Ye Hai Mohabbatein!

The story of Ishita and Raman or...should I say... The story of Beauty and the Beast connected by an angel...Ruhi

Beauty: Ishita, a loving and caring lady who is always spreading positivity around despite being ditched mercilessly by life and by ex boyfriend Subbu.

Beast: Raman, a razor sharp mind and tongue man who had literally turned a monster oozing anger, pride, ego and hatred after being ditched mercilessly by his ex wife Shagun.

IshRa

Now let us go through the memory lane about IshRa's (Raman & Ishita) ajab and ghazab prem kahani under three main phases.

Phase one (1-100 episodes): Wedding of Beauty and the Beast!!

Relation Status: Rivals - Jhansi ki Rani versus Raavan Kumar.

Forecast : Dark and cloudy sky with plenty of lightning and thunder in the air.

How did Beauty and the Beast ended together? Well, by their common love in the form of the bundle of innocence - Ruhi. The two mates ended in matrimony with little Ruhi as the soul in the relationship. Life turned anything but boring with their never ending nokjhoks. She baptized him Raavan Kumar and he renamed her Jhansi ki Rani.

Together they kept overcoming all challenges in the form of dirty games by Ashok ( Shagun's 6 foot 2 inch boyfriend) the villain of the story.

Phase two (100-200): "The beginning of the Ehsaas..."

Relation Status: Friends??

Forecast: Trust and Care in the air.

With time Ishita realized that she got married to the mostcomplicated and confusing creature because...

The once upon a time rudest man on Earth was in real one of the most caring and loving person. He only had his own unique way to show love and care! She started enjoying his company, his one-liners started amusing her and Raavan Kumar started looking cute and sweet to her.Raman on the other hand tried his best to stay away from the paagal madrassan wife he got but finally...

he succumbed to her inner goodness and loving nature. The once upon a time "cactus" turned a "rose" in his life. In between the leg pulling and constant nokjhoks, he did realize that the woman was everything that his ex wife wasn't.
This phase also marked the entry of another villain - Param ( Raman's brother in law) to create havoc in our couple's life but again IshRa's unflinching trust and support towards each other and Param had no option but to run away with his tail in
between his legs and to join hands with Ashok.

Phase three(200-300): "Love is in the air"

Relationship status: Husband and wife

Forecast: A confession and the culmination of the wedding in the air...

IshRa is now a couple not only connected by Ruhi but equally from the soul. She is his strength, he is her pride. Together they are now ready to face all the ups and downs of life and all the dirty tricks of the three idiots - Ashok, Param and Suraj (the new entry in this phase).
Love!It came and it conquered!
Raavan Kumar and Jhansi ki Rani didn't get the time to realize what hit
them and when they did, they were completely hooked, line and sinker. Both have finally been able to put a name on the feeling they had been experiencing for each other since some time.
It is LOVE indeed!

Yes love has finally found a way in the life of our adorable IshRa. No wonder he turned green as a monster when he misunderstood her friendship with her friend Mani and she felt jealous when a certain Sanjana claimed to be his ex girlfriend.He loves her so much. Her happiness matters the most now! He is struggling and waiting for no interruption from the worldaround to confess his feelings to her
She loves him so much. She is longing to hear him voice his love for her but he had been a tease lately.

The Jaan Of Raman Kumar Bhalla, heart of Toshiji...Aditya Raman Kumar Bhalla.He is just Opposite of Ruhi. He hates his father and Ruhi's Ishima. His life revolves around Shagun ,Ashok and luxurious. His mind and soul is poisoned against his father by his own mother. He is just an example of spoilt brat.

Mr Bhalla : "When u realise who the good people are in ur life, u are lucky."

A Fun loving father. Raman's father and Ishita's father-in-law. He played an important role in uniting Ishita and Raman together. He is always there to support his family specially his daughter-in-law. He wants his son to be happy again.

