baaki sab sapne hote hain

apne toh apne hote hain

Movie : Apne, lyrics : Sameer

So we had madhur milan of the parivar.

ma beta, saas bahu 1 and 2 , dadi pota, dadi saas with her pautra vadhu

everyone happy to meet everyone

only Shiva was left out

looks like Ganga also has the same shikva with her pati parmeshvar

so, Shiva sabke hote hue bhi akela

No wonder he could deal with Solitary confinement so well

here it looks as if Dashrath has been sent to Vanvas while Ram is in ayodhya

chalo ji, ab rudra ka 100% domestication ho gaya hai

his parivar is his amrit ki boond

and what he wanted to get from this mahakumbh

he has!!!

And as of this moment

He is completely beyond Shiva's reach

Nanu does love Maya in his own way

Even though he is an evil cruel man,

still his own flesh and blood are so important to him

hmmm, theek theek sa episode

Acting, esp Ganga - great

dialogues - good

relationships - well etched

nanu ka menacing act - great as always

but - lacked nayapan, and lacked some punch!!!

Who is the mysterious killer?

Will this make Rudra realise that he also needs the real amrit

and not just the metaphorical one?

so will he go into his father's care to save his love?

Janane ke liye dekhte rahiye...

Thanks Arshi, missed your post yesterday.

Yeah okay episode tha and will continue to be dragged for some more time i think.

Ganga - very good acting indeed

Nanu's act was so chilling.

Totally agree on this part :

chalo ji, ab rudra ka 100% domestication ho gaya hai

his parivar is his amrit ki boond

and what he wanted to get from this mahakumbh

he has!!!

And as of this moment

He is completely beyond Shiva's reach

Soon he himself will go to Shiva asking him to help save Maya or Shiva will find this as an excuse for his quest of the Kund.

Mystery man is a Naga? ddhas ke chala gaya Maya ko.

Aparna,

Had a busy day yesterday, so couldn't post last night.

Ya, it could be a naga, but then who is controlling the nagas?

Arshi,
Missed your post yesterday. And thanks for writing this today.
I liked the episode a lot. The way it was presented was great.
GR was outstanding. He is showing the domestication of Rudra so well.
Emotional scenes are played out well in many shows. But each has their own signature. And this ma-beta milan did have its own signature and was very touching.
There were some repetitive scenes where Rudra looks at Punnu and later in the hospital where he looks at everyone. That was not done well.
Shruti Ulfat is great but she needs some more expressions. Can become the stereotyped mother of movies.
Rudra ke ghaav dheere dheere bhar rahe hain. par ek naya ghaav bhi aa raha hai.
All this domestication and complete transformation is only to get out of it looks like. He will now join hands with baba for Maya's life. But the fact that they showed all this to take him near his dad is kind of a let down.
That 'Amrit ki boond' line by Rudra was dialogue was blah... When dadi said it, it had a context. That of progeny taking the tradition forward and ancestors living in their children. When Rudra said it, it didn't carry weight.
I really liked how Rudra sees the tears falling down his mother's cheeks and stops them.
Waiting to see the equation between Shivanand and Ganga. What she thinks of him and all. Rudra telling his mom about the tanaav between dadi and baba was so natural.
Huh Dadi... Abhi abi ma-beta mile hain. 24 saal baad bahu aayi hai. Still does not waste a moment to taunt her son. The way Rudra and Ganga show dejection was so natural and realistic.
And Dadi watches this and changes the topic.
Is she a reluctant Garud? Or Maya or Ganga? Its definitely a female.
Head is shivanand.
Backbone is Rudra.
Shoulders are DM and Charles.
Lower back is KAtherine.
One leg is Thappadiya mai. The other one is ?

Santhi & Arshi

Thanks for putting out what was in my mind. It would indeed be disappointing if Rudra joins hands with Shiva for his personal gain here.

I didnt mean it was wrong for Rudra to join hands with Shiva for personal issues. I think that is perfectly fine. The trigger for something big is often from something personal.
The identification withe bigger cause comes later.
It was Arjuna's personal sorrow that was made universal in Bhagavadgita.
Buddha's quest began from something personal.

What I was trying to say was 'itna saara domestication' just for this. They made Rudra say those lines to revert to this.

But both Budhdha and Arjuna went through a personal inner journey, to graduate from personal doubts to realisation

but here Rudra seems to be a self satisfied soul, totally immersed in grahastha ashram

Budhdha always had doubts and a sense of virakti with his princely status

Arjuna was a warrior, he did not shy away from fighting, it was from fighting against his loved ones that he found difficult

yahan toh rudra's journey has been from macro to micro, from being special to common... if I may say so

now to turn to his father and pay heed to him for his selfish interest makes it disappointing

Rudra's personal doubt hasn't taken place yet. We are speculating. But when that moment comes, his journey is just like Arjuna's.

Buddha's quest didn't have to do with any personal tragedy per se. Looking at the natural tragedies happening in the world, his inner turmoil began which led to his self realization.

Arshi said it all about Arjuna.

If you look at Shivanand's fear for the world, his family tragedies should have long drawn him away from his quest, but he is steadfast in his resolve. Not always personal tragedy strikes to trigger the inner need to serve the world.

Here to me what makes Rudra's act selfish is that all this time he is not at all interested in probing or even listening to what Shivanand's quest and fear for the world is. Infact he was trying to dissuade Shiva also from going on with his Amrit quest. If now he shows interest and joins Shivanand to save Maya is what will be wrong.

Daadi doing that will be understandable.
