The important thing right now in II is that the winner should have good control over their music, be in sur, and consistently sing well.
If we base a singer a lot on their looks or dancing skills, then that won't take the person very far in the music industry at all. The aim is to become a playback singer, and these qualities are not necessary to become one.
I personally feel that Emon has got all that it takes to become Indian Idol. He can't help it if his voice is like Sonu's - anyways, I personally think his voice is beautiful. The only thing is that his voting base may not be as strong as Prashant's or Chang's, but we can overcome that. Right Emon fans? 😉