Mrs Bhalla : " Perhaps it takes courage to raise children"

An absolutely true Punjabi woman! Loves to fight with her neighbours whom She calls 'Madrasis.' Boasting about her son is one of her favourite hobbies. Raman's mother and Ishita's mother-in-law. She loves to take her favourite juice called 'loaded'. She is emotional but not infront on everyone.

Simi : Bold Punjabi Women

A Total Carbon Copy of her mother, Hates 'Madrasis' loves her daughter and Husband. The 21st century 'pativrata' girl, who is devotee of her 'devil' pati parmeet. She is shattered knowing true colors of her husband "ParamJi" She loves her family a lot. She starts to love ishita and ask forgiveness for her past deeds.

Romi : Besharam Of the town!

Girls are his favourite Game! He lusts Mihika and always tries to get close to her but fails. Totally Opposite of Raman. Hates studying and hates his university! Due to his easy method of getting marks lead to trouble for Bala and Vandu. Raman n Family members came to know of Romi's all foul play. On his pleading of getting turned to a good boy Raman give him a second chance. Mihika still didnt forgive Romi. Romi founds a friendly relation in Sarika, receptionist in Ishita's Clinic. He is working as trainee in Raman's Firm. He married Sarika and betrayed her. He is having some mysterious disease which is hiden by Sarika.

Rinky : Studious kid.

Raman's sister, Studies a lot! Loves her bhabhi and respects her, She loves exotic stuff thus is always excited to know about her Bhabhi's Culture. Nowdays missing From Bhalla family...🤣

Mihir : "A brother from another mother"

Raman's brother not by blood but from heart. He can do anything to please Raman,

Raman holds the highest position in his life non can take that Positions, He madly loves Mihika, but because Raman doesn't like her he can't go against Raman ,he agrees to marry Trisha. Raman and Ishita makes him realise how much he loves mihika and getsengaged to mihika . He is brother of Shagun. Shattered and Confused with Mihika's Flop Plan

Ananya Parmeet Khurana : Sweet, Cute!

Sweetest Cutest Baby of bhallas.

Youngest Member of Bhalla family.

Ishita's father and Raman's father-in-law. Like Mr Bhalla played an important role in uniting Ishita and Raman togther. He is happy married and loves his daughter's and wife.

Mrs Iyer : " Enthusiasm is the mother of effort, & without it nothing great was ever achieved"

Ishita's Mother and Raman's mother-in-law. A total Tamilian! Loves Classical Music! Loves her son-in-law Raman, never fails to please him! She had always tried to settle her daughter's life and is happy about her marriage with Raman.

Bala : The perfect person

Ishita's jiju, Near Episode he was Promoted as HOD of a university. Honest & Strict, loves his family his wife & son, Respects and cares for Ishita. And also shares a good relation with Raman. Due to Romi's mistake, Bala is suspended from college.He is now home tutor of Aditya. His main aim is to bring Aditya to a well behaved son and to make him realise his father's love and how Raman misses Aditya

Vandu : Helpful and Kind.

Bala's wife and Ishita's Akka!

Principal of the College,Strict and Kind. She is fun loving ,happy going and mother to Shravan. She and Bala is expecting a newcomer in their small happy family.

Mihika : "A sister can b seen as someone who is both ourselves and very much not ourselves, a special kind of double"

Ishita is her Akka!

Strong and fierce woman of 21st Century! Fights for her rights, Loves her Sister & Mother. Loves Mihir and she felt lost seeing him getting engaged to Trisha. With the help of her jiju and akka she gets her mihir back. She is working as event planner in Ashok khanna's Firm. She is shattered with the defameshe got from Ashok while on mission on Save Shagun from Ashok Khanna.

Shravan : Naught kiddo

Bala & Vandu's only son!

Cute and Adorable! Extremely Naughty. Loves Ishita and is a very new friend of our dear Ruhi. He is very protective towards Ruhi.

MuthuSwamy : Kuttu 😆

The cute loving puppy , nicknamed as Muthu. Friend of Ruhi. Muthu stays with Iyer Family.

