Part 5

yash: Yeah, and you were good athlete in college so whats problem? And its not a do or die match its just for fun. Please aarti.

aarti was not ready to listen them, "please dont force me, i am not comfortable"

aman was going to say something but yash stopped him, "let her do what she want aman, no need to say more things. Who are we that she'll listen to us? Lets go back to work." Without listing anything yash left from there. aman once looked at aarti, "dont worry aarti, i'll talk with him."

aarti also felt bad. She didnt think that yash'll be hurt by her words., "no aman, let it be. I'll see."

aman stood up, "ok then, ab tumhare hawale situation my friend."

Aarti couldn't concentrate In her works. The only thing roaming in her mind was yash's few words. After so many ifs and buts she decided to visit yash as it become impossible for her to wait some more time. She went to yash's cabin with the excuse of works. She couldn't understand if she should raise the topic or not as yash just was giving answers professionally

they used to ignore each other in college, then that was not a big deal. May be it was like competition, who can show more attitude by ignoring. But in these few days aarti become habited with yash's attention, now it hurts when he avoiding her.

suddenly she said, "can i say something? But not about works, i want to talk with my friend."

aarti never accept before that they are friends, like that situation also didnt come before. Yash looked at her knowing what she will say, "your friend is right in front of you", he was trying to hide his smile.

aarti: Are you upset about...

yash: About what?

aarti: About the discussion going on some time ago.?

yash kept quite sometime, "not really,. But.. Honestly yes. I expected something, that didnt happen, thats why may be. I thought i can ask you something as friend. I have the right to want something from you. I thought we become good friends so you will keep my words but looking like.."

"please yash dont take in heart. I didnt think like that", She pleaded .."i never played like this thats why, nothing else, believe me."

yash take her hands in his, "why are you nervous? Its not world cup, lets give it a try. For me, please, its just only a game, for fun. I wont able to enjoy if you will not be. You'll enjoy, i promise"

his words are normal but still had a deep meaning. Aarti felt special again. It was like a dream for her. She could feel everything changing slowly around her. She didnt want the denial.. She bit her lip,"ok, i am ready."

yash couldnt held his excitement, he hugged her suddenly, "yes, i knew it. Thank you."

Aarti didnt think about it ever, how it can feel when she will be close to him like this. She forget to breath. for her impossible to think anything else. But still in that time she started to imagine something which her heart allow always but her mind always stop her to do so. She so want to hold him back but its like every part of body stop working.

Yash didnt think before hugging her. Its just like he wanted to hug her and did that. He didnt feel that what if aarti will feel bad? He just felt that she will not feel bad.

Yash break apart after a few moments, held her shoulder, "aarti, i want to say you something, may i??"

aarti was still under one kind of surprise, "hmm" She couldnt say anything else. It was again tough for her when yash is this close to her, looking in her eyes and holding her in his hands. Its impossible to her to utter anything else or move her eyes from him.

yash: I can say, but promise me you wont think bad about me.

aarti's imagination level was increasing ,"i promise"

yash: Actually, i knew it that you'll agree, I was pretending to be upsety, it all was a trick. Please please dont mind.

aarti have taken a back to listen him. Did she expect something more?? "what?? Really? You wanted to say this?"

"yeah ,what you thought? Please don't mind, its just for bringing you in the game"

Aarti had to smile to see his expression," Oh my god, you cheater, Is it really you? From where You learn all these?

yash relaxed to see her smiling, "all thanks to mansi and aman. If friends like this then whats my fault?" Yash said and both involve in laughing.

A voice broke their attention, "looking like i am unexpected here, disturbed very important moment", Mansi said while entering.

yash immediately take his hands off from aarti's shoulder and moved apart, as there no guaranty about mansi's words., "kya mansi? After getting husband totally forget me?" yash said

"its you who didnt call me from last few days and saying l forget?" Mansi put the blame back on him.

yash: It was your honeymoon, idiot. If i call you again and again then your husband can get wrong impression about me. I didnt want to disturb you and you blaming me? You also could call me.?

"i also thought you were busy in something really important thing And after coming here i understood its right you are really so busy nowadays.", she started teasing looking at aarti..

Aarti wanted to change the topic, "hi mansi, how are you?"

Mansi looked at her with confusion, "do I know you? Who is this yash?"

