CHAPTER:3
Karn was sitting in the balcony of his room which was provided by Akshadha's father and was drawing something in a scroll with a small smile playing on his lips.After few minutes he looked at the finished drawing and he looked it as a genuine smiled formed on his lips as he started to admire the Princess Akshadha he drew.Her sharp eyes which held both love and fierceness,her beautiful smiled which he captured in his heart when he saw her in the garden talking to her friend,her silky hair in which he wanted to run his fingers desperately.Thought Karn had the skill of drawing naturally he never drew any person after his parents and for the first time in his in life he drew a person and after seeing his creation bought some unknown peace and happiness to his storming heart.He didn't know how he was going to repay her for saving him from another humilation and for loving him unconditionally like this.He still couldn't find a reason why a pampered princess like her will love a normal guy like him.Though he is the king of Anga,everyone knows it was a gift of his friend Duryodhan and if he ask its back Karn will handle it back to him without asking any questions.He really wanted to know this answer and hope he will able to meet her soon to have some hearty talks.Just then he saw two figures in a white dress getting down from Akashadha's room balcony.As soon as he saw this the first thought that came to his mind was to run and see if she was right as he thought it may be some thives or enemies.But once the both figures landed on the ground.The scarf from the first figures moved out of it face and Karn relaxed seeing it was none other that Akashadha and he know the another one must be Radha.Then he saw Akasha covering her face again and both of them walked out of the palace without getting caught by anyone by climbing on a big tree and jumping out of the compound walls.Karn was shocked by seeing this would be an understatement as he never expected her to be this adventerous and he got this sudden urge to follow and protect her from all the dangers as he know its not safe to go out of the palace in this time.Then without a second thought he followed them talking his sword with him.

Karn was following both the girls for the last 20 minutes without revealing himself and he was really impressed by the way Akshadha seemed fearless walking in this dark forest.Just then they girl took a turn and when karn too took it he couldn't find them and he started to worry.But the next moment a sword was placed on his neck from his back.
''Reveal yourself and tell me why are you following us for the last 20 minutes?''asked the melodic voice which belonged to Akshadha and Karn smiled softly.Then he turned slowly and once he turned and came face to face with her Karn could see his sharp eyes getting soft and she lower her sword slowly realising it was none other than him.
''Angaraj Karn?What are you doing here?''asked Akashadha and Radha who was standing beside her till now decided to leave both of them alone and left back to the palace silently.
''Well i could ask you the same princess.Don't you know its not safe to roam in jungle like this in the middle of the night?''asked Karn with concern and feeling his concern Akshadha smiled.
''I know that Angaraj.But i am visting this jungle since my childhood and this is really a safe place for me''said Akshadha and Karn smiled in returned.
''So can i know why you came here this late?''asked karn and Akashadha just nodded.
''Sure.I will show you.Lets go Radha''said Akshadha and turned to look her friend only to find the place beside her empty.
''Arrey yeh kahan gai?''asked Akshadha in confusion.
''Well your friend left before few minutes leaving us alone''said Karn and Akshadha mentally cursed her friend for doing this to her and leaving her alone with Karn.Though she would love to spend time with him she was really nervous as she never expected she would get some alone with him this soon and prayed god to keep her from saying something stupid to him and making a fool out of herself.
''So can we go where you were planning to take me?But if you are uncomforable taking me alone there we can go back to the palace''said Karn.
''We can go there''said Akshadha and both of them started to walk silently beside each other.Though both of them wanted to talk a lot they found this silenly wear comforable and decided not to disturb the comfortableness for some more time.
After few minutes Akshadha stopped walking and Karn looked at her.
''Have we reached?''asked Karn and Akshadha nodded with a smile.
''Look there''said Akshadha pointing towards a direction and when Karn looked he direction she showed he saw a very beautiful sight of fire files dancing in a meadow and making the place like it was covered in gold.Then he saw Akshadha walking towards the meadow and followed her.Once they reached there a wind blew and make the scarf covering her face move from her face and she just started to play with the fire flies without even caring about it and seeing the childish excitement and happiness on her face bought a smile on karn's face and he just stood there folding his hands on his chest.Akshadha who was lost in her excitement on seeing the fire files after so long didn't even notice karn who was admiring her beauty and continued to play with the fire files.Then after few minutes she noticed Karn and looked down blushing seeing his gaze on her and took the scarf to cover her face again.But before she could do it a hand held her wrist softly and Akshadha looked up at Karn who was standing so close to holding her hand with a smile.
''Don't.Don't cover your face.Its so beautiful to keep it covered''said Karn and Akshadha was now sure she was looking like a tomoto as she could feel the heat rushing towards her cheeks by his words.Then Karn left her hand and decided to sit on the ground to enjoy this calm atmoshphere.
''Can we sit here some time?''asked Akshadha like she read his mind and Karn find himself nodding and both of them sat on the soft grass beside each other giving some respectable space between them.
''If you like fireflies so much why don't you take some with you?''asked Karn looking at Akshadha.
''As much as i love them i never had the heart to torture them by sealing them in a small place.They too deserved to live and enjoy their life independently as they wish.Just because we have a power over them doesn't give us the rights to steal their freedom right?''asked Akshadha and hearing her wise words Karn was really impressed again.
''You are absolutely right princess.''said Karn and Akshadha smiled.Then both of them fell into a comforable silence again as both of them didn't know what to talk.Then after few minutes Karn had enough of this silence and decided to ask about what he heard in the garden.
''Why are you in love with me Akshadha?''asked Karn and Akshadha turned with a jerk and looked him in shock.
''Aapko yeh kaise patha?''asked Akshadha in shock and Karn was glad she didn't deny it.
''I accidently heard you talking with your friend in the garden when i came to see you.So tell me Akshadha how can a princess like you can love a sutraputra like me.When everyone saw me like nothing coz of my clan but here you are loving me.Though i was never ashamed for being a sutraputra its really hurt when my chances for showing my talents being stole from me.I really want to know why you love me Akshadha and bofore you marry i want to make you clear that today i may be a king but the kingdom i rule is a gift of my mitra and if he asks it back i will return to him .And if it happen i will not be a king an i can't all the luxuries and happiness you deserve .so decided and think a lot before marrying me Akshadha coz i don't want you to regret marrying me in the future and still you have time to stop our wedding and you can marry any other prince or king whom you deserve and can make yo...''said Karn not even having an idea why he was talking all this to her.But he wants to make sure she will never regret after marrying him knowing it will kill him if it happens .But before he could finish Akshadha stopped him by speaking.
''Bas Angaraj please don't talk like this.I can't even imagine marrying someone except you.If something likes that happens i will set myself in fire before becoming someone else wife.If you didn't like me and not want to marry me,just tell me directly and i will life my remaining life with your memories.But just even talk like this again as it hurts more than anything''said Akshadha and Karn was really shocked not expecting this kind of reaction from her.And seeing the tears in her eyes made him feel like someone stabbed him in his heart and cursed himself for becoming the reason for her tears.
''Akshadha that's not want i meant and i am sorry for hurting your feelings.But i really don't know why would you want to marry me when there are lot of kings out there you will do anything to marry you.?I mean what you see in a normal guy like me''asked Karn and Akshadha's heartached to hear him talking like this about himself and not realising how greate he is.
''Well as i said in the sawyamvar hall i don't want a king who could give me nations as gift.I want a king who will give me his heart and love to me and i am sure you will give me that.Others may not see this but i see a mighty king aswell as a great human in you Angaraj.Yea i was true that the kingdom you are ruling is a gift from your freind but the kingdom is still yours and the people of your kingdom loves you just coz of you and your way of ruling.And even if you return back the kingdom to prince duryodhan i don't have any problem living in a hut if you are with me.I don't need any luxuries if i have you beside me to share my every day of my life.I will never wish for anything if i had the chance to spend my life with you Anagaraj''said Akashadha looking him in his eyes with such love and respect which made made karn eyes got moist and without wasting any second he pulled her into to his arms hugging her tightly as he really could not express his feeling in words after seeing her love and devotion for him.Akshadha on the other hand was really shocked first by his hug as he didn't expect it,but after few moment she relaxed and hugged him back softly resting her head on his chest.If Akshadha didn't belived in heaven before then from now she will star to believe it as she was already feelinf one in the arms of the man who stole her heart.After few minute karn broke the hug and Akshadha moved a little back smiling with a blush.Then karn took a hold of his hand and gave her one of his kindest smile.
''Thank you Akshadha for everything''said karn and Akshadha just nodded with a smile.Then karn left her hands and looked around to find the fireflies are moving from there.
''Can we go back.Its already late''said karn and Akshadha nodded.
''Yea.Lets go''said Akshadha and both of them walked back to the palace taking about themselves.

