Thanks for replying everyone! Let's hope there is a twist in the tale & that Akku/Aman are not engaged. One-sided love is fine. Please CVs.

It seems like Neha's sister is engaged to Aman. Why else the hesitancy to tell Neha about him? Plus Akku did tell her mother not to tell Neha anything about her.

Besides I for one am kinda glad for it. It would make sense for Aman to have moved on in his life. He is 29 after all and from the interviews, appears to be someone forced to mature before his time. And Akku seems to be the ideal partner for someone like that. However, Neha with her childish naivety and innocence is sure to bring some conflicts in his life.

I love nothing more than a conflicted and morally challenged lead. I'm sure to love this. Besides Akku's emotions will be challenged too and Neha. All in all, if the first epi is anything to go by, delicious conflicts, angst and some major character development are definitely in the future. And I can't wait for it to unfold.

I Think Neha's sis and Aman ARE engaged that's why she react so weird everytime Neha asks for Aman..Wonder how will Neha react knowing that

You have always amazed me with your POV and I shall agree with what you just said about the conflicts!
If there is no battle between maturity and innocence, and no one ponders upon it, then how will the characters grow!
As I said, triangle will be acceptable if they make it look believable, handle it well and make it sensible! :)
But at the moment, if Akku wants to keep the secrecy, I will say it is good in a way as we could venture through Neha's affection for Aman! :) And then she won't have to think before she looks at him or hugs him! The sweet innocent affectionate childhood love! <3

Thank you :)

And exactly. This show's USP is 'everyone is a child at heart'. And Neha I reckon will be a stark reminder of that for everyone. If the way that they handled Neha's return home in the first epi is anything to go by, I'm sure the way they show the rebuilding of Aman/Neha relationship and the strains of it on Aman/Akku will be something to look forward to.

And I completely agree with you. Somehow I think the secrecy needs to be maintained for longer. Neha hasn't reached that emotional aptitude just yet to deal with jealousy, possessiveness and distance. It needs to sweep in slowly and yes, at this point Neha is like a wild current just let out of a dam. I dont think she needs to be bound by conventions, relations and customs just yet. It's something she should stay blind to for a little bit longer in order for the story to start off just right.

Yes! I actually loved that part when she asks, "Aman ki shaadi toh Nahi hui na" as she had a fear in her voice. Fear to lose a friend. WHat I feel is Aman wasn't her crush, just a friend whom she could look up to. They must have shared that bond which during childhood years we fail to name and as we grow it becomes stronger! So I feel that Neha will teach him to live again, not just live but love to live and at the same time Aman will teach her about life in his own way, how 12 years have changed everything. So in a way they both will teach each other how to live with success failures tears joy and she will become as Shatir as a 26 year old but they both would still not foget the existance of a baachha in their heart!

I completely agree. I think it is the perfect balance and coming together of a child woman and a man forced to age before his time. They have much to learn from each other and grow in the process.

Although I feel that she did have a major crush on him. The kind of forever together idea that teenagers have at that age and she still holds it close to her heart. I feel like he was her first love if the heart engravings and drawings are anything to go by. And the fear she felt was of losing her first love.

And the other thing is, she slipped into coma harbouring those feelings for Aman and so now when she wakes up, her feeling that were just paused and dormant for 12 years are back exactly where she left them. So the inklings of infatuation and attraction is still there for her. She loves him for who he was before she went to sleep and it would be interesting to see her connect the dots between that boy and the man he has become. And how her feelings change along with that realisation.
