The Supreme Court has granted interim bail to actor Sanjay Dutt in the '93 blasts case. There was an argument that went on for over an hour in the Supreme Court following which the Court said that all the convicts had a right to get their conviction report. Till such time all of them have a right to be on bail.
Says Priya's secretary Krishna Hedge," Dutt will be back home tomorrow by late evening as his bail copy has to be first submitted to the TADA court and then to Yerwada Jail officials. We are gearing up and trying our best to get him out as soon as possible. It is just a matter of hours now before Dutt should be free."
Meanwhile, there is continuous police patrolling outside his building Imperial Heights in Bandra, Mumbai.
Dutt had been sentenced to 6 years rigorous imprisonment by the TADA Court on July 31.
Earlier, on November 28, 2006, a special TADA court found actor Sanjay Dutt guilty under the Arms Act for possessing an illegal weapon. He was cleared, however, of the charges of terrorism and conspiracy under TADA.
