Mom-to-be Parineeti Chopra marks Karwa Chauth with personalised jutti and husband Raghav Chadha

Actor Parineeti Chopra, who is expecting her first child, celebrated Karwa Chauth with husband Raghav Chadha, keeping traditions alive. The actress shared a heartfelt post capturing her participation in the moon-viewing ritual, a key part of the festival.

In the first picture, Parineeti was seen standing in front of Raghav with the sieve (channi) used for the ritual. A diya was placed on it as she glimpsed Raghav’s face through the channi and smiled. Raghav, holding the thali, returned her smile, capturing the intimate moment. Another picture showed the couple sharing a candid, relaxed moment together.

Parineeti also showcased a special jutti designed for the occasion. The footwear featured their initials — P and R, and their wedding date, 24.09.2023. The jutti added a personalised touch to the traditional celebration and was highlighted in the last picture of her post.

In her caption, she wrote, “My chaand - my love🌛🥰 Happy Karwachauth!” expressing warmth and love for her husband.

Parineeti’s post reflected both her adherence to these customs and her personal joy as she shared this special moment with Raghav. The carefully captured images of rituals, candid moments, and the personalised jutti highlighted the blend of tradition and personal significance that the festival holds for the couple.

During a chat on Parineeti’s YouTube channel, Raghav asked her what she had learned about love after marriage. Blushing, Parineeti shared that everything she had learnt about love came from him. She described Raghav as simple and emotionally balanced, while she saw herself as more volatile, admitting that she often erupts and struggles with patience. She explained that after marriage, she had realised that love involves patience, respect, and putting others before oneself. She said Raghav had a calming influence on her without ever lecturing, and seeing his patience made her reflect on her own actions, motivating her to become a better person. Raghav responded by calling her words very sweet.

The conversation then turned lighthearted when he asked who was more romantic. Parineeti waited for his answer, and Raghav claimed it was him, which made her laugh. She added playfully that his style of romance was what she called “aggressive care,” explaining that he takes care of her while scolding her at the same time.
