Does IF Forums Really Have Free Speech? - Page 10

I agree completely. For eg, if any member speaks out that PD does not act properly, that post is filled with 'You are wrong' and soem members even goes to the extent of being rude to the member. I thought all members were allowed to speak out whatever is there in their mind. 😕 And if somebody feels PD's acting is not good enough, and posts abt it, whts wrong in that...and to top it all, the topic gets closed within minutes. 😕
Why isn't actor bashing allowed here? Actors too have a big part in the show, and if any member points out some flaw with the actor, that topic too is immediately closed. I don't understand, is it because some of the actors are members of the forum? If yes, if members stick to just praising the actors, wouldn't it allow them go on with the faults?I'm sure actors too would like to knwo what the audience truthfully thinks abt them.

As to the updaters not being regular, I don't agree at all! I don't have Zee TV at home, and when I come online at 10, the update is usually ready, and I have not had the chance to complain at all abt the updae ot being ready, nor do I think I'll ever have to complain! 😛 I've updated twice last year, and I know how tough it is!

Guys one suggestion: there is another topic to discuss updaters and
updates. If we keep discussions about that to that topic then here we
can discuss the issue that Megs brought up in her post. 😊

We understand that no actors bashing and quite frankly im all up for it. but we are talking about character bashing. i mean what harm is there when you bash a character? afterr all it is just a character as long as it stays in that limit.
but can't we even express how we feel about certain character? or certain actor like we can't even say that PD or RK didn't do a good job in portraying certain emotions or things like those? 😕
I'm confused, either everyone here knows that a character is different from actor or some people like to think that the character is the actor.
So why can't we bash a character? after all even the actor who plays a character likes to bash them so why can't the audience who watch it?

I think that post was ok but comments posted like jj would not be but in fairness to megs ok the whole post should not have been closed but i do think this forum is not fair anyone who does not like the lead jodi get told why they watch the show ? or if they like other characters immature etc just because they got negative traits hence people go else where i use to post loads before but since ad entered all fights etc cut down alot because i cannot be bothered anymore..at the end of the day everyones views should be respected people dont watch the show always for two people so everyone should be allowed to say what they want without snide remarks or comments on actors then mods having to lock it like they did here whereever ad is mentioned rr tends to be for no apparent reason 😕

nina this is not the whole thing we are talking about here.

we are talking about how the freedom of speech lately has become loose and we have to think twice before posting anything now a days.

nobody is stopping you from expressing your views but it seemed when that post was closed down we were taken that right of freedom of speech away from here.

right now it seems lately the majority are being targeted for the happenings on the forum and KS and that post was the proof for it.

Ok, first of all I don't know what the big deal is about getting a topic closed. I toh didn't read it, coz i was not interested and still am not, but that doesn't mean ke i would fight for it being closed. I mean this topic is so not right, i mean seriously...what are u talking about- not having a freedom of speech at IF? Come on, i am the walking, talking, and what not example of freedom of speech on IF 😉 I know u guys know that too...it's just whining that get's people in trouble...and their topics. 😆
There was RR and even RK bashing going around, but thanks to RR fans like myself😉 it has stopped, or atleast i think...if it wasn't for me and my ADian gang...the KS forum would have been an all u can bash AD buffet...coz there is freedom of speech on this forum. You have many examples of it in the JB despos group as well.
Why play victim by questioning whether IF has freedom of speech or not?
I have said whatever came to my mind and will continue to do so on IF coz that's how IF makes me feel...it is a free forum...i can say or do whatever i want on here, just follow some guidelines...bas hogaya...what was the point of this topic?
Why always target the mods and the dev team?
We ADians have been a minority on this forum...and will continue to be that way...but even don't have a problem, then why is the Majority complaining?
AD topics gets closed too...
I don't know what is the problem now especially when JB are back together...give the mods a break seriously.
Regarding the updaters...they also have a life beyond KS., fortunately 😆 Things happen...and even if the wonderful updaters are not able to update there are other nice members who give a small update...and try to make things better.
Be thankful that u get something at least.

but yea..mods are not biased and updaters rock!
IF rocks...freedom of speech is what IF is all about!!