He plays a important role in life of Ishita,Raman and Ruhi. Nowdays he too is missing along with Rinky 🤣

A Total Womanizer. Only goal in his life to win against Raman Kumar Bhalla. Snatch the happiness of Raman is the achievement of Ashok. 😡 He was the boss of Raman who trapped Shagun and broke Raman's happywala life 6 years back. Now he is angry on Shagun taking Raman help in getting Aditya out of Madhavi accident case. He started laying his evil eyes on Raman's saali, Mihika Iyer as a revenge to Shagun and tohurt Raman & his family.He broke his marriage with Shagun , so that he can trap Mihika.

Shagun :" A girl should be 2 things: classy & fabulous"

Real Image of a luxury woman. A dump head who blindly love on money and luxury. She is ex wife of Raman. Currently girl friend of Ashok khanna. She is in a dream world of marrying her boyfriend Ashok khanna. She is unaware of the danger coming in her life in name of Ashok's revenge. She feels Iyer Girls betrayed her and ruined her life by breaking marriage with Ashok Khanna.

Parmeet - The DIRT.

A Total Womanizer.

And uptill now the most hated YHM Character. Has bad eyes on Ishita and Raman's business but, had managed to be innocent infront of everyone. He was thrown out of Bhalla house by Raman,after knowing his evil deeds and trying to molestate ishita. He is cunning wicked man who knows how to take advantage of the situation. For taking revenge of Raman & Ishita , he joined hands with Ashok khanna. With his buttering nature makes simi believe he is innocent,and it was ishita who had bad intention on him. With simi help, Parmeet and Ashok is planning to defeat Raman on the Business competitions.

Suraj Khanna : The guy who thinks he is smart?

He is the new Sassumma of YHM 🤣 Brother of Ashok Khanna. Only agenda in his life is to make Ishita and Raman life hell. But, his plan always backfired and made IshRa more close.

Ye Hai Mohabbatein can't be complete without mentioning the special members who are very close and cupid to Raman and Ishita

Mr Tandon

The client of Raman from London. Indirectly Mr Tandon is a reason for Raman to marry Ishita. He is very good friend of IshRa.

Mrs Tandon

Shewata can be called a cupid of IshRa.

Mr Neil Pathak

Lawyer cum friend of Raman.Neil helped Raman in uniting Mihika and Mihir. He is engaged to Trisha Tondon. He was the supporter of Raman in madhavi accident case.

Ms Trisha Tandon

Sister of Rajeev. She came to India, to see mihir and to get settled. She teamed with Raman ,to make Mihir open his love for mihika. She is a beautiful fun loving Bubbly girl. Currently she is engaged to Neil Pathak, lawyer of Raman Bhalla.

Vibhu Subbramaniam

He was introduced as mihika's fake fiancee. He is the president of Delhi Rajnikhant Fans Association. He is the son of Subbramaniam manager in Raman's Company. Very good friend of Mihika and Ishita.

Sarika

A cute seedhi saadhi girl of delhi. She was working as receptionist in Ishita's clinic. Victim of parmeet's evil intention. She has become a good friend of Romi and is secretly married to Romi. Currently she is pregnant with Romi child.

Mani

Best Friend of Ishita. He is her childhood friend. He had crush on Ishita. He is another successful Businessman. He has come to Delhi to get settled. Currently a torture for IshRa life.Hope to see him as cupid in IshRa life. 🤣

never end. Keep on Rocking. I think that the entire team is doing are

good job (let it be anyone, the cast, producer, director, make-up artist

including of spot boys). Everyone has a share to contribute in the

success. So it's really commandable and concept is cool.
Story also is cool. The cast also are cool.

It's strange, there is nothing that I do not like about
Yeh Hai Mohabbatein.
Even if it is the current track. Because there is

some learning experience in this, they (YHM Team), set an

My most fav comedy scenes of yhm...hmmm frankly there r lots but what comes in mind just now are

1-raman flan in bathroom scene

2-both the condom scenes... their first night n the recent one

3-bed breaking scene n raman sleeping beside ishita after Embarrassed

4-him forgetting his pants in biwis absence LOL

5-raman misunderstanding wt had to be given to that man who came to collect dentures n instead thought ishita was talking about something else Wink

All the scenes r amazing n ones that r combined with romance r the best.

