No one understands music as well as Sidharth Anand! his films always have fantastic music albums. He really has a good ear for music, what a complete music album 👏 there is all kind of songs, dance number, soulful song and fun songs, fast, slow etc.! and each song is full of quality the range of music is really impressive, i love how the music keeps changing in each song vishal shehkar has out done themselves really a well made album !
Kudos to them for creating a song like Uff! totally in love with it from the moment I played it, the lyrics are so beautiful and got depth, it's a really different and refreshing song, pleasantly surprised. Also Harshdeep Kaur is the best current female singer we have she is so versatile and can sing all kind of songs. She has done a fantastic job and the music is very catchy, the best of the year LOVE IT ❤️
Bang Bang Title track OMFG again surprised, this is beyond fantastic, it's damn catchy, the music is so cool and gives a retro feel. It made me dance, the lyrics are lovely and what fantastic singers are Benny and neeti, Benny does dance numbers so well he is made to sing such songs, and wow Neeti's sensual voice, i love the combination of singers, in fact the choice of singers for all songs is so spot on! this doing will be a big chartbuster, and the music video will add so much more to it.
Meherbaan reprise is the most soulful song of the album, shehkar's strength are such songs and he delivers amazingly well, the use of guitar is nice.
Meherbaan original version I am already in love with and have been humming it and playing it since it came out ! shilpa and ash did a great job, i love how the meherbaan part is sung, the music is really romantic and i love how the pitch goes high in 2nd half and becomes dramatic, and the music video makes it even more beautiful!
Tu Meri I got mixed reactions about it. It's just a dance number according to me, the lyrics are okay, it could have been written much much better, to much repeat of tu meri, and it gets annoying, but yeah perfectly made for parties, can't hear it again and again though. The weakest song of the album.
My favorites: Uff, Bang Bang title track & Meherbaan original version.
I liked meherbaan original version more than reprise, the music really makes the original one more grand and the reprise one is a bit cold.
It went beyond my expectations, take a bow vishal and shehkar, this is a fantastic music album, the best of the year so far, a great variety of songs and totally love how they all situational and the music videos will add so much to the songs.
4.5/5 (0.5 is missing because I feel tu meri could have been better).
WHY DID FOX NOT FIRST LAUNCH BANG BANG TITLE TRACK PROMO WHAT AN ADDICTIVE SONG IT IS SO GOOD I AM IN LOVE WITH IT!! IT IS MUCH BETTER THAN TU MERI! CAN THEY RELEASE BANG BANG TITLE TRACK PROMO NOW CAN NOT WAIT it will be so fantastic.
also the uff music video will be really gorgeous shot in manali, will be very ethnic and situational, it's basically katrina's song.
Harshdeep Kaur is going to win awards for Uff! what a singer! totally gifted, her voice is so powerful!
