As Dadi goes back to her past memories of Hoshiarpur, she gets upset...

Munshiji knows everything about dadi...he waits for Dadi...

Dadi: woh...Geet ab itni badi ho gayi?

Munshiji: haan dadiji, Geet aur Pinky ek hi umar ke hai, aur mere liye toh Geet bhi Pinky ki tarah ek beti hi hai, issilie mein usske saath ye nainsaafi hone nahi de saktha

Dadi: aap jaldhi bathayiye, Geet ko kya hua?

Munshi: dadiji, aap uss Mohinder ko jaanthe haina? Ek no ka kamina hai woh

Dadi: haan humme patha hai, kuch zyada hi pitha hai

Munshi: Mohinder ne uss lalachi Mandeep se thoda thoda karke 2 lakh ki uthar liya hai, ab woh 2 lakh badhkar 5 lakh ho gayi, ab uss karche ko chukane ke liye uss budde kamine se Geet ki shadhi karwane ki vada kiya hai uss ullu ke patte ne, aur toh aur uss 50 saal ke budde ki shadhi ki umar ki 3 3 jawan bete bhi hai

Dadi: lekhin ye toh bahut galat hai

Munshiji: haan dadiji, aap pehle mujhe 5 lakh dedijiye, mere paas waqt bahut kam hai, mujhe aaj hi Hoshiarpur jaana hoga

When Geet got to know about this she first revolted against this marriage...

But that cunning Mohinder went to Amritsar and started accusing her mausi's family for kidnapping his daughter and not letting her to come with him...he even threatened to file a complaint at the police station that they have forcefully taken away his daughter from him...he told Geet that if she is not going to agree for the wedding he will put her uncle and aunty behind the bars...

Geet got frightened as she did not want her uncle and aunty to be ashamed...she is very grateful for all they have done for her, for raising her as their own daughter and loving her more than their own children, Lucky and teji...her uncle was not willing to let her go...he didn't want Geet to suffer...but he didn't have the money to give Mohinder...

Moreover that old fox Mandeep had political links and also friendship with the gundas...

He could do anything to her mausi's family to blackmail Geet, Geet is not ready to put them in trouble...and Teji is also not here, he has gone to his duty in the army...he is a jawaan...Lucky is too young...

Munshiji calls dadi and tells what happened...

Dadi: kya hua munshiji? Geet teek haina? Aap unko yaha lekhe aayiye

Munshi: nahi dadiji, mujhe nahi lagtha ki ab hum iss shadhi ko rokh sakthe

Dadi: what? aap aaise kaise keh sakthe?

Munshi tells what happened...

Dadi: hummare hothe hue hummari Geet ko kuch nahi hoga, hum abhi paise lekhe aathe hai, aap tayaar rahiye, humme jaise bhi ye shadhi ko rokhna padega, chahe toh hum police ki madat bhi lethe hai

Munshi: usski koi faida nahi hai, yahan sab uss budde ke chamche hi hai

Dadi: hum bhi dekhthe hai ki kisski himmat hai humme rokhne ki, hum Lalaji ki pathni hai, kash aaj Lalaji hothe

Dadi immediately calls Maan to send her cash...

Maan: par dadima, meinne cheque dediya haina?

Dadi: Maan bte, hum aapko badh mein sab samjaadenge, humme abhi hoshiarpur jaana padega, hum abhi nikalthe hai, hum KC aake cash lethe hai

Dadi's sounds worried...Maan is also worried for dadi...

Maan: dadima, ye lijiye, 10 lakh

Dadi: par humne toh sirf 5 lakh manga tha

Maan: mujhe laga ki aap koi zaroori kaam ke liye jaa rahe hai, issiliye toh meinne socha ki zyada paison ki zaroorat padhi toh

Dadi: very well bte, ye apne bahut achcha kiya, toh hum chalthe hai, munshiji humaara intrezaar karthe honge

Maan: par dadima, aap ko kyun jaana hai, Adi haina? Woh paise lekhe jaayega

Dadi: nahi bte, ye hummare personnel problem hai, humme kudh jaana padega

Maan: lekhin dadima, mein aapko akhele kaise jaane de saktha?

Dadi: hum koi bache thodi nahi

Maan: mein bhi aapke saath aatha hoon, chaliye

Dadi: humne bhi yahi socha tha, humme aapki zaroorat padegi, woh log samajthe kya apne aapko? Lalaji nahi hai toh unka potha haina? MSK

Moreover Maan thinks that it's a waste of money spending so much for a wedding, and on top of it this dowry...Maan gets angry right away but keeps his cool for dadi's sake...

Munshiji had been waiting for dadi...he comes to receive dadi...

He had also called the sarpanch and told about dadi's arrival with the money...

Dadi gives the money to sarpanchji...

Sarpanchji bows his head in shame...he is so powerless...

Sarpanch: aap sahi kehthe hai Savithriji, Lalaji ke jaane ke badh toh yahan sab kuch badal gaya, aur aajkal inn kaminon ka raaj hi chaltha, koi unko kuch nahi kar sakthe, mein bhi

Sharpanch is ashamed of himself...

He calls Mandeep and his sons to hand over the money...

But they start arguing that it's all over now and no one can stop the marriage...

Dadi even tries to convince them by giving them double the money...but this doesn't seem to se working...this man is after Geet and not the money...kamina...