About myself - According to a twitty - twat from One-who-gets-riled-easily, I am an IDIOT and a FOOL and part of the unemployment statistic of India.

In reality, I am smart, independent & sanskaari (well almost) gal who needs therapy for her desi-soap OCD.

Hooked on to the show - Well one fine day I switched on the TV & caught IshRa making love. Lolz, ok maybe they were making hate. Hell, the chemistry was the same. 9 months later I checked to find myself stuck in Saut-land *hmmph*.

2. Who is your favourite character on the show?

Let's see ...
RKB when he's not drinking towards a sure liver failure or crying his eyes out. Err scratch that, this rarely happens.
Ishita when she's not being Mahaan or irritating. Scratch this too, it rarely happens.

Guess I'll go with Vibhu coz 'least his cuteness is consistent.

3. Being a regular topic maker where sarcasm and humour are always "today's menu", is there any crazy instance where you and members had a field day laughing literally your ass off?

Lolz at the "regular" 😆.
Let's see ... i remember the shower that wet every member in this forum with gutter. That certainly was loaded with morning glory's & towels.
My personal fave is --- when we had RKB dying of a heart attack & Mani channeling his Aatma. That day Mani sang RKB's one liners to woo Ishita (& to think this was a Ser-Pint thread 😲).

Oh and when an entire kos-pint was to band-bajao the One-who-cannot-be-criticised twit the first time he twatted. Beat that on twitter aSs ji.

I am a engineer from Mumbai basically a sports fan and this is only my 2nd show and as far as yhm goes I started watching as my earlier favourite show nbt had ended and hence casually started watching yhm and then got hooked due to storyline and as far as forum goes again after nbt forum ended I casually started posting here and then found few friends and hence have been here ever since

2. Being a regular topic maker, are there any particular members whose POV, insights...you really look forward to?

I don't look forward to anyone else take on show as I don't agree with pseudo intellectual analysis going around here and instead wait for my friends who are regular on my threads as there wavelengths match with mine

3. Who is your favourite character on the show?

I used to be a big fan of Ishita earlier but now I don't like her anymore and if I had to really answer your question then I would say pervert mainly for anurag acting

1. Tell us a bit about yourself and how you got hooked to YHM the show and YHM the forum.

I live in London and work in technology. I am fickle-minded and faint-hearted 😳. I love listening to music and gathering information about musicians, lyrics, the history of the songs I listen to. But I cannot sing 😭 If I tell you anything more I'd have to kill you 😉😆

I LOVE TV shows, but I am into American drama (crime & legal mostly) and comedy shows. Over last year's Christmas break, I started looking for some serials to watch, and went through quite a few before I discovered YHM. YHM stuck with me for the single reason that I could identify with almost everything (characters, story and the plot) and appreciated the lack of 'soapiness'. I came back to I-F to just discuss the show and see video updates etc.

2. Who is your favourite character on the show?

Raman 😃

3. Being such an amazing fiction writer/story teller, what/who inspire you to write so beautifully? And what is your personal favourite in your index?

Awww.. Thank you, that is really a huge compliment!

I got inspired by the extremely realisitic but opposing natures of Raman and Ishita. They are portrayed excellently by the actors and it just became easier to write for them. I don't have one story as a favourite, but I guess everything I wrote under the 'Rambling' series is slightly more special because of the way I wrote the pieces.

4. This forum is full of talented writers, is there any particular one shot or story on IshRa which really amazed you?

Honestly, there is not one story that I wasn't amazed with. I am not just saying that, but I feel very good when I see so many stories, and each writer has a different style, different plot. I am amazed by the variety of writing we have on this forum!

