Being a side hero has got nothing to do with his personality.

This man has class, good values, and it takes guts to stay grounded despite being less successful and not mind in accompanying more successful family.

Otherwise men neither succeed themselves nor let successful wife do anything because of their insecurity, frustration and ego.

Abhishek is sane, respectful, balanced and didn't ever show bitterness towards family.

As a husband he is better than the guy he was compared to. His marriage is intact. He has not ditched his wife or seeking therapy or having affairs.

We have no problem if wife supports husband. Why call out on a man who supports wife and is happy with her success?

He might not be a superstar or big as HR, but he's not a passive husband IMO. He is working and still doing well enough for himself.

And an ideal husband is not just about how successful he is. There are filthy rich men, very successful, but who treat their wives badly. AB might not be as successful as Aish, but he graciously accepts it that his wife is the bigger star, and supports her. No ego issues seem to be there. Hardly any rumours of him having flings with other actresses too, again, something which is so common in BW (NOT saying that all of the rumours are true).

She worked after marriage, took a break, now she is returning to work and again he is supporting her there by taking responsibility to handle Aradhya as much as he can. (I read this in an article)

Of course, Aish has been great as well. I was never her fan but I have to say she managed marital life very well, supporting AB and gelling into the Bacchan family along with maintaining her identity and balancing work. Together, they make a very good couple. It was very sweet to see them rejoicing when Abhishek's team won the Kabaddi tournament.
