Now Time for some Intro and the First part just to give you readers the flavour of it-
Hello every one.
This is a new ff which I am writing along with my friend who you may know as meggs. This is mutual ff and some parts will be posted by me and some by her.
well...one thing sp about this fic is that it is already being posted with the same name but that fic is on Sujal-Kashish...and this fic I am posting on Maneet ..my another fav couple...we want to apologise before hand for any future mistakes..and we hope we all Maneet fans would like and comment on the fic
This is quite different from any ff's I have written due to the dark and questionable pasts of the characters.
We hope you all enjoy this ff and give us lot of comments.
We are posting a story and char intro right now, the first past will be posted after that. Enjoy.
INTRO
The jaded prince
Maan Singh Khurana was a rich, respected, coveted and feared man with black jaded eyes and a past. To say that life had been cruel to him or that he had a hard childhood would be an understatement.
He rose from the depths of poverty, crime, abuse and slavery and became the prince. The prince of his business empire second to none, feared and revered by men. In his dark days he promised himself absolute luxury, absolute freedom, absolute power so that he may never have to bow before anyone again. He was the jaded prince who had sworn of women for life.
Geet Handa had everything a girl could dream about while growing up family, friends and love. It was all taken away in an instant of foolish youthful impulse. Fallen from grace, shunned by society, rejected by family there was only beak weary future ahead of her.
What would happen when the jaded prince would end up getting married to this fallen paragon?
Each struggling with their own insecurities, false prejudices, jaded pasts and bleak futures, bridging the difference in their class, values and morals; would they make it?
~*~
We are describing only major characters for now. We will add to the list as the story progresses.
~CHARACTERS~
Maan Singh Khurana : the handsome jaded prince. Orphaned at 10 yrs of age, little of his life story is known till he reached the age of 22 and worked hard to become the well known, successful businessman. He doesn't hate women, he just wishes they didn't exist in his sphere of living.
Geet Handa : the simple, your girl next door, who had everything and life took it all away so she can get married to Maan Singh Khurana.
Mamaji : Maan's mama the man who made it all happen but for his own nefarious reasons.
Chapter 1
Rules of chastity
Geet sat on the big unadorned double bed, making an inventory of the item in the room a hundredth time. A table, chair, single sofa, 1 window with deep blue curtains, white walls, expensive oak cupboard doors[which she hadn't dared to look inside], a door to bathroom, a big double bed with a deep blue spread and surprisingly a dressing table with a small matched small stool.
Of what glimpse she had while being rushed into this room and after observing the contents of this room the gilded dressing table stood like a wolf in a herd of sheep. It was the only thing feminine in the strongly masculine environment. The house and room of her husband Maan Singh Khurana, who would shortly come and claim his husbandly rights. Geet shivered at the thought and looked around again to divert her mind. There wasn't much else she could think about.
The present was scary, future most certainly bleak [from what little she had seen of her husband] and the past..Geet winced at the thought and quickly shut that door in her mind. It wouldn't do to reminisce about the past if she wanted any happiness again. But then even the present wasn't so promising. Somewhere a clock chimed and Geet saw that it was 11 pm shivering a little she thought about her wedding earlier in the afternoon. Trying to tell herself that future may not be as bad as she was predicting, but hardly convincing herself.
12.55 pm same day [flash back]
Geet and her distant relative waited inside the judge's chambers for the groom to arrive. The time had been set 1pm and there was no sign of the groom. Her relative was sending her murderous look as if the groom's not showing up was her fault. But how could it be? When she had never met him before? When she didn't even know his full name?
Geet glanced nervously at the wall clock 12.56
Maybe he just got caught up in the traffic. Geet thought trying to be optimistic towards a marriage and future she didn't want.
12.57
Maybe they got a flat tire.. That must be it! He would have been planning to be here half an early o we can meet and talk, but he got a flat so he is delayed.
12.58
Maybe he got two flats and bad traffic. Infact a traffic jam and the mechanic was out and he didn't have 2 spares.
12.59
Who am I kidding? Geet chided herself. He probably heard everything about me and finally decided to not show up... after all with my current reputation why would he bother to even inform forehand?
Geet closed her eyes and waited for the clock to chime 1.00 pm but that sound got superimposed by the sound of the door opening and strong male baritone saying, "We are not late. Stop fidgeting."
Geet snapped open eyes and looked up, straightening her spine at face to whom the voice belonged too. Oh my god! Her breath had stilled and her world had tilted for a few seconds while her to be husband strode in and gracefully dropped into the chair next to her. He gave a curt nod to her relative and then to the judge. He didn't even spare her a glance.