Karn stood infront of Akshadha's room once they reached the palace by a secret passage she showed and he was getting more and more on seeing her adventours side .
''So i will see you tomorrow''said Akshadha with a smile and karn nodded.
''Sure.Good night''said Karn returning her smile.
''Good night''said Akshadha and turned to enter the room.But at the last minute Karn remembered something.
''Akshadha''called karn and she turned and looked at him.Then he took a scroll from hip and placed it on her hand.
''What is this Anagaraj?''asked Akshadha with a smile looking at the scroll.
''Just a small thank you from me for everything you did''said Karn with a smile and Akshadha opened the scroll only to get her widen seeing her own picture drawn on the scroll with such a gracefullness which made her wondered whether she was this beautiful.
''Anagaraj yeh...''started Akshadha.
''I drew it myself.Do you like it?''asked karn and Akshadha just nodded with a bright smile.
''I just love it.I was the best gift i received till now and i will keep it safe till my last breath''said Akshadha and hearing this karn felt his heart skip a beat.
''Well i am glad you liked it.Now go and get some sleep.I will see you tomorrow''said Karn and Akshadha entered her room closing the door behind and karn too went to his room with a small smile playing on his lips.

As Akshadha laid on her bed after changing into her night clothes she caressed the picture karn gifted softly softly like it was the most delicate and precious thing.Then she closed her eyes and fell asleep remembered each and every moment she spend with karn.
Karn who was changing into his night clothes saw something shining in his shirt and when he looked closely he found it was chain and a smiled formed on his lips knowing to whom this belongs and he caressed it softly and placed it under his pillow to return it to Akashadha the next morning.Then once he changed into comfortable clothes he laid on the bed and closed his eyes with the thoughts of Akashadha and sleep soon embraced him.
