My parents are from Pakistan (which technically makes me one too, lol but I've been in Canada for most of my life), and I don't think we were insulted or anything. Yes they changed the lyrics but hey, India and Pakistan STILL HAVE political tension, conditions might be better than they were 50 60 yrs ago, but it isn't like Pak and India are best buddies or anything. So, we gotta respect that. And I'm sure the Pakistani contestants there understood the sensitivity of this issue as well. I'm sure it's just normal people and the media which are trying constructing all this negatively and hyping it up more than it's supposed to be.

I gotta say though when they were performing Jazba Junoon, I was like dude what the hell are they gonna say for 'Pakistan kabhi na bhoolo'?! It made me laugh...but not in a way that I was insulted or anything.

And one more thing indians give oppurturnities to all even pakistani singers thats why they are popular. mohd rafi, lata mangeskar, asha bhosla, kishore kumar, jagjit singh, kumar sanu, alka yagnik, sonu nigam, shreya ghosal all are from india and talented.

they only invite our already so popular singers from Pakistan to sing in their movies, and our singers like Ali Zafar release his album in india just after himesh reshamiya stole his song "rangeen hai tu" and he couldn't claim the rights because he was told that you have to buy copy rights in india too...

that's why to safe their songs from stealing... they release it in india...😳

even Pakis get fame when they come to India and sing in Indian movies or albums but if paki ppl have so much problem with India they should say to those contestants to leave the show......they r not slaves there...unko bandh ke to rakha nahin huya.... jab chahien jaa sakte hain.....aur wiase bhi unko chance de ke baatein hi sunti padti hain aur bashing bhi......... aur bacchon ne Pak flags faltoo ke pakde.... kya mila..........so instead of these three pakis ...3 Indian can get a chance😉.......inke jaane se india ko koi loss nahin hoga😆

I'm sorry I dont like to stoop to such low levels, and I think my post before this one made that clear. But since you've pointed out- A LOT of Paki songs these days are being taken by Indian movies. Most Atif Aslam songs, Fakhir songs, Roxen, Ali Zafar etc etc...and to be honest, the Indian versions ruin the original. Especially the Roxen songs in the movie Awarapan. You should listen to the original Paki To phir aao version and youll know what Im talking bout.

My point being, both countries have talent, and both use each others stuff.

WELL ATLEAST THEY ARE GIVEN OPPURTUNITY TO SING IN INDIA WILL YOU LET INDIANS SING IN YOUR COUNTRY. THERE IS NO PAKIWOOD AFTER HOLLYWOOD WORLD WIDE BOLLYWOOD IS FAMOUS GET THAT IN YOUR BRAIN.
