Alright...I am posting on this forum after 4 days...been a spectator to this entusiasm or been to busy...

I read Rooj's reply on the last page and thus came finding where the origin was.

Shiya one thing...and I am sorry mods for being harsh here, but I manage the forum updates now-a-days and believe you me I do them thrice a week and they are up latest by 10pm. Other than me Sangs does it whenever her schedule permits and this has been dealt with and a consensus reached between us. I would love for you to point out one day since the past so many months where you havent got an update!

I would have kept quite on this whole post and everything else but this directly concerns me. You'll dont understand that we have lives other than the forum too but still we write the update and post it. Do you seriously think its an easy task that we see the episode and simultaneously translate it into english and post it? Do you know how we deal with our family and other commitments just cos we need to give ungrateful people like you updates?

And as for your point of someone elses update not becoming a sticky it is because 99% of the time the regular updaters update and they have taken on their job. It is unfair to the updater if they have been told to do the update and then its not made a sticky. If someone wants to volunteer to do them please come forward cos handling them myself does get a bit to much.

And the last thing if updating depended on our 'moods' you wouldnt get updates 50% of the time. We also have bad days at work and college, we also have other committments,there are episodes we dont necessarily like but yet we update. So no madam it DOESNOT depend on our moods!

If you want to be this ungrateful to all the past updaters or to Sangita, Smitra or me, then please take over the charge from us and update!

There is some misundersandings I would like to clear.

I live in Saudi and get to watch the serials after 10 days the real one is aired in India.Though I haven't Thanked regularly for the updates but I do read the updates regularly.

In the post you read I was actually refering to the phase btw May-June when there used to be no updates at all and b'coz of my exams I didn't use to watch TV at all.My only sourse left was IF where,at that point of time,no one used to update.

If you check my second post on Pg 11. I have mentioned that the person "X" does the update regularly.I reffered to that as you.The "Z" person is angelonearth who pain-stalkingly writes updates for us when you are busy.I didn't write the names there as it will look Bad.

I understand that writters have their own life and a lot of problems to deal with and from the bottom of my heart I have always respected the update writters as well as the FF writters.

It requires a great deal of effort to translate and write as well as check if something is missing and have always appriceated that.

I thank you for taking time and writting the update daily for us who doesn't get to watch the update.

Thank You Rooj and Thanks Shiya for understanding .. I love updating .. and tried fitting my daily chores and schedules to fit in the 11.30 am carebbean time zone in sync with the indian one so i could update live ..Unfortunately the friends who used to relay the show live are no longer interested in watching the show .

i was in india for six months and encountered several problems while live updating ..eg .Electricty going off , network stalling ..etc that delays updating ..neverthe less The updater will update a lil late . meanwhile there might be another member who might give a brief update ..which the mods include with the regular updaters .

The time u telling May-June, was when KS was down and no one, let me repeat, NO ONE was intrested even in watching, it literally was a pain!

But the days you guys didn't have full updates, there were always highlights given, no days were gone where no updates were given, atleast highlightes were

Yup there were episodes that i ddint eant to update coz it was too much for me to sit thru it and write it ..but i told myself ..as an updater People are counting on my update I may not want to watch but many are counting on me ..Its an unrewarded responsibility , we can choose to pull out of anytime .. we do it because we want to be of some assitance to the Forum in any which way we can ..

Again butting in here, but I think the updaters have done a very commendable job over the past few months! Considering that KS was totally potty, it is really amazing and surprising that there were members who actually sat through half an hour of the programme and more so, updated it!

Here I have to say, that I have been the luckiest in the matter of updates and I got to do them when KS was at its best! (Though I did have the extreme displeasure of updating the October 4th happenings and hereon 🤢 )

But even when I stopped doing them, it was never cause I did not want to do them anymore since I had lost interest in KS, it was logistically impossible for me to do it anymore, due to personal and other reasons!

Trust me, if I could, I would do the updates for even the worst episodes of KS, simply because it was because of KS and our Forum, that we all came to know one another so well!

Doing or not doing updates is surely a very personal choice, but as Shirley puts it, there are some members if not many, who do look forward to the update and atleast even for that minority, I think the updaters should take upon their voluntary job as some sort of obligation...and there really is no obligation to do something for your friends! 😊

But all in all, I think we should all be really grateful to the updaters who take out time and energy to do the episode updates, especially the ones who have been updating since the downfall of KS! Its easy to write, discuss or talk about a thing when its on an upswing but quite the opposite when you know that there would be no more than a handful of people to read what you write so painstakingly!

I don't even know how many updaters have been doing the job in the past few months, but they all have my heartfelt thanks for the same.👏

PS: I may be wrong here, but I don't think our forum has had any day, when KS was aired and it wasn't updated!
