Why should ONLY Voldmort kill Harry?

Hey guys..I am back with another theory😆

well, in the Chapter Prince's Tale in HP-DH (Page-551-UK Version)--- Dumbledore tells Snape that Voldemort will live as long as Harry is alive...and then Snape asks him whether "The boy must die?". So Dumbledore tells that "And Voldmort himself must do it Severus, That is essential."

Why should Voldemort himself do it? Wont the part of Voldemort soul in Harry die if he is killed by someone else and not Voldemort? It will be, right?

If we combine this dialogue of DD with another one ..I dun remember the exact dialogue..its something like "When time comes, he(Harry) will be ready"

Dumbledore understood Harry very well and knew that he would sacrifice himself when he understands the truth.

was it mandatory that only Voldmort should kill Harry/ that is try to kill him because if Voldemort tries to kill him, he wont die...Had Dumbledore PLANNED that all along? he didnt explain it to Snape but I found that dialogue quite interesting..

I know its a kinda wierd theory?!😕😳 Can someone shed some light on this...I may be talking real stupid rubbish u know!!😆

and for ur question i think dumbledore didnt say all to snape

there was one place where dumbledore explains i think its in the very end that voldemort took harry's blood which had his mother protection and harry also had voldemort soul inside him thus doubling the bond between them

i guess that harry heart being pure he was ready to die to save others and since his mother blood lived in voldemort he was alive where as voldemort destroyed the piece of his soul in harry himself without realisin the truth.

thas why he only had to kill harry

thats is my guess

mayb others can elaborate more

btw i went back to read book 5 and 6 and i feel 5, 6 and 7 all r running together so one must not miss the connections there

hi lakshmi😃...how r u?😳well....it was the prophecy thing...and also if we remember in a duel in GOF....voldemort tells others that it has to be him and harry....coz he knows tht harry himself does not have any extraordinary powers.and he wanted to show the world tht harry survived and voldemort vanished previously NOT due to harry's abilities...but due to mistakes of voldemort.so voldy wanted to kill harry and satisy his ego.

thr might be stronger reasons...but im sure this is one of them.😊

lolz..that I undrstood yaar..I know why Harry came back n all..But the point is..I wonder what exactly was Dibledore's plan..First I thought that he fel Harry will have to die at the end though he had a shrewd guess that Harry's pure heart will ave him..yet I again read The Prince's tale...n DD tells Snape that voldemort himself should Kill Harry-THAT IS ESSENTIAL...

That last word caught me..had he already planned that if and only if Voldemort tries to kill Harry will Harry escape death...Had he foreseen that ???😳

Of course Harry didnt know he wud ome back...DD never said the complete truth to anyone..maybe the lack of an equal or the complexity of his plan which made it impossible for him to confide it all to a single person but I am not at all blaming him..His brilliance is unmatched..what I wanted to know is whether it had been Dumbledore's plan that Harry would come back if he submits himself to Voldemort to die for the greater good

yess But that was Voldemort reason..I mean it had become an obsession for him as Harr had escaped by mere luck and irked him so often that he just couldnt bear it n he wanted to fnish him off himself..

What I am talking abt is why did DUMBLEDORE say that only voldemort should try kill harry😕 I mean was it part of his plan that if Voldy tries to do it , Harry will escape death and come back... Did he know it had he planned it all along?

ya i agree........i also think that dumby only told snape half the story, but i also think that dumby planned it all!!! he knew he was gonna die.....so when voldy was gonna strike him with the killing curse he knew what would happen to harry.....so he would be able to explain it to him at kings cross after it happened!!!

The essential part. Well let's imagine a case where someone else tried to kill harry. Firstly i doubt it would have been possible, considering Lily's protection for him which till that point WAS there. Voldemort had the same blood running in him and i think he was the only one who could have killed Harry. Another interesting thing is that in the prophecy it only states that neither can live while the other survives. THis doesn't mean that one has to kill the other, right?? Or am i finding loopholes?

As for the fact the Dumbledore knew he wouldn't die, no I don't think so... Dumbledore had set to gain the Elder's wand and the invisibility cloak, then the stone. But he had left his wand for Severus Snape, and i don't think as far as i know there were any intentions of Harry's gaining it. Harry gaining the 3 had been unintentional even from Harry's POV as he thought he was dead HIMSELF too. It was only later that he realised the wand he possessed was the elder wand, making him immortal. When Dumbledore said that the boy must die, i think he actually meant it.

yeah maybe he did..But still that is crazzzzyyyy brilliance ---ABNORMAL BRILLIANCE..I am prooud of course that my hero is sooo mad!!! But I cant even imagine such intelligence Like i mean he knows everything DD!?😆😳

Yess...He Dumbledore meant Snape to become the owner of The Elder Wand...But that was the flaw in his plan. Bcoz as Snape was not the omce who defeated him, he didnt become the owner of the wand. That part is understood

I too was under the impression that when DD said the boy must die...he meant it..But U cant really say right..as I said he never confided his entire plan to anyone...as he told Snape "I dont want to put all my secrets in one bastket, especially the one which is dangling in Lord Voldemort's hands"😆😉

He had made a guess that as Harry will be "ready" when the right time presents itself, he may escape the fate thrust upon him by Voldemort. A Fate which Dumbledore CANNOT change. But which Harry's DECISION can change

But I am confused abt what u said no one but Voldemort can kill Harry...I thought that ANYONE but Voldemort can kill Harry....😕 as It was Voldemort who tried to kill Harry...as it was he who had taken Harry's blood which is now rnning in his veins, Harry didnt die..If someone else had killed Harry, he would have dies and so wud the soul of Voldy inside hm (Correct me if I am wrong)

as for the Prophecy...If Voldemort hadnt chosen Harry , maybe nothing wud have happened..He wudnt have had a rival..he feared if it may be true that why he decided to make sure there wont be a chance. He didnt wanna take any chances and chose Harry as his enemy. He MADE the Prophecy true...

n Harry didnt gain he resurrection stone by accident..he gained only the elder wand by accident(as contrary to DD's Plan) DD had left the resurrection stone as he knew he wud need it at the end he wud need his lost loved ones for support whle he took the brave brave decision between life and death of the world...which is why DD had written "I open at the close" in the snitch.
