This drama is better than those stares that were given yesterday. And those 'amrit' wale lines.

OK< as long as he does it without sobbing and weeping...

I read your tally of dead bodies in Shruthis wu, and tho it's strange, but I guess it's to do with the genre... More than the body count, it is the lack of any law-enforcers that is striking!

Unless they show that the evil has the run of the land, how will the need for the superhero to take charge arise ?.... ahem, this super-hero is not a law-enforcer, or is he? We dont know yet - he's just a little boy attached to Dadi's apron-strings whereas we expected him to be at Daddy's side instead, in the War for Amrit!

It does rate really high on goriness index, but again, for this genre - I guess it must be! Goriness we can deal with, yes!

Infact I find this rona dhona, parivar scenes more out of place here than all that... Sahi baat kaha, Arshi!

This rudra who has compeletly changed and is possessed by this 70s ki movies ka tradegy king - whose world is his ma and dharm is in Dadi ke charan and only ambition to be a good beta pati, pita etc etc is more horrifying than all the murder and mayhem ...While it was necessary for rudras journey to be shown, but itna dilution and diminution of rudra ? ...nahiii ... Rehem karo Babbal ji, itna atyachar mat karo hamare swath! Rudra was supposedly the strong fighter, who didn't cry as a 4 year old, didn't cry when Udiya baba died, now he is a leaky tap! Mr. Babbal are you reading this?

As for nanu's anger - he is very Mera khoon, Mera parivar types. He seems to have been the only one to show affection to Maya, and probably loved her in his own selfish way... He didnt convince me there, he looked like he was acting somehow...

That sort of complex love is more in keeping with this story than the weeping crying prem for a mother rudra never even questioned his dad and Dadi about! For me anyday Dadi shiva ka unstated underlying love than this! True. That love is gonna shock us one day...😉

I hope we are done with rudra's back story, prem kahani, beta no 1, etc etc. and get back to the real story

Agreed. This Rudra is so much an emotionally handicapped person. As his emotions control him, he is not in control of them,so much so that it is difficult to digest. Where has the observer in him gone? The control he had over himself as a kid is not seen at all. Waiting for the main story to unfold hopefully with a sensible Rudra.

All i will say is why cant we indians make a pure thriller the way foreigners do ? . With surfeit of maa-beta, beta-baap , potential saas-bahu etc emotions , it is becoming like any other cliched serial on Indian tv . Many a times i hv been told that mk is not your routine saas-bahu serials . But with so much of emotional melodrama , this mk at times becomes as irritating as a saaz-bahu serial . Kill me for this , but i did not like this episode at all . These lost and found emotional reunions now fail to strike a chord . It is draining on Gautam too . Apart from being physically strenous , he is being made to cry in almost every episode. Each to its own but I personally am done with these extreme rona-dhona type reunions . Thoda bahut is ok and every shade of emotion should be shown , but it starts getting on nerves when it becomes excessive

And more thing . I hv been wanting to do it for a long time . I just want to thank Arshi for such a democratic and open column . Here u are allowed to express your views freely , whether for or against . Something like this is very difficult on twiitter most of the time . Though i must say , utkarshji is open to even negative feedbacks as he took my negative tweet regarding the last episode very sportingly

Though Rudra might be a superhero, he is human. And identifies with pain and pleasure like everyone does. This is what they want to show. And nothing wrong.

But also agree with you.

The way they are showing it is a little monotonous and cliched. Like Rudra roaming in kumbh with a song in bg. And on Thursday, giving those stares to each and everyone(to see happiness on their faces) was boring and out-of-character

I think we will reach episode 60(mid-way) by the time he realizes his destiny. It might be exactly in epi-60. They seem to be planning that way. Hopefully we will see the 7th Garuda meanwhile. And dadi's turnaround too.

I dont think any true artist would mind critical feedback, and i am sure Utkarsh would not only take it sportingly, but also seriously!!

Actually, I feel its not so much the artists who are touchy about feedback, its their fans who feel upset when their favs are criticised.

Thanks for the complement, but this thread is belongs to everyone who wants to share and discuss the show, i am just the one who opens it everyday...

I have always maintained great things are accomplished from personal tragedies. So an eminent death to Maya can make Rudra realize things that are more important.
Yes Arjuna fought after listening to BG but when did he go all out. When did the equation change completely. When Abhi was killed brutally on 13th day with 7 warriors surrounding the 16 year old. Arjuna wouldn't have killed Karna the way if Abhi was not killed. He would have hesitated. Even when Krishna says send the arrow Arjun hesitates. Only when Krishna evoke Abhi that arrow is sent from Arjun's bow to a disarmed Karan. That's what a personal loss makes. Only a heavy personal loss can make you understand the cruel ways of the world and how your blissful silence has helped in maintaining the same.
Pandavas has to suffer severe personal losses to make them wake up. They were not challenging the ethos even after targeting multiple times by Kauravas. Even after Draupadi was dragged to court they took vanvaas and were willing to settle for 5 villages. War was started hesitatingly. The bloodshed itself happened because of the silence through years by many learnt people. It could have been stopped by Bhishma himself if he was not steadfast to his vow and looked at the reality. So when destiny cant take anything more it will strike and it will strike brutally to induce the pain to that one person who can actually make the change and is silent or not adhering to his destiny because of love or attachment.
Even Gandhiji had to thrown out of a train for him to realize the racism in South Africa and then back in India to take up the fight for the larger cause. Otherwise he was also a married man working as a lawyer and having a normal life like anyone else.
Raja Ram Mohan Roy witnessed the death of his young sis-in-law through Sati. The story tells his sis-in law's plea for help once she jumped into the pyre was unheard and people pushed the lady again and again into the pyre. This cruel treatment to the bhabi he loved was the reason this man fought tooth and nail to end the inhuman practice.
So his trust in Shiva for Maya need not taken as selfish. It will open up the path for his self realization. More than Rudra I would prefer to see Ganga stand by her husband first and believe in him.
