I doubt anything was done maliciously and with bad intentions or any intentions for that matter. I'm sure he rehearsed as well but maybe nervousness, the fact that this was his first time hosting alone just made him good up.

Live and learn. At least he's laughing at himself along with his colleagues. With all the other drama and controversy surrounding the awards this a refreshing change of attitude.

Sidharth is not very confident on stage and everyone knows that. In his nervousness and eagerness to do a good job he goofed up...big deal. At least he is sporting enough to laugh at himself, didn't think he'd be able to do that. I'm impressed. Most of the younger generation actors are pretty cool that way.
