Shree Ashtavinayak Cine Vision Ltd. and Director Imtiaz Ali have come up with a fun contest to decide the title of their untitled film starring Shahid and Kareena Kapoor in the lead!!

The audiences will be given three choices to choose from!! "Actually the idea came from Shahid. All of us had different ideas about the title….we finally narrowed it down to three titles but couldn't decide which one. So we thought we would ask our audiences!! The title with the highest votes will win." says director Imtiaz Ali. The film is produced by Shree Ashtavinayak Cine Vision Ltd (of Golmaal and Bhagam Bhag fame)

The first title is Punjab Mail - it signifies a relationship between two strangers (Shahid and Kareena Kapoor) who meet on a train to Punjab, the second title is Ishq via Bhatinda – since both the characters end up going there because of certain incidents and the third title Jab We Met is a mix of Hindi – English words since the youth today use both in a eclectic mix.

Earlier Vishal Bharadwaj's Omkara too had run a similar contest last year where it asked the audiences to choose between three titles (Issak, O Saathi Re and Omkara) through a poll.
