This line..so true. I believe someone cannot solely be your strength without being your weakness as well. The presence of that person in your life makes you strong, but that same person not being there renders you weak which is exactly the case of Raman. He is a strong man in himself, otherwise how could he have risen again after the pain Shagun inflicted on him years ago? But emotionally, he had been a broken man, someone who couldn't quite pick up his relationships back the way they were. Not only was he estranged from his son but he had been completely disconnected with his daughter. And that's where Ishita is his strength, she helped him pick up the pieces of his life and brought back his belief and trust in those relationships. She gave him back his family in short. She gave him that chance to connect with Adi again even if it hurt her to see Raman with Shagun during that picnic incident. But exactly, he should have been happy to spend time with Adi again but that happiness was eclipsed by the fact that Ishita wasn't there to share that moment with him. Just goes to show how vital her presence is to him now especially in the marking moments of his life. He needs her there for it to feel complete.

Raman is literally awed by her, I think what's more beautiful in their bond is that there's not only love but a genuine admiration for each other. He may not voice it often (that's debatable because someone has been heard uttering the phrase you are amazing' quite a lot😉) but the thing is he feels it. Even in that previous epi, when Ishita raised the Raksha Bandhan matter, it was clear Raman hadn't even thought of it simply because he didn't think it could happen. But Ishita surprised him by talking of it, it was as if she had no doubt it was possible, so much that seeing her confidence, he perked up at the thought. Again Raman was struck by how this woman could simplify out the most difficult things and make it look easy as pie. Your title perfectly describes the feeling Raman has for Ishita, she's his dil ki sukoon. The one who untangles all those messy parts of his life and re-arranges it into one neat pattern without even looking like she's trying to. That's why he had that happy relaxed smile as he contemplated the plan and thought to himself aloud that Ishita thinks of every single person in his family. Something which never fails to move him however many times Ishita does it.

But then after trying to get Adi to come, he finds out he won't after all. It was not only the disappointment of a father there, but I believe that of a husband too. He knew that Ruhi alone wasn't waiting for Adi, but Ishita was excited as well, enough to go and learn how to prepare sweets just to please Adi (one more thing that he had to taunt her while it very obviously touched him). When he came into the house, after preparing himself about what to say, the person he addressed himself first to was Ishita and he had such an apologetic look on his face. He couldn't meet both Ruhi and Ishita's eyes. He tried explaining but immediately sensing it was difficult for him to, Ishita herself spoke up making excuses about Adi's absence to Ruhi. That silent convo between them, I so loved it because it showed how independent of words their relationship is. Like Ishu sensed his dilemma, Raman sensed Ishu was trying to make Ruhi feel better. The grateful appreciative light in Raman's eyes and that little thank you highlighted for the nth time how much Ishita's goodness struck him, how her ability to solve his biggest problems did really make her his strength and the fact that she asked nothing in return, only made her more precious and special to him.

The pic you chose, the best one to show how fulfilled and happy a man Raman is. He had his family in front of him, smiling and content, and that moment was made possible only thanks to Ishita. You said it, without her, it would have been incomplete because in his family she was at the centre, the pivot that kept his life turning in the right direction. Everything good in his life ultimately led back to her. Basically, Ishita is the keeper of his happiness and Mr. RKB knows it.❤️

On a rakhi day, parents thank the god for blessing them with children and wish for them to be together. Raman didnt do this for this year rakhi though he has got 2 kids until Ishu raised the topic and shared her wishes with him.

Life is a full circle. From being least bothered about Ishu's feelings for his children happiness or his own, to only bothered about her happiness.
An example, he avoided Ishu to witness his fight with Ashok for Shagun as he knows its consequences, wahi, BACK TO "YOU HAVE NO FEELINGS" mode 🤣 🤣 or her mood to get spoiled on an occasional day.

Once upon a time, he was like he is the most lucky father to have a son like Adi. How proud he had felt being his father 🥱
But things have changed now. He is like, good that he gave birth to Ruhi like daughter to have Ishu by his side as his wife. Uske language mein "ek hi dhang ka kam usne kiye, Ruhi ko paidha karna" otherwise his life would have been different with no naamu nishan of him cos of the biological mother of his kids and his son.
Its proved again Ladkiyaan ghar ki lakshmi hote hain 😛 It has become true in Raman's case.

Back to topic, one could easily say he was happy for whom, he was happy as a father or as a husband.
He didnt wanted to even wish for his children to be together this year as he knew where it will lead to at the end; Ishu getting hurted someway or other. But he agreed to this only just because Ishu asked him and wanted to give an attempt for Ruhi's happiness.

She has become his first most top priority than anyone or anything on this earth!!! This is evident from each passing day of his life with her.

PS : Out of topic. I didnt find anything wrong in Raman saving Shagun from a perv. Its the underlying meaning we have to understand from it.
One must see the difference between the thanda thanda gussa while warning Ashok to protect his would be and the gussa while warning Parmeet to stay away from Ishu. A LOT DIFFERENCE IS THERE.