Geet wondered what was going on. Surely he couldn't be it. This couldn't be the man who had agreed to marry her. Why would he want to marry me?! With his perfectly chiseled profile and his rich deep voice he could marry the president's daughter if he wants. Why me?
Geet gave him side long glances trying to make sense of anything at all. He was wealthy from the way he was dressed, he was well educated from the way he spoke and behaved. His manner was absolutely commanding and formidable. And he had a face for which women got implants and Botox shots, to impress and seduce. So why me?
Geet snapped off her thoughts as the judge extended the paper for her to sign. Maan Singh Khurana. So it means she's now Geet Maan Singh Khurana.
Geet Khurana... Geet rolled the words in her mouth deliberately not looking at the clock. He was punctual to the second's hand of the clock. He said he would come by 11.15. It was already 11.10 did it mean he was in the house? Did he have his dinner? Kashish wondered remembering how quickly and efficiently he had handled all the proceedings and then ushered her into hi waiting car zapped her here. Once inside equally quickly and efficiently, with bare minimum use of words he had ushered her upstairs into this room and told her to remain here till he was back by 11.15 tonight [which is now]. The food had been delivered by a maid who was strangely tight lipped about all questions Kashish had asked.
Sneaking a glance at the clock Geet heard the door to the room open as the clock struck 11.15.
Geet fisted her hands on the bed sheet and drew up her knees close to her chest. No matter how handsome he was and what she had done in her past, he had been cold as arctic winds through out everything and she didn't jump into beds with people with just a handsome face. No she didn't jump into bed period.
Geet thought resolutely as her heartbeat skyrocketed. She saw him move around oozing sensuality and grace through lowered lashes. Had he been anyone famous, every girl would have had his poster in her bedroom.
Maan moved to closet and took out cloths to change into and went inside the bathroom. He was still wearing the formal business suit he had worn o the wedding, and he smelled of alcohol. Geet tensed at as the smell hit her and restrained herself from running out of the room. No matter what he is how he is. He is it. Now he is my future. If I mess this, then maybe what everyone says about me is indeed right.
5 minutes later he came out hair dripping water from a quick bath in a grey Tee and black lowers. He pulled up the chair near the table and sat down on it facing Geet. What? Is this some sort of endurance test first?
"You are Geet?" he said looking straight at into her eyes for the first time. Geet repressed a sudden shiver. For everything he was, now she understood why he wasn't on poster in every girl's room. It was his eyes. Utter Black, cold cynical chips of ice, devoid of any warmth or emotion. Eyes, that no human could possibly have.
Geet nodded, her dread growing with every passing second.
"I am Maan Singh Khurana. You can call me Maan. This is my house, my mama also lives downstairs. I don't like many rooms so I don't have a guest room and we will be sharing this one." He went one as if he was reciting all alphabets from a to z.
But Geet nodded again. Although she was numb with fear and anxiety, she managed to nod.
"I work from 8 am to late hours at night. You can do whatever you want, but you will be back in this room at 7.30 sharp each night. No exceptions. I'll set up a bank account for you to use. Buy whatever you want, I don't want to be bothered."
Geet slowly let of the bunched sheet in her fist and hooked her arms around her knees. Her movement caught her eyes as he dipped his glance to take in her whole figure. Probably the first time he was even seeing her, maybe not finding her pleasing enough coz a smallest hint of frown occurred between his eyes and his eyes flared with resentment.
"Don't mistake my cordialness for anything other than common courtesy. I don't care for relationships, but it was time I got married. I do not have nay feeling for you nor will I ever have in future. I will give you due respect of being my wife and see to your needs. I will not cheat on you or use you wrongly. I expect the same, although it may be hard for a woman. So if you are involved with anyone I suggest we apply for divorce and you can leave. Or if I find you ever having an affair in future, again I will give you a divorce with no alimony." Maan spoke in clam tone which sent chills towards Geet's spine.
Did the man feel anything? Was he just a pretty shell? Not cheat on me.. Use me wrongly? What is he talking about? Why would it be difficult for me to remain true to him?
Geet was too frozen up to even nod at Maan this time, she simply blinked her huge doe shaped eyes at him once.
"Anything you want to ask about?"
Geet opened her mouth but nothing came out. What could she not ask about? Why marry me? What happens at 7.30 pm? Does he know about my past? Why is he angry with me? Is he even angry? Does he even feel anything?
