So Khushi has acheived the goal of obtaining the job at AR Designs with the stipulation that if she leaves before 15 days she will owe the company 1 lakh rupees.

ASR tries with all his power and his arrogance to give her jobs that he thinks Khushi will fail in thereby quitting. Our KKG is a sly fox. Her innocence may be in her looks but she is wise beyond her years. ASR has sent her to a room to measure 5 male models...chest, waist and biceps. She freaks out and runs out of the room, obviously this innocent girl could never do something like that. ASR sees her dilemma and reminds her of their contract and she is the only one who can complete this job or else she is out.

Khushi goes back with a sacred thread and uses it on one of the models who treats her as if she could be his little sister. Ah yes he is smitten but she calls him Bhaiya and the man will now do anything she asks. So he helps her with the measurements which she now takes to the office of ASR. La is in his office with her arms all over him and Khushi with eyes closed nocks on the door. Oh yes, Ms. Gupta is here she must have failed so she will resign and make sure she leaves a check for 1 lakh rupees, is what is going through Arnav's mind. So cocky he is. La too has a smirk thinking she has failed. But alas our Khushi reads off the measurements of all 5 models and they sit with their mouths hanging open.

The day goes by and now he has another challenge for her. She enters and he is standing looking menacing as always. He slowly removes his jacket. He has something in mind for her to do. You can see the panic and the disturbed look on her face. KKG what are you thinking? Bad girl, bad girl. He moves forward towards her and again she retreats and nearly falls out the door. He catches her of course. He wants her to take a dictated letter. Type it and return it properly done or else!

Before she starts she programs her phone and they are off, him relentlessly not giving her a breather as he dictates at speed that may break the sound barrier. She taking steno furiously. They finish and she goes to her desk. It looks as though they are all betting she will fail, one girl is even discussing her situation on the phone. Khushi does her job and returns with the letter...and not one of resignation either! Her letter is perfect and he crumples the edge of the letter as ASR realizes he has failed and she has won this round... but... what about all the other tasks that Lavanya has given her.

All done.

Anything else? Khushi asks.

It is 6 PM time to go home. May I leave? She asks. Total silence...dumbfounded.

What did he say again? Arnav Singh Raizada never loses?

Buzzz...WRONG!

Meanwhile bets are on and the odds are in her favor now!

He is dumbfounded how she can do this. He also can't seem to get her off his mind. Right now, I think this is his ego speaking at this time not really feelings just yet. She still angers him and she defies him so this irks him. He is like a little boy in the playground pulling the girl's braids. His carpet in this office will be worn out from all his pacing. 😆 Go home ASR, go home.

The next morning Khushi comes in and is excited to start work so she can complete what she has to do and go home early it is her jiji's birthday. She lets a "surprised to see her" Sim knoe her contract is for 15 days and she is from Lucknow they never give in!

He overhears and he will now make it his mission to keep her here as late as possible. Mr. Arnav Singh Raizada has a revengeful side.

So today's bet... odds are in whose favor?

Episode 1 was stellar giving just perfect peep into everyone.
His entry was undoubtedly one of the if not the best for a leading man on Indian screen.. not because of that helicopter but becos of the way he conducted that business deal. He looked like a sage .. ironical I use that term for a most modern girl friend having, money power believing young man.. just for his FOCUS! He seemed so engrossed in what he was doing, single minded dedication..
Khushi gave a solid entry with what looked like a suicide attempt at first... tuened out to be jalebi making..such originality in her..

The underline scene are one of my most favorite scene of IPK. Somehow someone dare to enter the loin's den and challenge him. What i love is his over confidence that he always will wins becuase he not only his fate but also others and then being speechless, acting as a dumb when khushi prove that he did mistake to underestimate her determination. Khushi was broght in his life to shatter his mindless notions for life and his big fat ego and he didn't realize how awesomely khushi brought out his ture positive self.

How did Arnav forget that he also belong to same "chotta sher lucknow", he rose high and became self made, most suceesful enterprenuer. I think he never notice the fire in khushi eyes to do something productive with her life. I really wished if ASR seriously could have thought to mentor khushi.
