For all the doctorates in PR on this forum, most members eventually prove to be highly dense. Money or no money, associated with the movie or not, this is a mutually beneficial opportunity for BOTH Ranveer and Aamir. Through the Bang Bang dare or stuff like this, Ranveer basically gets the chance to appear in front of and possibly woo the die-hard fans of old school stars like Aamir or Hrithik.

As for them calling Ranveer instead of Sushant...if Ranveer is naturally gifted with the ability to entertain people in these promotional type of events, and someone like Sushant's forte lies in other places, why not? Why subject actors who don't like and aren't naturals at this stuff to promotional events and the audience to watch them too, when you can have those who breeze through and actually generate significant or entertaining content outside of movie scripts? It's almost like an MC gig. Good for Ranveer...he clearly enjoys collaborating with senior actors and people he's idolized to be here today.