What should she ask first?
"Good then." Maan said seconds later getting up from the chair. Since she hadn't spoken he had assumed this was it. Moving around the room he switched on the bedside lamp and switched off the main light then came to stand next to be where Geet was sitting stiffly. Once again Geet's heart jumped to her throat as he approached the bed. He looked so resentful that Geet wasn't sure what he may do if she made one small mistake.
"Move over." He said, his eyebrows bunching up into a slight frown again.
Geet squeaked and scrambled to the other edge of the bed, strangely it seemed to satisfy him just fine as he gave her a nod and lied down on his side of the bed and switching off the night lamp. Minutes later Geet heard his breath deepen and after an hour of waiting tensely in the same crouched position, she was reassured that he was definitely asleep and her wedding night was to be remembered through the set of rules he had laid down for her.
Now, this is the recent part I posted...I have already posted the link for the previous part...Please click on that for the parts
PART 182
Shekhar was sitting next to Geet... jab Maan distracted tha he asked ki
Shekhar- What is Sheetal spewing about? Maan ke past mein koi problem hai kya?
G-Problem? Bhaiya...ap Sheetal ko jaante ho naa
Shekhar-Jaanta hoon par...tune maa ko bhi kuch nahi bataya jab maa ne tujse poocha...Sheetal even said he's a murderer...Geet... what is going on? He may be a big man but he can't force you to go back with him if he is harassing you...tum yahin ruk jao agar koi bhi problem hai
Bhai whispers to Geet and wahan Maan has started dumping food from his plate to aas paas ki saaliyon ki plate mein...mil baantke khane se pyaar badhta hai...
G-Aisa hota to main aap logon se kyun chupati. Aap dekh rahe hain naa...Maan kitna acha hai
Shekhar gives frown not ready to let it rest.
Shekhar-Khane ke baad mujhe milna room mein
Wahan saaliyaan have finally stopped dumping more food aur maa bhi sabki daant laga rahi hai ki kya gand macha rakhi hai...Maan ki bhi daant pad gayi.. ki
Ma-Aap bhi inke sath shaamil ho liye... ye hai hi aise aap ko bhi bigaad denge
Maan bechara saaliyoon ke beech fasa hua hai
Ab finally dinner khatam hota hai
Saaliyaan were organizing some kind of game aur Geet ko alag team mein kar diya
Wahan Sheetal comment maar rahi thi
Sheetal-Meri to koi sunn hi nahi raha hai. Aap logon ko baat samajh kyon nahi aati. How could you all leave your daughters around him like that?
Tab Geet kae father raises his voice-
Father-Sheetal! Bohot ho gaya. Kuch kehna hai to saaf saaf kaho warna chali jao sone, tum bohot thak gai ho
Geet looks at Sheetal then at Maan
Maan looks as if nothing can touch him or bother him
Sheetal gives a a poisonous triumphant look and sab ugal deti hai ki Maan killed his father in fit of rage then got into juvi, wahan kisi ne isse adopt nahi kiya aur ab jab ye 16 ka hua...
G-BASSS!!!! BASSS KARO SHEETAL
Sheetal- Maine koi jhoot nahi kaha hai. Agar kaha hota to ye khooni chup nahi hota
She says pointing to Maan
Sheetal-Am I right or not?
She asks Maan
G-MAAN KOI KHOONI NAHI HAI. JO USNE KIYA ...SELF DEFENCE KIA
Maan goes and keeps his hand on Geet's back
M-Shhh
He whispers in her ear then aloud he says
M-I was quiet coz no one asked me anything...unlike you, I don't speak until people want to listen to me
Shekhar looks at Maan and Geet and how Maan is touching Geet. They can see he is trying to comfort her lekin usne defend bhi nahi kiya ki usne murder kiya hai and Geet to nadaan hai sab badon ki opinion mein
Geet is shaking with anger...looking at Sheetal
Maa is standing mouth open then she closes it and says
Ma-Bas Sheetal chup! Tumhe kuch nai pata hai, ye sab koi galat fehmi hai. Maan can't harm a soul. Aur kuch nahi sunna hai humein
Geet's father-self defense?
Geet looks at dad
Dad is looking at Geet and then at Maan switching his questioning eyes between two of them
Shekhar- Maan...tum...ye log jo keh rahe hain... is there any truth in it?
Maan looks once more at Geet for confirmation. He had said he would lie and he had meant it
Geet looks at Maan
G-Main bataungi ya tum bataoge?