But of all the things I have read, I have three that are most memorable

- There was an OS that Aani did about Ishita breaking down in the middle of the night after she returns to the Bhalla house after the first Param fiasco. I still remember the way it shook me up when I read it the first time.

- Of all the stories Vidya wrote, the one that I won't forget even if I try to, is Jee Le Zara. The characters are so clearly etched out that it could be made into a movie or a full length novel.

- Uz used to write Mirror stories. These were abstract pieces and I am a sucker for abstract writing. I loved EACH one of them.

Now how about some special creative questions for our creative members on this happy occasion.😃 Let us see what answers they have for us. Here we go!!

1. As you know the IshRa confession is just a matter of days...or...weeks...or months...or whateverLOL, but tell us what acccessories do you think Ishita should take along with her on her honeymoon with Raman?

Paru:

The "Weapon of Future" which would destroy RKB's brahmacharya has not been invented coz its not year 2020 yet. Though I would advice Ishita to borrow Simmy's fully functional brain for that one day.

Lucky:

Now I know why you called me amazing/gifted and all 😈 😆

Seriously, how honestly do you want me to answer this question? 😆

I think Ishita should take Bhagwad Gita on her honeymoon because it is clear she would say chee to anything rkb tries so she can past her time by giving pravachan

2. Now everybody is crazy about The hotness personified Raman Kumar Bhalla.Suppose you become the RKB for one day. Which forum member would you like to choose as you Jhansi ki Rani?

Paru:

If I was RKB ... would get rid of my facial hair explosion, find my CEO brain and check if my business still exists. Oops I digressed ... err practical mind kicked in. Hmmm ... my G -Gang gals who are all smart & witty JKR's unto themselves.

And to those who say it can't be more than one girl, well its not like RKB kisi ek ke saath bhi kuch karne wala hai 😛

Well who would I want as jkr if I turned into rkb

You can atleast write and read awesome stories haha

I would choose Ash (RisingAsh). Ours would be a very competitive and interesting relationship 😆 (And I would like to say sorry to Sia. I didn't mean to break her heart. I still love her forever❤️)

3. The RKB turns his JKR's slave for one day. Now we all know Ishita is more Duffer ki Rani and may not know exactly how to use this golden opportunity to the max. What proposal/advice do you have for Ishita on how to spend the day as Raman's "aakaa (master)" and what to ask Raman to do?

Paru:

1. Shave
2. Set fire to his stock of glycerine
3. Kiss the hell outta sexy wife
4. Break Brahmacharya ka bandhan & unravel the secrets behind kapde-ki-thaan.
(the last 3 not necessarily in the same order)

Leo:

Well if Raman were to become ishita slave
I would advice ishita to ask Raman to talk in shudh Hindi entire day and perhaps cook food for her

Lucky:

OK... so in this scenario I am not RKB from the earlier question no??? 😲 It would be too weird to answer then 😆

Ishita's instruction to Raman should be to say something nice to her when he really wants to taunt her with a caustic one-liner. and to test his patience, she should do the following:

- Take Raman to the mall, and shop. While shopping, she should try on different clothes (absolutely horrible ones) and ask him for his opinion

On the way to and from the mall, she should put on Carnatic music and sing along (this would be real fun if Ishita were tone-deaf like me 😆)

- She should cook real Tamil food (not just idli, dosa, sambar but typical Tamil delicacies that are not very famous, and need some getting used to) and ask him for feedback

- She should make him go to office in a veshti and angavastram. Sunglasses optional

- She should call Bala jiju or Vandu and tell them how nice Raman has been to her the whole day... obviously in his presence

4. RKB is well known for his one liners. What one liner will you say if you wake up one day and find the following person besides you

- Mihir --- Pleej to go easy on the hair gel especially if there's a "rasam" scheduled today.

- Mrs Iyer ---- *Shriek*... W*F $%&%@#@

- Ashok --- Are you gonna stalk RKB again today?

- Mani --- Is that ... happy? Sad? W*F? Boundless Joy? Ok I givvup. What is that expression?

- Ruhi - Awww 😳
