For acclaim and the contrary, the professional credentials of the person who does it should be what counts. The sad reputation of the corruptibility that corrupt people in India gave to the world (and which doesn't stop to increase) doesn't give a lot of confidence to - maybe - even honest critics... Personally, the changing I felt in Komal's and Taran's behaviour makes me skip anything they have to say/write since a while. Already some years ago, I stopped to care for Anupama and Rajeev... sadly, far too many have become 'mouthpieces' of their 'masters' (outside or inside). I got the feeling that I prefer members and some selected critics (Indian and Western ones)...

Shahid just says what many filmmaking people (not only in India) feel since social media platforms give the possibility to gain attention (and an income) to everyone who craves for it. But I guess, the point of saturation may not get reached yet for a while until the interest declines dramatically...

This interview was done before the release of O romeo. He wasn't talking about himself or his films. He was asked a question on what he thinks of trolls on social media. It was a general reply. And it's true people go too nasty these days .. that's what he is exactly saying here. If you don't like the film fine write you don't like the movie no need to go personal. Even the reporter who interviewed him has replied on X .

I will post It .