Maan smiles at Geet ki jaise usne koi joke mara ho and then shakes his head...at the absurdity of the situation. He never thought his father could haunt him from his grave but apparently he can
G- My father was an alcoholic and he had several sessions of rage when the alcohol wasn't enough or something irritated him...say a shoe lying in his path. My mother suffered a lot .By the time I was 10 he was very violent during his rages. One night he was about to kill my mother... coz she wouldn't do something he demanded...he had belted her already...he was down to smacking her head. So I decided it was up to me to save her
Geet holds his hand lovingly
M-Earlier if I did anything he would come back with double anger... I decided that double of that would be hell so I ended it. There was a stick; I hit him till...till he never got up. The judge had some sympathy. But my other became very sick, she couldn't account for me. So I got sent temporarily to juvenile detention centre. But she died few months later due to those injuries and they had no option but to keep me there permanently.
Geet's eyes are brimming with tears
M- I got out when I was 16 with no police records and became...
She holds his hand tight
M-Became self-employed...
She looks at him and he squeezes her hand back
M-That's all. If you want more details...
He smiles...me up here you down there... wali... Prince style full of arrogance...make Geet happy if they want to know.. warna bhaad mein jao kyun bataye wo uske lagte kaun hain
M-If you all want more details...you'll have to earn them
G-Sunn liya aap logon ne? Pata nahi log mere Maan ke peeche kyun pade hue hain [she glares at Sheetal]
Sheetal looks away disgusted
Maa too has some tears in her eyes and on her cheek. She walks up to them and puts hand on Maan's shoulder. She doesn't have words but her eyes are brimming with tears. She heard the longing in Maan's voice whenever he said 'my mother'. Finally she manages to say-
Ma-Iss ghar mein... nahi... mere liye... mere liye tum aur Geet hamesha mere bachche ho...iss ghar mein...
Maa looks sad
Ma-Iss ghar mein meri chalti nahi hai...par tum mere liye mere bete se kam nahi ho
Geet looks at Maa, holds her arm
Maan swallows...he wasn't really expecting ki Ma bhi ab usse accept karegi
G-Maa...you are the best...
Maaa smiles at both of them
Ma-Tumhari jodi bhi best hai
Geet gives a big ear to ear grin
Maan also manages smile
Ab Maa dono ko bhaga deti hai ki
Ma- Jao bohot ho gaya, so jao
Maan and Geet head towards their room
Sheetal Maan ke jaane ke baad kit kit karti hai ki...
Sheetal-That's just Maan's version. Who would believe him?
But Geet ki party wale log give her a cold disapproving stare and leave
As Maan and Geet reach the room
Geet shuts the door
Maan walks in the room and stands near the window looking out
G-Cough*
To get his attention
M-How did you manage to get a sore throat?
He says not turning around
She walks to him and hugs him from back
He keeps his hands over hers which are knotted on his stomach
M -No sore throat then huh?
She smiles
M-You think your family is ok? They all looked badly shocked. Should we call some ambulance in advance?
She giggles
G-I am sorry about Sheetal's behavior
M-She is just jealous...her type of women... they don't...I don't really see them... they don't exist enough to bother me...
She nods
G-Kya hum mumma se chupayein?
M-Tumhari marzi
G-Khair chodo, main aai
M-Kahan jaa rahi ho?
G-Bhaag rahi hoon
She chuckles
M-Mujhe yahin chodke? Apni behno ke saath?!
He says with a little tiny pout
G-Ruko naa
She goes
Maan goes and bars the door with a chair
There is a knock after 5 minutes
M-Who is it?
G-Ghost
Geet awaaz badal ke bol rahi thi in a heavy voice
M-Go haunt someone else
Maan nahi kholta gate
G-Open the door...ha ha ha
Maan jhat se uthkar gate kholta hai when he recognizes her voice
He pulls her in and closes the door again
She is chuckling
G-Kya tum bhi, darwaza nhi kholte
M- Tumhe kya pata tumhari behne kaisi hain...monsters
G-Pleaseee!!! Aisa kuch nahi hai they are sweet. Khair ye lo
She hands over a glass full of milk
G-Maa ne kaha tumhe dene ko
M-Why am I supposed to drink that?
