Since a month, fans are trending the hashtag JusticeForYuMenglong, which is being shared by fans of Asian dramas all over the globe. Yu Menglong played Bai Zhen, the loving fourth brother in Eternal Love, a Chinese drama that was a global blockbuster. A couple of petitions are also up on platforms like Change.org and Avaaz.org to urge human rights activists to talk about his demise. It seems Chinese netizens are quietly boycotting everyone whose names is associated with this incident.
Fan Shiqi's concert cancelled
Actor and singer Fan Shiqi’s concert in Chengdu has been cancelled. It seems people decided to boycott it after rumours spread that he was one of those present in the apartment where Yu Menglong died. His agency said he is dealing with health issues. Fan Shiqi has a small role in Love’s Ambition as well, which stars Zhao Lusi. Fan Shiqi said it was sad that he was facing cyber-bullying when he is innocent. He said people do not understand its mental and emotional impact. Song Yiren's lawyer too issued a statement on trolling on Weibo. She is now in Japan.
Chinese actress Sun Lin's message
Chinese actress Sun Lin had apparently shared an eight character acrostic poem on Weibo. It was quickly deleted. Then, she put up another post asking what were people so afraid of? Her second post read: I am a poet; the photo isn't mine. Please don't comment. When Chinese people read the message vertically, the first characters seemed to form the message that Yu Menglong was wronged and justice is needed. This was reported by Vision Times.
Hackers investigate the case through furtive means
As per Vision Times, a hacker collective has got its hands on money laundering contracts worth 20 billion yuan linked to elites from CCP. An audio tape belonging to alleged killer of Yu Menglong is also there. The report suggests that it plans to translate the data in 56 languages and release it globally. Another independent channel Sound Of Hope TV said that Yu Menglong had a USB that has clues of money laundering operations of top entertainment companies. It also has details of arms trading. The data could shock the world. As per the channel, Yu Menglong also discussed this in one of his livestreams.
Yu Menglong Death: It seems Fan Shiqi's concert has been cancelled in Chengdu due to some reasons. Also, Vision Times has reported that a hacker collective has found out that the USB might have had information that deals with money-laundering and arms trading with ties to top brass of the ruling political party of China.
