It is well known that Priyanka Chopra is playing an item girl turned politician in Madhur Bhandarkar's Madamji. Obviously there are distinct shades taken from the life of a particular publicity-hungry item girl in Bollywood who tried her hand at politics.

It now comes to light that Priyanka's character in Madamji would also borrow elements from the life ofa particular star-wife whose star-husband has gotten himself into some serious trouble.

Says a source, "PeeCee's character in Madamji is more about this star-wife who once used to be an item girl. After she got married to the star, her husband had to personally request and often buy off the titillating footage featuring his wife."

None of the film's team is speaking about their reference point for Priyanka Chopra's character, for obvious reasons. But there is much secret talk about it within the film industry.Says a director-friend of Priyanka's, "Her role in Madamji definitely has prominent shades taken from the star-wife's life. It's not sleazy but it's deeply going to be talked about because everyone will recognize whom PeeCee will play.