Aarti was stunned by this, after meeting yash she listen many time that how mansi missed her, how she tried to find her and now its looking like she don't even remember!!, "mansi, I am aarti..your collage friend..", she tries to remind her..

Mansi: oh really? You really were my friend? And which friend do like this? Vanish all of sudden without informing? And latter don't even try to contact? What kind of friendship this is?"

"I am so sorry. Situation was not in my hand. And i didn't have any of yours contact details, I am very sorry dear. I promise, aage se aisa nehi hoga.." aarti said

Mansi: what do you think next time we'll give you the chance to do like this? This time we'll permanently set you so that you never can get chance to do like that..

To see aarti's confusing face she said, "come on, now give me a hug.."

They hugged. Aarti: I am really happy to see you again..

Mansi: do you have any idea how much some people missed you here?" she gave a hint towards yash, some how aarti could catch that and she couldn't stop herself to blush, "even me too missed you.."

"by the way, whats going on? Why you both were laughing? If you don't mind to share.", mansi said with a naughty tone...

Yash: mansi, please give your brain some break.. I know you always think extra ordinary but we were talking about this years office cricket match.. aarti want agree but I played some trick and it worked..

Aarti: yash changed a lot in these years mansi.. before he don't even talk properly, now totally opposite..

Yash: was that only me who didn't talk properly? There was another name also in list.

Aarti couldn't give answer now. Its true that not only yash she also was the same. She always hesitant to talk with him. Yash still talked himself sometimes but she didn't go to talk fisrt anytime

Mansi: I really don't know what was in your mind then. But leave all these why aarti wasn't agree? Any problem?

Aarti: I didn't play like this before, even I don't have any idea,, so...

"toh kya hua? Our yash is here. he is expert in cricket. He'll give you all the training..", mansi gave the perfect solution..

Yash was shocked by this, "what? Me? How? And when?

Mansi: who else? Aarti need some extra practice and you will help hi.. what say aarti?

Aarti didn't say anything.. she cant say no.. she cant even say yes like this.. and how can she say yes when she don't know yash agree or not. She was thinking when get a call and she involved with her phone..

Yash got a chance and then dragged mansi to a corner, "hello, what are you doing all these?

"fixing your cricket date. Tum dono ka to waise bhi kuchh nehi hoga. Like this more 8 years will go and you'll keep laughing only..not only 8 years if I wont do anything then you both will be in your 80's and will work as boss and employee. Come on yash, you get chance after years, don't loose this chance also. And now don't you dare to spoil my plan, shut your mouth and let me do what I am doing.." mansi gave answer smartly and went to aarti..

Sometime this girl scare yash, he couldn't say anything as he know she was right.. and if anyhow he try to say something or do something then no one can save him from mansi, "oh god spare her poor husband" yash said but slowly so that she cant listen...

Aarti was talking in phone but all her attention was on yash and mansi. She don't have problem to accept that she was feeling little jealous but then convince herself that mansi is married already so nothing to worry.

Aarti finished her call and mansi said, "so are you ready for the practice aarti? Yash want to know the time.."

Yash looked at her but wasn't surprised at all as he know that now she can say anything and he cant even stop her..

Aarti: okay, but when? We have office everyday expect weekend and in this weekend the match. So we wont get time..

Yash come forward, "mansi, now please don't ask to take leave from office for the practice.."

Mansi glared at him, "I am not that much fool, this thursday is a national holiday, so you can use that.. so its final. Thursday. Even I also will come to see and help you.. ok?

Aarti was feeling awkward but when mansi said she also will join them so she agreed. She wanted a time with all of them.. after a few talks aarti left from there to complete her remaining work..

Mansi turned to yash,"I said not to talk in between.. but I am impressed by you"

Yash: for what?

Mansi: you already moved a long.. before don't want to talk now hands in hand, eyes in eyes.. kya baat hai.. aarti was right.. you are not like before..

Yash was trying hard not to blush and thanking god from heart, "thank god, she didn't see us in hugging position, otherwise jeena mushkil ho jata, "nothing like that mansi, its just a friendly moment..

"a friendly moment? Okay, and now a request don't spend the time in talking about cricket only. You can take it as warning also.. you know me, if you will not talk with her then you know me.." mansi gave him the strict warning..
