It is rather unfortunate that Zee TV had to change the lyrics of a song. Why did they have to choose a song if they felt it was controversial? Zee had good intentions of bringing out the feeling of brotherhood between the two countries, it would have been ideal if they had let the feeling of kinship rule.

We really feel for the sentiments of our Pakistani friends. Whatever has been done is done, but we can still try to uphold Zee TV's noble intentions by keeping political boundaries out of our feelings for the participants. Music truly has no boundaries and lets appreciate the fine singers in Amanat, Junaid and Mussarat and keep our political sentiments out of it.

The topic is hot and justifiably so. However strong sentiments and comments can hurt the sensitivity of nationals from both the countries as there is a possibility discussions can go out of hand.

So in the interest of the sentiments of all members , We the SRGMP Dev team in keeping with out section rules find the topic violating rule # 13.

the person who said that even indian contestent didnt said indias name in those song they sung. but the songs they sung were indians right and they didnt even change the lyrics for indian songs then what was the point of changing the lyrics for pakistanis songs. Yes they did change the lyrics for pakistani songs. let me ask u guys something. if this show was in pakistan and indian peoples were asked to sing Pakistanis song on pakistans independence day would u guys accept that. no right then y the hell they did to pakistanis contestents.
