Hey friends before you read my story i want to inform that this story has nothing to with the actual story line of Mahabarath.I love Karn a lot so this story will only focus on Karn and Akshadha who will be his love interest.As i only know how to understand hindi ,i will write the chapters in English.So i hope you will like the story.

CHAPTER:1
It was a peaceful night in Anga kingdom but the king of Anga was nothing but peaceful at this moment as he was standing in the balcony of his chamber lost his thought remembering the insults he faced in the sayamvar.The hurtful and merciless words of panchal princess still rang in his ears.He was hurt that just being a sutaputra and his caste always came a barrior for his talents and achievements.Thought he is the son of surya the god of sun his life is surrounded by darkness.He looked at his kingdom and had a bitter smile on his lips thinking though he is a king he didn't have the right tp marry a royal khatriya princess.He don't know what was his mistake being adopted by a suta as his own mother abandoned him in a river when he was a child.Though he loves his adoptive father Adiratha and his mother Radha he can't ignore the sting in his heart whenever he thinks why his own mother would aband him when he was an innocent child.His wounds from the insults he faced from the moment he wanted to become a warrior are still fresh and he wondered for how long he will have to face more insults and wounds.Just then the door of his chamber opened brining karn out of his thoughts.He turned and looked at Duryodhan his best friend entering his room and he walked towards him.
''Hello Mitra what brings you here at this late hours of nights?''asked Karn with a smile but Duryodhan can see his hurt behind his smile.
''Mitra i came to apologize for the hurt and insults you faced at the sayamvar.''said Duryidhan feelings really bad for the way they treated his friend .
''Mitra why are you apologizing when you are not at the fault''said Karn with a smile.
''No Mitra if i didn't asked to you come to the sawyamvar this would never happened ''said Duryodhan.
''Mitra if you want i will die for you for whatever you did for me and these small insults are nothing compared to what you did for me''said Karn with a smile and Duryodhan was feeling happy to have a friend like him but he can't accept his friend getting insulted just for him.But before he could replay shaguni entered the room limping with a evil smile on his face.
''Then i am sure that Angaraj will attend the sawyanvar of princess Akshadha ''said shaguni with a evil smile.
''Mamashri i am not going to take Karn with us this time and not going to let his get insulted anymore''said Duryodhan in a stern voice.
''But meri bacha you know Angaraj is the best archery so if he attend the sawyanvar i am sure he win win the hand of the princess ''said shaguni and Duryodhan was about to rplay but karn cut him off.
''Mitra i will attend the sawyamvar''said karn .
''No Mitra i will not allow you to get insulted anymore''said Duryodhan but karn kept his hand on his shoulder.
''Mitra its ok.I will attend the sawyamvar you make arranagements for that''said Karn and Duyodhan gave up knowing there is no use of arguing with his best friend any more.
''Ok Mitra .Now you have some rest we will talk about this in the morning''said Duryodhan and Karn nodded.
''Mamashri lets go''said Duryodhan and lef the room with shaguni.Once they left the room Karn shook his head hoping one day his friend could see the true colors of his mamashri and left to change his clothes for the bed.

Duryodhan looked at shaguni with a glare once they reached his chamber after talking with his friend.He was really upset and angry on his mamshri for forcing his friend to attend sawyamvar.
''Mamashri what is the need of asking Karn to attend the sawyamvar after he got insulted infront of everyone just day before yesterday?''asked Duryodhan and shguni gave him one of his evil smile.
''Meri bache like i said already Angaraj karn is the best archery warrior in the world and only he can win the hand of the pincess other Arjun.so stop arguing ''said shaguni.
''But Mamashri he could get insulted again''said Duryodhan with irritation.
''So what if he gets insulted.He is just a sutaputra who became a king only because of you.so bearing some insults is a payback he is doing for you.so stop getting emotional and focus on deafting the pandu putras''said shaguni and left the room leaving Duryodhan alone.And for the first time from his childhood Duryodhan started to think may be he is doing a grave mistake by listening to his Mamshri's words.

A beautiful girl in a simple blus saree was sitting in front of her mirror combing her waist length long hair lost in her thoughts with a soft smile on her lips.Just then a maid entered her room and smiled seeing her best friend's condition and kept a hand on her shoulder and shook her calling her name.
''Akshadha..Earth to Akashadha''said the girl and Akshadha came out of her thoughts and looked at the girl .
''What Radha?''askd Akshadha with a irritated face and Radha smiled at her friend.
''I am really sorry for disturing your dream with Angaraj Karn but i am here with a good news''said Radha and Akshadha smiled with a blush hearing Karn's name.
''What is it?''asked Akshadha with a smile.
''Well i got i came to know that Angaraj karn is coming to your sawyamvar''said Radha and Akshadha stood up from the chair with a big smile.
''Really?''asked Akshadha with a bright smile and Radha nodded .
''Haan Akshadha he agreed to come for the swayamvar and he will be here next morning ''said Radha with a smile and Akshadha hugged her best friend with a laugh .
''Thank you so much for bringing such a wonderful news Radha .I was worried he may refuse to come after what happened in his last swayamvar''said Akshadha .
''Ok now go and sleep .you have to wake up early for the swayamvar tomorrow''said Radha and Akashadha nodded .
''Ok.Thanks a lot againg for the news Radha''said Akshadha and laid down on the bed.
''You are welcome my friend .Good night''said Radha with a smile and covered Akshadha with a blanket.
''Good night Radha''said Akshadha and Radha left the room with a nod.Once Radha left Akshadha took a scroll from under her matress and opened it with a smile and caressed the picture of Karn which she drew herself.
''I know you will win my hand in tomorrow's swayamvar but i was finally happy you are attending the swayamvar.I love you karn and i hope i can be the wife you deserve''said Akshadha and hugged the scroll to her chest with a smile as she drifted to sleep with karn's dream filled sleep.
