Dadi is upset b'coz of Maan's attitude...

Though she had expected this reaction from Maan, she is only worried about Geet, what would she think seeing Maan's anger?

Geet has been watching Maan from the balcony...she was waiting for him to leave so that she could come and have her breakfast...she is really hangry...

She is shocked to see Maan getting angry with his own dadi...he should at least respect her age...

Kaise aadmi hai ye? Koi apnon se aaise gussa kartha hai kya? aur dadi chahe kitne bhi galat ho, woh toh umar mein kitne bade hai? Geet too feels bad for dadi...

How could she live alone with this man? That's why she is desperate to find someone for company?

Even she is not happy with dadi's decision...

Dadi finds Geet staring the entrance, Maan has just left...

Dadi: hare Geet bte, aap humme paraya kyun samajthe ho? hum toh aapke apne hi hai

Geet: lekhin mein ne toh aapko pehle kabhi dekha hi nahi

Dadi: agar hum kehthe hai aapke janam hi hummare samne hi hua toh kya aap ko yakheen hotha?

Geet is so surprised...

Dadi continues to surprise her...

Dadi: aur pehle ek mahene tak aap hummare paas hi the, kya aap maan sakthe ho ki aapko bachpan mein humne hi ek maa ki tarah pala posha tha

Actually Geet doesn't know anything about her childhood...she has heard her mausi say that her mother passed away while giving birth to her and that her mausi has adopted her as her own daughter...

Geet: par mausi ne kaha ki meri maa mujhe janam dethe dethe mar gayi, toh aap mere maa ko jaanthe ho?

This is the first time Geet is hearing about her birth...she only knew that she is being brought up by her mausi as her mother died...

Dadi: haan bte, hum bhi Hoshiarpur ki log hi hai, jab hummare bte aur bahu Maan aur unke bade bhai Vicky ko chodke chale gaye humme yaha aana pada, aur hum Ranno ko bahut achche se jaanthe hai

Ranno is Geet's mother...

Geet's eyes wet hearing her mother's name...

Geet has heard her mausi saying that she is just like her mother...

Dadi: aapke maa bahut achchi hai, woh apne betiyon ko bhut pyaar karthi thi, bas aapke dadi ko hi shikayat thi ki Ranno ne do do betiyon ki janam diya hai, unko toh sirf beta chahiye thi

Geet gets angry with her dadi now...toh aaisi baat hai? issiliye usski nalayak beta bhi usske tarah hi hai...

Dadi: aapke dadi ke jaane ke badh Ranno phir se pregnant ho gayi, aur Mohinder chahatha tha ki iss bar zaroor beta hoga, kissi sadu ne kaha tha, issiliye itne saalon ke badh tummare maa ko phir se maa banna pada, bechari toh bahut kamzoor thi, tummare nikambe papa toh hamesha doston ke saath pithe hi rehtha tha

Aur uss raat bhi woh pi pikke behosh ho gaya tha...

Ranno bahut dard mein thi...aur woh hummare paas aagayi...

Mein aur Lalaji Ranno ko apne gadhi mein shehar ke hospital lekhe gaye, aur wahan aap ko janam dethe hi Ranno aapko iss duniya mein akhele chodke chale gayi

Dadi is also in tears remembering that unfortunate incident...

Dr ne kaha ki bachi bahut weak hai aur ussko ek hafte tak hospital mein rakhna padega...

Aur hum aapke saath hospital mein hi rukh gaye...

Aap toh tab bhi aaise hi thi, bahut pyaari si, chulbuli si...

Hum ko toh aapko aapke papa ke paas chodne ki himmat nahi thi...

Hum jaathe ki woh aapko bhi aapki maa ke paas bhej dega...

Dadi gets very angry mentioning about Mohinder...

Geet is happy that Dadi knows very well about her family...specially her mother...

Humne toh sab se saaf saaf keh diya ki ab Geet hummari pothi hai...

Mohinder ne bahut koshish ki, aapko hum se cheenne ki...

Aur kissi ki bhi himmat nahi Lalaji ka samne karne ki...

Dadi is so proud of dadaji...

Phir aapki mausi aake aapko apnaya tha...Rajjo bhi Ranno ki tarah bahut hi achchi hi...haina?

Dadi: issiliye jab uss din munshiji ne aapke barein mein bathaya tha hum apne aapko rokh nahi paye, hum foren Hoshiarpur chale aagaye

A week before...at KM...

Dadi is waiting for Maan...Maan has some urgent meeting and Nakul has already set the table for breakfast...Maan mostly skips his breakfast in such times, so Dadi is here to make sure he eats his food...

Munshi: ye paise Pinky ki shadhi ke liye nahi, kissi aur ki shadhi ko rokhne ke liye hai

Dadi: munshiji, aap ko patha haina? Kissi ki shadhi ko thodna bahut badi paap hai

Munshi: par ye shadhi hothi toh woh usse bhi bada paap hoga

Dadi: aap ko kya ho gaya hai? mujhe kuch bhi samaj mein nahi aatha

Munshi breaks down...

Dadi is also worried...

Munshi: mujhe kissi bhi kimat mein iss shadhi ko rokhna hi padega, Ranno ke liye nahi toh bhi kam se kam Geet ke liye toh mujhe ye kaam zaroor karna hoga

Dadi: kya kaha aapne? Geet?

Munshiji: haan dadiji, wahi Geet, hummare Ranno ki beti

Ranno is Munshi's cousin...

Dadi: Geet ki shadhi? Lekhin woh bhi Pinky ke umar ke hi hogi, itne badi ho gayi hai kya?
