Anamika was found.
I should have stressed on milgayi hai instead of mujhe I know but kya karun? Dil hai ke manta nahi.
He was probably more than elated to know that Anamika is found.
I had picked him up from his location.
I had wanted this hour to be longer.
My heart started to bleed with every passing minute.
The person sitting next to me was probably the happiest person on the earth right now.
And the person driving him to his destination was the saddest person on the earth right now.
'Kismat' I laughed at the cruel joke fate was playing with me.
I stepped out to call her.
Surprisingly she called me at that very moment.
I was worried when she would not speak.
This was probably the last time I would be talking to her.
This was probably the last minute I could say she belonged to me.
She finally spoke and I was relieved.
Her words were broken, she sounded glum.
She probably hates me after knowing the truth.
She probably does not even want to talk to me after reading my book.
She would probably not hate me anymore...
After all I was giving her up for the one she loves...
I was glad she agreed to come down.
The moment I saw her my lips curved into a smile.
That's the effect she had on me.
She had looked upset initially but then suddenly she had a smile on her face and a different kind of glow, she was literally galloping now.
Had she seen Ajnabi already?
Of course she must have!
She brings a smile on my face but he brings a smile on hers.
I wish I was the reason for her smile.
I snapped out of my thoughts with the opening of the passenger door.
I stood silently watching him run towards her.
With every step he took I felt her hand slipping from mine.
He had her in his arms and I had left her hand for him.
"I Love You Anamika" he said.
"I Love You too"
Did she just say that!?
No...she didn't say yet...
I said that silently...
