Thank you so much, my dear Swetha!

My latest post, on the last week's episodes, is just up. Do take a look at it when you find the time.

It is more critical than any of the earlier 3, and I would like to see if you agree with me and if so, to what extent.

I am sorry that I could not get it out any earlier but my knee problems apart - and it is so sweet of you to be concerned about those - the house is now inundated with teenage guests, and I am having to win guerilla battles to get at the laptop!😉

My little Nikhila,

It is such a pleasure to have you with me regularly and to see your comments too.

I agree with most of these, except that Jalandhar was a more powerful character who dominated any scene he was in effortlessly. He was noble and majestic even in his wrongheadedness. This Rudra will not have those interesting grey shades to him, plus he is, even though he is supposed to be 28, more like an angry boy. And he has the kind of emotional anchor in his Maimuyi that Jalandhar never had for most of his life.

Your wish re: Charles has been duly fulfilled, but alas, I begin to think, after having seen the adult Charles, that he had better have stayed away! He is in sad contrast to his cheeky, gutsy and withal warm-hearted teen version!

I am not sure how I like this Maya. Let me see how she develops.

It is another set of nice analysis Shymaladi( Hope I can call you that). See I had expected Rudra's anger or I didn't had much problem in the way he fights of the policeman. But the way he responded to Mahakumbh mention by Maya I felt was way to OTT.
Now coming to Maya herself. My problem with her is not the girl next attitude she has , or the love story they want to show( obviously was expecting that as makers will defo want to show Shiv-Shakthi) but my issue with her is that she is not matching the assertiveness that is needed for the role. In her scenes with Rudra her eyes doesn't exude that subtle power that is needed for her character.

Thank you, my dear Shruti and of course you may call me Shyamala Di!

I agree with you in toto about Maya. She looks like the girl next door, and there is no aura of latent power about her. No Shakti, this girl! Perhaps that is why they have given her a highpowered uncle!😉

Take a look at my next one, where I have gone into some detail about Maya, and the impending deaht of Maimuyi.

My dearest Kunchu,

I am really sorry that I got around to doing this so late, but as I have explained in my apologia on page 4 of my next post, The Plot Thickens, which you have not seen yet (I had PMed you)I am finding it very difficult to get at the laptop these days, with teenage guests collaring it most of the time!

Your detailed comments here are well considered and very well expressed, which hardly surprises me! I do agree that all the other 6 garudas should have roughly equal importance, seeing that Rudra is clearly the Numero Uno, right from the far more imposing tattoo. It was like that in Yashraj's Seven.

As for Maya, the jury is still out as far as I am concerned, despite the shock twist in last night's precap, where she turns out to be Swami Balivesh's niece! More of all all that later. Meanwhile, do take a look at my last week's analysis.

I am sure you had a very pleasant weekend at home, which probably makes returning to the work routine that much harder! My knee is healing far more slowly that I had hoped, but that has to be endured as it cannot be cured!

Take care, my dear.

Hello aunty,

thanks for the PM else I would have missed it.
Last week was actually a treat. the young Sidharth was indeed awesome, which made me confused if the older version would keep up to it or not.
But yes! the adult Rudra was bang on too.
I was not so doubtful about the anger in the big Rudra. We got the glimpse of young one in various times. And to see his Maimui about to be beaten up will blow hos fuse for sure.
But Maya makes me a bit suspicious. Was she all so good as she is shown? was there a hidden mission, forced or not? Was she a part of the conspiracy made by any of the major names esp, Dr. Rao? wait and see.
The relation between the kid and Mai was indeed touching, The pain at the funeral, the fear of getting Mai hurt by his shraap, the shock of not seeing Mai when he came back and then the relief... well shown. And the nod of promise! how simple yet elegant was that!
Charles, one of the 7 garudas. I wish there comes a moment when all 7 stories are also shown because each one is important. TV usually does a habit of just highlighting the hero, heroine and villain, and that makes me happier while reading books where everyone is given importance at different times. If 7 garudas are important for the mission, they should be given importance or atleast a glimpse on screen too.
Take care of your health mam, and I am back after a weekend at home.
Kunchu.
