Dino gets hot and sweaty

Morea talks about his films and ways to keep fit Model-turned-actor Dino Morea is looking forward to three films this year. Also, the actor is on a weight-shedding spree it seems, to look fitter than ever before

You have lost weight and look much fitter now

I haven't lost too much, but the lean look makes one feel that I've shed the pounds. I play basketball and football at American School once a week.

In case I miss either of the games due to shoots, I hit the gym. I have a punching bag at home too. Twenty minutes of non-stop workout with that makes me feel good.

Which are your forthcoming films?

Anant Mahadevan's Anamika, Nari Hira's Bhram, Sanjay Gupta's Dus Kahaniyan (Sex on the Beach). Plus, I am doing Samir Karnik's Mera Bharat Mahan (MBM) where I have a cameo with Mithunda. I play his son, who is an army officer. He gets killed on the border. I am very excited about Samir's film. I have just returned from the shoot in Ladakh. Salman Khan, Preity Zinta, Sunny Deol and Bobby Deol have cameos in the film.

How was your interaction with Mithun?

I know him from the time I shot for Mahesh Bhatt's Raaz years ago. We were shooting at his hotel in Ooty. He is a wonderful human being. We even celebrated his birthday on the sets. But the MBM shoot was my first professional interaction with him.

Are you happy with the way Anamika and Bhram have turned out?

Completely. Both are romantic films. Against popular conception, Bhram is not about a love triangle. I don't know why two guys and a girl should always make a triangle. Milind (Soman) plays my elder brother in the film.

Does Sex on the Beach have steamy scenes between you and Tarina Patel?

Wait and watch. Apoorva Lakhia (director) and Sanjay Gupta (producer) have asked me not to disclose anything at this point. The film has been shot in Goa and is about how I meet a girl on a beach (Tarina) and what happens after that! Don't ask me more. Watch it and enjoy.
