Ranbir Kapoor held a bash last night to celebrate the launch of the trailer of the highly anticipated 'Bombay Velvet'. The trailer that was launched earlier in the morning created a lot of buzz and Ranbir fans were thrilled to finally catch the first look of Ranbir in this Anurag Kashyap directorial.

Present at the bash were Ranbir's close buddies - Aamir Khan, Kiran Rao, Aarti Shetty, Aditya Roy Kapoor, Arjun Kapoor and Abhishek Verman.

Ranbir's Bombay Velvet co-star Karan Johar too made it to the bash. Anushka who plays his lady love in the movie was missing as she had flown to Bangkok for an ad shoot.

We aren't sure if Ranbir's real-life sweetheart Katrina was present at the bash or no. It's highly likely that she was present given that her Fitoor co-star Aditya was also present at the bash.

Now people are throwing bashes even for things like trailer releases? 😕 Let the movie at least release and see how it fares on the first weekend.

Oh man if this was DP's film I would have loved to read all the comments on publicity stunts and attention-seeking and how fake and fame-hungry she is. 😆😆

This might have been just a regular party and not BV related. Remember when RK threw a party around Christmas and media called it a PK success party? 😕 Otherwise shouldn't more people be there? Like KJo and Anurag Kayshap?

Either that or this is an attempt to make the trailer seem more exciting than it actually was.
