102 Not Out Postponed?
Umesh Shukla is busy wrapping up his next film All Is Well, which was to be completed last year but date issues delayed the film, and it will now release on July 3. In fact, during that time, his next film titled 102 Not Out was to start rolling but a source close to the director reveals, "102 Not Out featuring Amitabh Bachchan and Paresh Rawal was to start rolling from June this year but because of All Is Well, the Senior Bachchan film has been postponed to the middle of next year. Since T-Series is producing both films, it was easy to rework the dates."
102 Not Out is based on a Gujarati play of the same name. It will now go on floors from the middle of next year.

A New Co-Producer
There was much confusion regarding the release of Akshay Kumar-Amy Jackson starrer Singh Is Bling. First, the film was to release in July; then the makers changed the film's release date to October 2 since it was considered a more beneficial date. After locking the date, the film was to go on floors from the end of January and when it failed to, rumours about it getting shelved began doing the rounds.
A few days later, Kumar tweeted about how the film was definitely on and would soon go on the floors. But now, to settle matters once and for all, we have a final word from the producers of the film.
Jayantilal Gada of Pen India says, "We had never announced that the film was shelved. The film will release on October 2 and will go on the floors from the third week of April. We are also co-partnering with another production house to back the film. So rest assured, the film is very much on track."

No Buyers
These days, filmmakers are cashing in on hit films and announcing sequels to their prequels to leverage free publicity. Keeping this trend in mind, '80s famous director N Chandra has decided to bank on one of his cult classics,Tezaab, featuring Anil Kapoor and Madhuri Dixit in the lead. The original film released in 1988 and Chandra has now directed a sequel featuring newcomers. The music of this film is almost as good as the older film. But all is not well. A source close to the director reveals, "The film is ready but the makers have no buyers. Turns out, no one wants to put their faith in a new cast. As a result, the film has been in the cans for quite a few months."

The makers recently completed the shooting and are looking for a clear slate to release the film. Nawaz Choosy Again
After the marvellous success of Badlapur and watching Nawazuddin Siddiqui in so many films, everyone is aware of the powerhouse performer that he is. The actor is offered several scripts from all over the world but he is in no hurry and wants to choose only quality scripts.
A source close to the actor reveals, "There was a time when he had almost 20-30 scripts with him, and roles which also offered good money. But at this point in his career, he doesn't want to risk doing a film that would mar his prospects. So he is concentrating only on good scripts by good directors who could be new but must be talented. He's shooting for Bajrangi Bhaijaan and then he has Raees. Apart from these two films, he's also doing Kushan Nandy'sBabumoshay Bandookbaaz. He has decided not to sign any other scripts will he finishes the films already in hand."

Guess Who?
Ever since this film was made down South, there have been many filmmakers from Bollywood who wanted to remake it. Still, it was never remade. In fact, some A-list actors were also very keen to do this film but nothing happened.
After a few years, a big filmmaker has finally decided to make this film in Hindi and has also zeroed in on an actor to play the lead. Everyone thought the film would finally be made in Hindi and our audience would get to enjoy this great piece of cinema.
Now we have a BIG filmmaker and a BIG actor to boot. But there's another problem - Although it has been announced that the film will be made soon, the filmmaker is finding it difficult to get a perfect director for the project. Well, we have faith in this filmmaker and we're sure he will definitely make this film happen.
