That rant almost felt like my own..
Well, that's a trademark 4 Lions touch apart from the hate-love story and soothing bg music! 😆
Why do you think all their shows have short shelf-lives! This, here is the very reason.. Different directors, yes one can adapt to that.. But different writers - is a living nightmare..
One creates a character, the other butchers it and the third tries to fix things.. And that leaves us scratching our heads.. Coz we being us, never stop looking beyond the obvious.. Optimistic much!
In short show ki, characters ki, aur humare dimaag ki band baj jaati hai.. 🥱
On a side note, shukar maanate hain that HS has only two teams of writers, unlike their previous offering which had a new writer every episode.. 😕 Sigh, I used to cry like a baby! 😡

Yes, that's what we wanted.. 20 mins of Saaz.. But bhai, romance ka matlab yeh toh nahi na ki logic aur characters ki charas bo do..
A mellowed down version of Sahir, Arzoo exercising her biwi rights and them opening up to each other - Picture perfect - What more could we ask for..
If only it wasn't rushed and kinda misplaced, I felt..
Especially when there's a killer out there, he's been shot, she's been attacked, someone obviously changed the meds..
As so rightly pointed out by you, why was the detailing missed?

Like someone has rightly said, In fiction, you need to show their feelings rather than saying that they feel..
That's what was missing, especially in Sahir's case..
And Arzoo's too..
Sahir feels relieved that his wife is around to share his pain, inflicted by his tragic past.. But never once have they shown him pondering over the fate of their relationship ever since their marriage..
Whatever their circumstances be, Zeenat is still his lawfully wedded wife, atleast on paper..
How then does he intend to do justice to Arzoo?
One may argue that he wasn't thinking about it when he got married to her hastily.. But now, after return of Zeenat - Aahat?
Sharing shaayris and letting her tend to him is sweet, lekin Miya, are you seriously that naive to overlook the fact that someone shot her (you) and poisoned you?
From where I see, your lives are far from being normal..

But romance, comedy, action dikhane ke chakkar mein why is the essence of humsafars being toyed with!
Having said that, I'm really looking fwd to seeing how the writers redeem themselves..
Esp. With the track of NH and/or Saiyaara not belonging to Sahir.. Coz if that happens, SAC's characterisation, or the way I've perceived him over the months is going to get shaken up badly.. There will be little reason left to justify his 'Shark' wala attitude..
