Although I feel that she did have a major crush on him. The kind of forever together idea that teenagers have at that age and she still holds it close to her heart. I feel like he was her first love if the heart engravings and drawings are anything to go by. And the fear she felt was of losing her first love.

And the other thing is, she slipped into coma harbouring those feelings for Aman and so now when she wakes up, her feeling that were just paused and dormant for 12 years are back exactly where she left them. So the inklings of infatuation and attraction is still there for her. She loves him for who he was before she went to sleep and it would be interesting to see her connect the dots between that boy and the man he has become. And how her feelings change along with that realisation.

Here I agree! Though I won't call it crush eactly! I would call it an unnamed bond! She maybe never knew she was attracted towards him and liked him, but she did feel that way! I mean at that age (I am talking about life in 2002 acc. the show) usually we are confused about what we feel but are hormones just act the way they should and we are attracted towards the person and start accepting him/her as the part of our everything!
And now she believes him to be the same Aman whom she has forever unknowingly liked!

Very interesting way of looking of at the triangle. Made me re-think & yes you guys do have a point. It is through conflicts that the characters will grow & it is through these conflicts Neha would truly be able to bring out the beauty of enjoying life. That little bit of innocence, & happiness.
The only reason I am worried about the triangle is that in hindi soaps it tends to stretch into long episodes of melodrama & taunting etc which I hope this show keeps out.

Let's see how the story unfolds. Looking forward to it :)

Well I feel that we should wait for sometime before jumping to conclusions immediately!
I have seen many shows handling triangle well (Not Indian television) so maybe the show turns out to bring out a different fresh concept altogether! :)
Actually even if they try doing Melodrama Neha won't let the show to become too dramatic as she is too innocent as mention by @Couch_Potato to be jealous and spot against or sacrifice Aman and Akku!
