She put Raman through so much emotional upheaval and left him as well as her infant daughter without ending the relationship legally. The thing is, Shagun wanted to hurt Raman as much as she could. If she had gone to court for a divorce, it would have been too quick and easy, but she wanted to take revenge on Raman for not being the perfect husband in her eyes. For me, she's a sick character, woman or not.