G-Hota hai kuch rivaaz, jamai and all that. Pii lo
M-Tum pii lo. You will like it
He says turning and going to lie down on the bed
G-Main kyun piyun? Tumhare liye hai. Waise maa keh rahi thi, ki hum dusre room mein so jaye, mera bed chotta hai naa
His hand is under his head and eyes are closed now
G-Pii lo naa! Zeher thode milaake laayi hoon
M-Main yahin so raha hoon tumhe jana hai to batao; aur uthke gate thik se band karo and I don't like milk
G-You don't like milk?
M-No
G-That's so weird
M-What's so weird about it?
G-Nothing...jao kitchen mein jaake rakh ke aao. Main nahi jaa rahi. Baar baar kaam karaate ho
M-Main akela is kamre se bahar nahi nikal raha.. subah wapas rakh denge
G-Waise kaun khaa raha hai tumhe bahar?
M-Tumhari sweet behenein
G-Kharab ho jayega dudh
M-To pii lo
G-Maine pii liya
M-Aur pii lo. I am sure it's good for health and stuff
PART 183
G-Maine pii liya
M-Aur pii lo I am sure it's good for health and stuff
G-tum pii lo. Maa said, taakat milegi
M-I just broke a door aur kya tudwana hai?
G-Andar se taakat...something like that
M-I have plenty of stamina
G-Thik hai, khaa lena maa ki daant kal. Mujhe kuch nahi pata
M-I'll tell her it was your fault
G-I'll throttle you
M-We'll see about that. Remember who broke the door?
Maan says opening one eye to look at her so it looks like he is winking at her
G-Khair...dusre room main chalna hai to bolo. Bhaiya bhabhi ke room mein. Yahan bed chota hai
M-No, I don't wanna disturb any one
G-Wo soye nahi abhi tak. jaldi bolooo
M-It's big enough if you want more space... I'll sleep on the floor
She raises an eyebrow
G-Naatak
Maan closes both his eyes managing a straight face despite an urge to smile
Geet goes out
G-Maaa Maan dudh nahi pii raha aur kahin aur sone mein bhi natak kar raha hai. Aap log sooo jaooo. Good nighttt
M-It would take a heck lot more to embarrass me... I mean people would wonder why I don't want to sleep anywhere else... it will be quite obvious...
Maa dusri side se
Ma- Achcha thik hhhai so jaaa
Bhabhi-Yahan sooo jaateee
G-Koi nahiii so jaooo bhabhiii
Saare apne room se chilla rahe hain
Bhabhi-Acchaaa good nighttt
G-Good nighttt
M-You people should have intercom
Maan utters pulling pillow over his ear
Geet door band kar deti hai aur light off kar deti hai
G-Arre ye night lamp kharab ho gaya. Uff andhera!!!
Geet adhi cheezein ger guraake pohonchti hai
G-Uuufff...ouchhh
She lands on top of him
G-ohhh ufff...tum ho kya
M-Who else?
G-Ufff hato naaa
He puts his hands on her waist lifting her easily and puts her by his side
M-ok now?
G-Haan haan
Her room has stars on the ceiling...which glow in the dark
M-Why do you have that glowy thing on your roof?
G-Isn't it pretty??? Like the night sky
M-Hm...
G-Don't you like it???????
M-It's ok...
Andhere mein ek paer maarti hai Maan ko
G-You don't have any choice
M-Stop that!
She does it again
G- Geet stop it, I mean it
Ab to Geet apna paer rakh hi deti haai Maan pe
He doesn't even mind it... he is enjoying the weight
Hawa se wo door awaaz karte huye thoda khul jaata hai
M-You didn't close it properly... jao theek se atkake aao
G-Thik se hi atkaya hai. Main nahi jaa rahi
M-To khul kaise gaya? You should correct your mistakes.
G-Khul jaane do. Thodi light aayegi
M-No way, tumhari behenein bahar hain
G-Khair, pata hai Maa keh rahi thi ki kyun naa hum Purna jaayein
M-Kahan jayein?
He asks getting up and looking around for a light switch
G-Purna, wahan hamre kull devi ka mandir hai. Unka ashirvaad lene, shaadi ke baad. Bohot achchi jagah hai
M-uhhuh...
He makes some non-committal noises aur light jalaata hai
G-it's so close to nature
Maan gate dhang se atkake band karta hai... chair ke sath ek table bhi khiska deta hai
G-Maan andhera mat karo naa. Koi nahi hai bahar , sab so gaye
M-Mujhe gate kholkar neend nahi aati. It's too unsafe. Hum light jalake so jaenge
G-Haan jaise wo tumhare upar kund jayengi
Maan shrugs
M-Should I leave the lights on?
