Salman Khan's youngest sister, Arpita Khan's wedding promises to be the full- fledged, quintessential Bollywood potboiler with ample twists and turns and a hopeful happy ending.
Today the who's who of B- Town and others from every walk of life will head to Hyderabad for the nuptials of Arpita Khan and Ayush Sharma at the Falaknuma Palace in Hyderabad. While it promises to be a grand affair, it also promises to unite the three Khans together after what seems like an eternity.
Aamir being very close to Salman will definitely attend the wedding and Shah Rukh has already confirmed his presence at the wedding when he said that he didn't even need an official invitation to go for Arpita's wedding as he considers her a younger sister.
Salman and Shah Rukh's families have always been close and the latter will definitely attend Arpita's wedding.
An industry insider reveals how the wedding will be the perfect opportunity for the three of them to get together. " In 2009, the three of them came face to face at the premiere of Aamir Khan's 3 Idiots. Though Aamir was spotted posing for pictures with Salman and Shah Rukh separately, the trio refused to get clicked in the same frame together.
Ditto in 2011 at legendary actor Dilip Kumar's 89th birthday bash.
Along with the entire industry, the three Khans were present at the event but chose to arrive and leave at separate times, without leaving any scope for any pictures together.
After that, the three actors haven't really been at the same event, let alone pose for pictures together. While Aamir and Shah Rukh have met separately and so have Salman and SRK, no one actually remembers the last time the three of them came together.
Arpita's wedding seems like the perfect occasion for the three of them to reunite and bury the hatchet once and for all. There have been lots of occasions in the past where a lot of people have tried to do the same but haven't been successful," says our source.
Two days before the wedding today, at the mehendi ceremony, it was mini- reunion of sorts when Salman and SRK got together and shared a moment together when they posed together for the cameras.
The two even posed for pictures together outside the actor's residence when Salman got out of the building to see off the actor on Sunday evening.

Haldi- Sangeet
The Khan khandaan is celebrating a wedding after almost 16 years and preparations are on in full swing. Arpita's Haldi and Mehendi ceremony took place amidst close family members and friends on Sunday. Reportedly, Arpita's best friend Katrina sizzled on popular dance numbers. The Khan Brothers too made the ceremony a grand affair with their performances.
The entire Khan family was present to perform the traditional ritual that happened at Salman's Galaxy apartment in Bandra on Sunday. The main attraction of the ceremony was Shah Rukh Khan who came and gave his blessings to the brideto- be Arpita.
SRK came late on Sunday night and hugged Salman and Arpita. The duo hugged each other at several other functions but this was quite an emotional moment for Salman. The duo forgot their enmity and posed like two big brothers of Arpita and then they even posed for the shutterbugs. The Sangeet that took place last night at Hyderabad was a blast.

The Khan family has invited everyone including their friends from the industry and the crme de la crme from the political and business world.
Salman took everyone by surprise when he personally met the Prime Minister, Narendra Modi to invite him for the wedding with his younger sister Alvira. However, the latter expressed his regret as he would be away for a three- nation tour.
Invitations have been sent out to Big B and the Bachchans and SRK and while the Bachchan's are yet to confirm their presence at the wedding, SRK and wife Gauri are likely to make it to the wedding.
Salman's close friend Aamir will also be in attendance with wife Kiran Rao and invites have also been sent out to others like Hrithik Roshan, Deepika Padukone, Saif Ali Khan and Kareena Kapoor, Karan Johar, David Dhawan and his sons Varun and Rohit.
Salman has made sure he invited his friends from the south as well. Chiranjeevi and son Ram Charan Teja, Nagarjuna, Venkatesh are amongst the few people who will be attending the wedding in Hyderabad.
Gifts
Arpita has received her first gift on Sunday when Shah Rukh and Salman met each other like her big brothers and there's still more. Reportedly, SRK gave her a special gift hamper while Salman has gifted Arpita a 3BHK flat to the tune of Rs 16 crore and a terrace garden flat at Carter Road in Bandra. While the Khan's house staff have gifted her a special gift for her new beginning, Aprita has received an idol of Radha Krishna from the staff.
