okk...so here is one more from me.
It is not the one I started. M still working on one. But saturday's and todays' episode forced me to write this one first. So here it is. A short simple story based on relations.

He entered his room and threw away his bag on the bed with one hand and opening the knot of his tie with other one. Settling himself in a comfortable position, he started removing his shoes and socks throwing them at any location possible. His neck tilted holding his phone between his cheeks and shoulder, he spoke as he started unbuttoning his wet shirt.

Hmm...I just reached home. Okk...What time? Huh...Will be there...Dont worry yrrr..his each talk followed by a sneeze...it was raining yrr..i got wet..hopefully I dont catch cold..he was still on his phone when she entered with a bowl in her hand and towel in the another one.

Okk...will talk to you later. He said and cut the call as soon as he saw her. She came and ran her hand through his hair lovingly making the water droplets blow in air. He just made a not so bothered face showing that he was still angry. She smiled at it.

Here...Have it..She said bringing the bowl forward.

I dont need anything. He said turning his face away still sneezing.

It's Karha..take it otherwise you will catch cold. And even your voice will be choked. You know you cant bear rain. She tried to explain.

He crossed his arms against his chest. What is your problem? I really don't want it.

If you won't have then you'll not be able to go outside. There is a party tomorrow. Think about it. She said pulling his cheeks as she made her way out of the room with slow steps knowing he will stop her.

Okk...Give it to me. His words brought her steps to a halt. She smiled and turned back.

For party...you can do anything? She mocked him and put a spoonfull in his mouth. He just smiled and relished the taste. After feeding him 3 4 more spoons, she handed him to have it himself while herself went to his cupboard to take out fresh clothes from him. Change them immediately...she spoke setting some of his clothes in the cupboard...I'll hang them to dry.

Its okk...you need not do all this...he tried to speak but she cut him short. Had Mammiji been here, she would have done the same. She said lovingly. Is there any difference? He couldn't deny the love and affection in her eyes. No Bhabhi..Its not that. I was just...

You yourself said there is no difference. So just sit and have it. Then go for changing. She said and started wiping his hair with her towel. Your touch is motherly and even taste. He said as he finished karha. She smiled at it.

Okk...If you need anything let me know. She said as she picked up towel and bowl ready to leave.

I have headache. A medicine will do. He told her. She nodded her head and left.


He changed and came out of bathroom fresh and dry. Thank God this sneezing reduced. Ghosh..I was worried if I'll be able to make for party or not. He talked to himself and decided to sleep to ease away the headache. It was then she entered again holding the warm oil in her hand.

Bhabhi? What is this? He asked questioningly.

Oil. Will you like to have a head massage? She asked keeping it on the side table.

But how do you know? He was surprised and shocked at the same time.

Raman always wants a head massage when he is stressed out of his office work. You are also his brother only. Am sure it will help you also. She said lovingly.

He sat on the floor while she positioned herself on the bed. Taking the warm oil on her palm, she made the liquid flow in his scalp...and then ran her hands through it soothing him. He felt relaxed as all the tensions eased and smiled as he remembered his mother also doing the same.

You know what Mummiji. No one can massage like you. This Simmi Di doesn't know how to run her hands. She pulls my hair. Only you can massage it. No one else. He chukled as he remembered his own words. But this lady, his Bhabhi had the power to do whatever work she took in his hands. He wondered. Yesterday only, she got discharge from hospital. Everyone in the family requested, pleaded and even fought with her but she didn't budge from her decision of cotinuing the fast. It was Mata Rani's wish. It doesn't mean I can't fast. If I have started, I will keep it all 9 days. There is no midway. She told everyone firmly.

He remembered himself phoning his mom complaining her. That everything is not perfect. Food not good. Rituals not performed properly..blah blah. And that Simmi Aunty's neice, he had simself seen her in market so many times with that boyfriend of hers. Still he didn't mind filling his mom's ears against hers.

I am sorry. He said.

I am not doing all this to get sorry from you.

I know that. But still. I was wrong. He lowered his head. I shouldn't have complained.

She just laughed out loudly at it. Do you really think..I mind it? I was more than happy.

Happy? But why? He was confused.

Because am part of this family finally.

Bhabhi what?

Had it been earlier time, you people would have said let it be. Who cares. We can just sit back and see the drama. But this is not the case now. You were angry and you showed it with full right. I loved it. Mammiji is mother. Obviously she has right to scold me.

He smiled at her words.

You know what? Me and Akka used to do same thing. Blame each other in front of Amma to get the other scolded. And what can be better for a girl if she gets same relations after marriage also.

He smiled at it getting up at once. You know what Bhabhi. You are the best. He said and hugged her tightly. I love you. She too hugged him back. I love you too. She said pulling his cheeks.

Now how is the headache? She asked closing the lid of bottle.

Much better...magic of your hands you know. He said holding her hand and kissing them. She hit his head...Haan..now flirting. Party?? She asked crossing her arms.

Bhabhi..All friends will bw coming. I cant go to that boring office. Only one leave naa..pls. He said making an innocent face. She laughed at his cuteness...okk..i'll talk to your Bhai. She said assuring him. He became overjoyed. But...she continued...I know I know..he cut her short. No drinks, No non veg. Nothing. Navratri going on. Only home made food. Will behave like a pure vegetarian for all remaining days. Will do office work also sincerely. She shook her head in affirmative smiling. Now will you leave my hand. I need to go.

Yeahh yeahh..he said. Sure...he pretended to clean her hand lovingly. She pulled it..Stop pumping ok. I said naa I will talk. I cant garauntee though.

Oh Bhabhi..you said you'll talk that means work is done. You know if Supreme Court orders then even High Court can't deny it. He said naughtily. Supreme court..High court..Let your bhai come. He will take out all the courts from you. She scolded him and left the room not before stopping at the door to say

I'll try to ask Raman, where he had appointed Sarika. Maybe then you wont need drinks, like your bhai doesn't need now.

Bhabhi? He smiled surprisingly amused. She nodded her head.

And maybe then you wont need head massage from me also. She said and left the room leaving behind his blushing dewar who just ran his hand through his hair.

Bhabhi is like a mother yrrr...that too mother without Generation Gap.

As I started reading I was thinking of Raman and Ishu and how she was taking care of him...
