Many actors got replaced in movies who were the original and authentic choices of film makers for the particular roles, but due to diversed reasons someone else ended up doing those films..

Eg Raveena left Darr due to very heavy dosages of exposing throughout the movie for early 90's standards.. rangeela due to akshay factor and kkhh due to the role..
And interestingly aamir & salman rejected these 3 in the list due to various reasons..

Lolo and urmila had to exchange dtph and judaai bcoz of schedules.. juhi left RH for the same reason.. and many such examples..

The film looks good with the final star cast bcoz we only get to see them and not the original choices..but if u use your imagination and perceive a little bit, who from the list
you think u will prefer to watch in the final product.

But Akshay was not in Rangeela so why did Raveena not do it?

Gossip at the time was that Urmila wouldn't give Yash Chopra an answer regarding DTPH and Karishma was being wishy washy with Boney Kapoor regarding Judaai so that's why each director went with their final decision.

Aamir Khan years later was asked about Darr and he said he had requested a joint narration session with Sunny Deol and YRF wouldn't give agree to it.

Its not about Akshay not being in Rangeela..it has to do with the strict conditions akshag applied on raveena to not do movies and quitting industry if she wants to get married to him and be bahu of their family during mid 90s because of which raveena refused many already signed movies that included Rangeela, and sat at home by choice at the two peak years of her career, only to got ditched by akki later on.

He knew they were going to screw over someone and that someone ended up being Sunny!

Kareena = Ramleela(Actually I dont know...disliked the movie completely-direction,story etc..the best part were the songs and sets.. but Kareena-Ranveer pairing would've been an exciting )

I wonder if had he taken SRK's role if it still would have been Sunny who had gotten screwed. Maybe in that case Aamir would have. Yash Chopra always had a soft spot for SRK it seems. But if gossip is to be believed Sunny Deol was angry with YRF for years. As was Akshay Kumar after DTPH because apparently he got shafted too.

Raveena was at her peak in 1994 with chain of hits like mohra, dilwale, laadla & cult andaz apna apna..she was just a few miles away from that supreme position but ended up doing professional suicide at the most crucial & important time of her career due to just bone ordinary man. :( Remember how abruptly Twinkle's career ended right after her marriage with akki.
I am glad the current generation of girls are way strong headed and don't like to live on a man's pre- decided conditions...
