Guess who: This popular actress turned down a film opposite Salman

A popular actress, known for her acting chops and sartorial sensibilities, candidly claimed that she was offered Bajrangi Bhaijaan opposite Salman Khan. It seems the only reason she didn't do it is because she didn't want to just stand and lurk behind the hero. And to think every actress would give an arm and a leg to work with Mr Khan.

Remember how Kangana Ranaut had once stated that she will do anything to work with Salman Khan? Well, she did get a chance but she politely turned it down. The movie in context being Salman's next release- Bajrangi Bhaijaan. Though the film was initially offered to Kangana, she decided to let go off the offer which then went to Kareena Kapoor.

A source close to the actress explains, "Kangana has finally found her footing in the industry with the success of Queen and people are referring her as one of the finest actresses in Bollywood today. Now she does not want to take a chance with her films and roles anymore". Not just that, the actress also feared losing out on the screen time and hence decided to back off, claimed the source. "Everyone knows how it is. Actresses hardly get prominence in any Khan films. The entire focus is on the superstars and Kangana wants to do meaty roles rather than choosing films which will have her in a brief appearance opposite a big actor"

Now we know why Kangana decided to move out of Kabir Khan's project and settle for something else. But with Kareena taking her place, she surely must have taken a sweet revenge. Why? Kangana's Queen too was offered to Kareena before she was approached for it and look where she's now!
