PART 2

yash couldn't find what to say. The person he is finding like mad from last two days is here infront of him. She was in her cabin sometime back and he didnt even know. He dont know to become exited, happy or surprised? He got up from chair and went near her, " Aarti, you here?? Me yash, you remember?" He couldnt hide his smile, his exitement but aarti still had doubt if thats real, if really they face to face, if really he didnt forget her

she covered her mouth with hand, she mostly shaking in exitement, "definitely i remember you, i thought you may be forget me."

"how can i forget you?" He wanted to hug her but ended up with handshake only

he didnt forget her, for aarti it is the biggest gift now

yash: How are you? And where were you all these years? Suddenly vanished?

Aarti find difficult to hide her smile, "i am fine, i moved to bhopal.

yash: Oh, but why suddenly?

she kept silence for some moment, "my father passed away, maa become alone so i didnt return here",, She sounded low.

yash: Oh, i am sorry, i didnt know and how to know? You didnt say anything to anyone, not even that girl, pritha. How much i tried to find you but you were nowhere.

aarti was surprised to listen him, is it her surprise day today? ,"you tried to find me?"

Yash felt like he has been caught for something, he tried to make up but still finds question in her eyes, "actually in few days we arrange a college re-union party, thats why wanting old friends to be together", He somehow lied but he had question for himself also," what need to lie? There is no party like this but still he says whatever come to mind, to cover something."

that night no one could sleep properly. In office yash couldnt say how much eager he was yo meet her, couldn't say after going to abroad also he tried a lot to contact her but in vain. He couldn't say what he did from last two days to know about her, couldn't say this also that What he felt when two days back he saw her in traffic, what he felt. He tried to rush behind her but the traffic didn't allow Him, after 7 years also it gave him same excitement like then when he first time saw her in college. He couldn't explain that after seeing her in traffic how again he searched her in social networking site and as he know her father's name he checked telephone directory also and called every satyendra dubey number and ask for aarti.

He knew its crazy, there was no guranty that she stay here, he knew like this impossible to find herbut still he did it as he couldnt find any other way.

after leaving college he went to abroad, he asked his friends if they have her contact number. Not all friends, its mansi only, he didnt ask anyone else about it. Whatever did mansi. Yash knew aarti but didnt have her contact number or information. Then mobile phones were not so available in middle class families children. So no chance and mostly he really was not good friend with her that could ask number, mansi had her hostel number but thats no use as she already left the hostel then. But one time his ego come between, when he is trying this much to contact her, cant she do little, not with him but at least with mansi. Time passed with busy schedule, all the attempts become light, and then suddenly after all these years when he saw her in front of him, he felt like heaven

aarti was on her bed, tried hard to sleep but his words ringing in her ears. He didnt forget her. They hardly talked in college expect 2 time still he remember her. She take her phone to call him but, "aarti you dont have his number also, how stupid.."she become angry on herself, but there was no way. She cant ask his number in first meet after 7 years. But fortunately her phone rang then, when she attend the call for her surprise its yash, "hi, yash here, i hope i didnt disturbed you."

aarti: Are no, not at all.",, How to say him that if he disturbed her then the most important disturbance it is.

yash: And, what are you doing?

for sure she cant say she was thinking about him only," Nothing, and how you get my number?"

yash: From office bio data.

aarti was silent, thinking really she is talking with him like this at night., it didnt happened before. Truly they couldn't find what to talk actually. So yash said,"ok then, will meet tomorrow" ,, Yash wanted to talk but didnt know what to talk and how.

the night was tough to spend for both of them, a unknown joy was beaming inside which they couldn't share with anyone.

In college..

"Someone is looking at you again and again", mansi poked yash

Yash didn't bother about that, "so what?"

Mansi: it is the same girl whom you discovered specially in yesterday party.

Yash felt embarrassed, "please mansi, give yourself a break, why you always behind me?"

Mansi: because I didn't see a guy like you yash.. come on yaar, how anyone can be this much boring? How many girls tried but aap toh mahan ho.."

Mansi disappointed to see no interest in him, "are, at least look once there, I know you liked her and this is first time when I find you are interested in someone.."

Yash: mansi, you know I had girlfriend in school so this is not first time..

Mansi jumped in excitement, "see now you accepted that you are interested in her"..

Yash wanted to see at her about whom mansi talking but he didn't, "you please stop your blubbering ok.."

"yash, please see na", she almost pleaded, offo, they are going, please look once, one chance there.."

Yash had to look back as his friend requesting this much but could see her back only as they were leaving.., "kya? Now happy?" even he also disappointed.

Mansi: are, look there.. they left something, book I think, go and give that to her..

Yash: don't be stupid mansi, I am not even interested in your nonsense, and what if that is not her book, there is another girl also", he said with doubt..

Mansi: why you thinking that much? You at least will get a chance to interact her. Go fast na, they will go now..

She understood something, "tumse kuchh nehi hoga.." and she ran from there, pick the book and ran behind aarti.., "excuse me, you must forget the book there"

Aarti actually was busy in drooling that forget the book, "oh thanx.."

Mansi: you are new comer right, hi I am mansi..

And they introduce themselves, "nice to meet you and by the way if you have any problem then can ask me or us.."

Yash was witnessing all those from far, he couldn't listen clearly but he saw mansi looked at hi and shouted, "yash, is my pen with you?"

Yash become confused ,"no". and after a while mansi returned to see his confusing face she said, "I just wanted her to know your name.. "

Yash stunned, "you are crazy..

Mansi: I know.. but this crazy girl can say you her name.. aarti dubey..

Yash: whatever, I said I am not interested..

Yash returned from his thoughts and felt he should inform mansi about aarti.. but then he noticed it become late with her train of thoughts, she must slept.. still he couldn't stop himself and text her, "finally I get her mansi, aarti is here, in delhi.."

A strange moment, when next morning they met in office. A big smile.. the smile can stop her heartbeat or can start a storm in heart.. but she never saw him smile this bright..thats different thing that they hardly had time together and in that time she didn't see him smiling like this. There is a huge difference. She felt awkward to work with him and he felt difficult to concentrate as he want to talk with her, want to know many things, want to clear somethings and he is not getting peace till he can talk with her but at work time that didn't happened, finally they get time when it was lunch time.

Yash: aarti, are you going for your lunch?

Aarti: yeah, thinking like that, why you don't take your lunch?

Yash smiled, "nah, nothing like that, I am foodie actually, .dont skip my meals.. I was asking because what need to go? You can join me here?

Aarti hesitated, don't know what to say, she is not that much frank with him and after all these years it feels strange..

Yash could sense her hesitation, "come on aarti, come on aarti, we are friends, isn't it? Nothing changed, just some years gone but rest of things same.."

Aarti felt lovely to listen him, nothing changed, but at the same time she felt what didn't change? She didn't even know how was the time and feelings before to him?