G-No. tum naa...sunte nahi ho meri baat. Achi hawa aa rahi thi
M-I am listening to you
G-Garmi mein marr jaungi main
Maan light band kar deta hai
M-Kal tumhare kamre mein AC lagwa dunga
G-Chup raho
M- AC mein aadat bigad gai hai tumhari
G-Marr to main aaj hi jaungi naa
M-Haah..
G-Maan please gate kholo
He gives small laugh and settles down next to her again
G-Suffocation ho raha hai
Maan take a deep calming breath
M-Tum nahi soyogi na aise
G-Maan you know...I have a breathing problem. Jao tum jo marzi karo. Main jaa rahi hoon. Good night
Geet grabs her pillow
M-Fine fine!
Maan jaake gate khol deta hai
M-Lo ab so lo
G-Nahi tum so jao. Mera mood waise hi off ho gaya hai
M-You need a mood to sleep next to me?
Geet takes the pillow and goes
M- Jo karna hai karo
He picks up the quilt and settles on the floor in her room next to the window leaning his head against the wall. He can't sleep with open gates knowing there are other people around especially those whom he doesn't know and doesn't trust
Geet goes to Maa
G-Maa hato, jagah do
Maa-Geet yahan kya kar rahi hai?
G-Sone aayi hoon aur kya
Ma-Tere kamre mein kya hua?
G-Kuch nahi. Kya hona hai?
Ma-Mujhe kya pata beta... aayi to tu hai...
G-Kuch nahi hua. So jao
Ma-To phir apne kamre mein kuch nahi hua to bachchi hai kya jo ab bhi apni Maa ke sath soyegi? You should sleep with your husband like a proper wife
G-Maaa!! Mere kamre mein wo saandh[bull] so raha hai naa
Ma-Chup!!! Aise nahi bolte hain!!!
Itne mein Geet ki khusur-phusur mein Geet ke papa jag jaate hain
Dad-Ye kya ho raha hai? Geet? Koi kaam hai? Itni raat ho gai hai, tum dono kal baat karna
G-Main sone aayi hoon papa
Dad-Tu yahan nahi soegi. Jao apne kamre mein. Bachchon jaisi baatein mat karo. Aur agar tumhe Maan se hi problem hai to hum phir usse abhi ghar se hi bahar nikaal dete hain
G-Kyunnn???? Papa aisa kyun keh rahe ho uske baare mein? Uss bechare ne kya kiya?
Dad-To problem kya hai Geet? Why are you here instead of your room? Kya natak hai ye naya , raat mein tumhara?
Maa- Aap bhi datton mat. Beta baat kya hai? Agar Maan se problem nahi hai to kamre mein kya hua?
G-Maaa aap log naa ! Jaa rahi hoon main
Dad-Good . Jao aur so aur raat mei chillana band karo tum sab
Geet chuckles and leaves
Maa-Good night beta
Geet enters her room
Wahan Maan khidki ke paas ek pillow diwaar ke against laga kar baitha hai...knees drawn up...eye closed and hands are clasped around his legs
Geet light jala deti hai looks at him
Thoda sa paani leke ger rahi hai Maan pe
Maan aankhe kholta hai par chup hai
She chuckles
G-Yahan kyun pade ho?
She sprinkles some more water on him
He wipes it off
M-I didn't want to fall asleep
G-Why?
M- Coz the door was open
She pours the water on him...jug sar pe udhel deti hai
G-Barishhh
She starts laughing
Maan looks at her and then at the empty jug in her hands thinking this is how mad person laughs like
Maan ki shirt bhi giili ho gayi...he takes it off and wipes his hair and face and shoulders with it and sits back on the floor...gili shirt kone mei phek kar
G-Chalooo
She pulls his hand
M- I am not sleeping with that door open. You go ahead and sleep
G-Ufff!!
She goes and shuts the door
G-Happy?
M-Open the door. You won't be able to sleep otherwise
G-I will. You can give me CPR if I fall short of breath [she has a mischief laden smile]
M-I would call on your dear sisters to do that
She frowns and he gives her a tight lipped smile
She puts her arms around his neck
G-Nahi I want it from you
M-You won't be in any condition to demand your rescuer. Jao gate khol lo... your health is more important than a night's sleep for me
G-Nahi kholungi, [whispers moving her face really close to his]
Maan holds her shoulders and holds her back a little
M-Main khol doon?
G-Nahiii
M-What do you want then?
G-I wanna sleep
