FROM DENIAL TO DARLING
She is nervous today. First day of this job. It is indeed big job than before she did. So its normal to feel like this. She is confident girl but still feeling nervous, and above all some of colleagues talking how short tempered their boss iss, it made her more nervous, tensed, she was thinking when she saw someone come near her desk, "so, you are the new one??"
she immediately stand up, "yes sir."
"no need to be formal with me, you can call me by my name also, i am aman", he said with a smile
aarti felt relaxed.. "from which angle he is rude like others saying,, Whats wrong?", she said in her mind. "i am aarti" she said.
aman: Yeah, my secretary said me. Its your first day and you are alone here, you had to wait, actually i was busy even everyone so didnt get chance to attend you.
aarti was quite surprised to listen friendly talk from her boss, its so uncommon. She become angry on them who scares her with their unnecessary words, "i can understand sir."
aman: ok now come, i'll introduce you to your boss, as you Know you are a trainee, and he'll be your trainer. Come with me..
"oh so another one there.. hope he wont be like everyone saying", aarti thought..
As they enter in the cabin aman said, "yash this is the new employee, you have to train her.."
"I don't have time to meet or introduce aman, will do that latter, you give the files to her, I"ll talk about that once I done with this.." yash said but didn't move his gaze from laptop screen..
Aman: ok, but better you don't stress about it much..
Yash: hmm
"lets go, I'll say you about the files", aman said to aarti..
Once4 they out of cabin aman started to explain her somethings but aarti's mind is not with her, that is in anther world. Aman must understood that, "hey are you worrying about him? He is not really like others say. He is strict about works only and at this moment he is tensed about something, don't worry, once he'll be free you can learn many things from him.
Aarti didn't know what to say just nodded her head and didn't know for what she nodded.
Aman: after sometime lunch break will be there, you take lunch, after that I'll say you other things and if till then yash will be free you can ask him. And its your first day but relax.. "
Aman left. Surprised aarti sat on the chair in her desk, trying to figure out was that true which she witnessed?? She couldn't stop to smile, to blush, "was that really him? Really? Oh god, is this true??"
"aarti why are you behaving like this?? There was nothing you know, was there? No, definitely a big no, and he didn't even look at you, so stop thinking like teenager", she said herself.
She tried to keep herself busy but the work also related to him, no one around, everybody went for their lunch. Once she thought she should go to his cabin again or not but then scolded herself, "don't be stupid aarti, ho sakta hai he don't even remember you, it will be embarrassing if he wont recognize you.."
"How all these people can say he is rude and akdoo?? And he is still the same handsome like before.." aarti shook her head to send away the thoughts but still drown to the past days of college.
Fresher party..
many boys and girls, new comers and the seniors also.. aarti looked around, "nah, no one looking good or perfect, not even thik thak.." she thought.. no one could attract her eyes..
And then she saw someone, someone who was looking perfect to her. "whats wrong with you aarti?? From when you started to look at the boys like this?? And with look how can you judge anyone?", her another part of mind said her..
"nothing like that, I don't want to judge people with look neither I have other intensions.." she said but couldn't stop staring at him and she prayed in heart that at least once him to look back at her but that never happened in that evening..
Next day after class in college campus, aarti sat alone, not alone, she get one friend in fresher party, pritha. But she always talk about study... Why don't she take a break?? Even in party also she was talking about books only, seriously.. and aarti's eyes fall on him again, but what the hell, why he is surrounded with bunches of girls?? Not bunches actually but still..", in her mind this only going on..
Pritha noticed her looking at the direction, "what are you looking at?? You know him?"
Aarti: not really, but so want to.." she understood what she going to say unknowingly so change the topic in middle, "we should make friends, isn't it?"
Pritha: what you will do to know them? They are seniors.. final batch. They will leave the collage in few months..
Aarti looked with surprise, "and how you know that??"
Pritha: my one cousin brother there in that batch. And the boy blue t-shirt, everyone knows him, very brilliant..
Aarti: are you sure that he is in final batch?
Pritha: 100%, and why are you asking like this? You thinking anything special about him?", she teased..
"who said that??" aarti surprised, why pritha saying like this like her stupid part of mind saying??
Pritha: anyone can catch that with your questions.. and better you don't think much and don't expect anything from me also.." she concentrate in her books again..
"I wish you wouldn't be this much studious..", aarti sighed.. "and from this much time he didn't even look back? This much busy??" aarti felt something else in this less time..
She couldn't stay in her memory lane anymore as lunch break over everyone return back and she had to concentrate in her works.. but its difficult after seeing him, after long 7 years.. she wanted to see him again, wanted to make sure something.. but as per sometime ago's experience she is sure that he is so much serious about his works as he didn't even looked up in that time when she was in his cabin..
Aarti was confused if she should go again there, she so want to know if he remember her or just erased from memories. It wont be much shocking if he forget because there was nothing much nor they shared much time. They knew each other but not so specially, not even like friends, then how he will remember her? So she shouldn't expect much but still she have to know..
But its working place so aarti cant go for asking only if he really remember her when there is no guaranty so she looked at the file and get an excuse to go there again..
Aarti knocked the door and heard him to say "come in". "didn't he take his lunch also?? Still working?" she thought. He was involve in his files still didn't look up to see who come there..
Aarti felt nervous, so nervous to say anything like she felt years ago.. she take a deep breath and asked, "sir, I cant understand this.. can you please help me??" she clutched her fist as she was feeling she is shaking in nervousness..
Yash guessed something, felt something when he listen her voice, he finally looked at the source of the voice and he couldn't believe in his eyes when he saw her..
Aarti's breath caught.. her heart started to beat faster than always when he looked at her. She still don't know he remember her or not.. she felt embarrassed, she could sense her expression might change the atmosphere. He couldn't recognize her she become sure to get his silence... she tried to change the situation, "sir can you please help me in this?? I am aarti, came here sometime back with aman sir.." she still had hope and for that she said her name, hoping her name may be remind him something..
