In my honest and very cheap ( 😆 ) opinion, I think the mods try very hard to be fair and balanced as well.
But there is definitely the old girls network which is highly biased toward JB (I don't have issues with this, this is how it rolls, I am one of them also), and then there are very vocally fanatical JW fans (No offense, the word 'fanatical' strictly represents the intensity of the fanhood toward the actor/character) - then you add a dose of equally fanatical AD fans to the mix, there is bound to be combustion.
Yes, sometimes it seems these new kids on the block get unfair treatment and sometimes the mods bend over backward to get them accommodated - mods are trying pretty hard...They want more people to come to the forum and voice their opinions, we can't be squatters forever and unwelcome to the newcomers, do we? 👏 👏
To be quite honest, I feel the weight is more on the JB side, more people, more entrenchment because of the longevity of the characters, more JW fans - and lot of us don't want the JB romance to break apart because of AD, so we tend to criticize AD more than we should - I personally didn't mind him in the show, I thought he was over the top character (Just like Thakral is in Kyonki) - but people bashed him nevertheless because of his threat to JB, more than anything else, more than hatred toward the character/acting or the actor himself.
The mods were pretty fair through out, they closed the anti AD posts just like they closed the anti JB posts and anti JW posts.
I think healthy debates and discussions are always facilitated, they don't just happen, when there is no modicum of respect to other people's wishes, needs and leanings, there is bound to be some negative posts...
Heck, it (the negative campaigning) even happens in the presidential elections by our esteemed candidates, so who are we but minor players?? 😉 😉
So lets take it with a pinch of salt and give a break to the mods...