That picture you posted looks like he's finally content. That is something we havent seen him be earlier. Like you said, he's always wished for his children to be together. He's wanted to have that family. And with Ishita's help he'd even come close a couple of times. BUT, the Rakhi celebration was like someone just waved a magic wand and made his wishes come true

The man who'd been momentarity disheartened by Shagun's denial to come to the Bhalla house was quickly cheered up by his wife who came up with plan B. Although it looked like she did that for Ruhi's happiness, there is no hiding from the fact that she also wanted to see his smile back. Their unspoken words were were clear when she pleads with him to go along with her plan, and her thanks her for coming up with that plan.

For a change, his son is also behaving like a good Boy, and his ex-wife isn't causing any drama. The Raman who witnessed his son and daughter participate in their 'first' Rakhi ceremony together was someone who couldn't believe his luck. His emotions at that time not only revealed content, but also the gratitude towards the one woman who's changed his life for the better.

Last but not the least, there is now hope in his eyes, that things may be alright after all. He's been through enough pain. He wants to now experience real happiness.

I had planned on using a different song for my reply, but the last line I wrote just reminded me of this one, hope you find it apt too.

So true. When you love someone, they inadvertently became both your weakness and strength, what matters is how you deal with that love and how the person you love reciprocates it. Raman loves Adi a lot but Raman's longing for Adi's love makes him weak while Adi does not seem to care for Raman(I am assuming Adi does have feeling for Raman but his misunderstanding in Raman's case makes it seem he doesn't.) While in Ishita's case Raman loves Ishita and is loved back, which works out for both of them and makes them each other's strength and weakness at the same time.

I loved those short IshRa scenes we had yesterday. They didn't talk much, it was mostly through expressions and I love it when they talk in Ishaare's, but anyway, point is, even with those short little scenes so much was said.

I really don't have anything to say on Raakhi scene, you covered it all and so beautifully you did it. Your explanation of the whole scene made me dilse happy and contended Nikki.👏👏 🤗

Raman's face when he was looking at Ishita showed it all, the contentment, the peace, the happiness he felt at seeing his whole family together and it was all because of his wife. KP's expression are always bang on in these scene.

The Raman before Ishita's entry in his life used to be so restless. He had forgotten what happiness, peace meant and then Ishita came into his life, slowly joined together all the left over pieces of his life, showed him the mirror and what he had become and changed him to the contended, happy man he is today.

Nikki, loved this post. I am not kidding, I really felt at peace while reading this. Particularly, because I could feel Raman's emotions clearly because of this.😊

PS- I love Banjara song. More than the music it's the lyrics that gets to me. Apt title you chose for this one. Raman has finally found his home in Ishita, no? 😊

I am so glad you made a post on this because this was the part that I absolutely loved in yesterday's episode. Recently I have noticed that most people in the forum are in such a rush for the story to get where they want that they are missing out on these amazing moments that CVs are trying to show in the last couple of episodes.

Yesterday everyone saw Raman helping Shagun (and weirdly enough, found that to be a bad thing 😕) but no one saw The way Raman looked at his family. By his family, I mean Ishu, adi and ru, the three most precious people in his life. The absolute peace on his face to see these three faces together and smiling was amazing to watch. They didn't even notice that in one second Raman was arguing with Ashok but the next second, as soon as he saw Ishu and ru's smiling faces, all that annoyance just drainers right out of him and brought a smile to his face.

In the same way, the day before yesterday's episode, everyone started complaining about Raman being rude to Ishita but they didn't see the guilty expression he got on his face right in the middle of his tantrum. How he made it a point to sit near where she was in the morning while pretending to be absorbed in his newspaper.

I am really enjoying watching these scenes and I hope CVs continue to show these beautiful moments to us.

RKB the father... whose eyes wore solely on his kids...who was able to see his daughter celebrate her first ever Rakhi with her Adi bhaiya ... to see both his kids... as siblings together

RKB the husband... whose eyes were solely on his wife IRB... who had made this possible

A huge contrast from the RKB who went to that picnic ... thinking seeing Adi and Ruhi together...spending time with Adi would be his dream come true... only to sense deep down... that this happiness was somewhere incomplete

And and "Brand Ambassador of sulkiness" 🤣🤣

That Rakhi scene was the scene stealer for me in the epi .. it was shot so well...RKB in arm chair opposite to Adi ... very good screenplay

Beautifully written n I loved how Ishu with her love n patience n inner goodness has managed without much ado to be the epic weakness n strength of a man who had stopped living life as it should and taught him how to appreciate what he has.

Today RKB has come in terms with so many things. He can behave around a Shagun n watch his son and daughter n wife, smiling lovingly at them without glaring at the other woman who ditched him.

Today RKB just has to look at his wife to calm himself and just look at the same wife to lose his calm coz as u said, she is his strength n weakness both.

With respect to Adi its difficult for him to think positively as Adi has never accepted him as dad. When Ishu told about the Ruhi-Adi raksha bandhan he was so disappointed as he always wanted to see this happening. I am glad they showed this Raksha bandhan scene. It gives a lesson whatever may happen between parents but kids shouldnt be affected and departed.
Whenever I read Ishu being his strength it brings a big smile on my face. You rightly said what Shagun being married for 6 years to Raman, Ishita gave that happiness and peace within 6 months. And I loved the way how you connected the picnic scene and this raksha bandhan. Absence of Ishita in picnic impacted so much that he couldnt enjoy even when both his kids were together!!
The song is my favorite track and its totally applicable to Raman now.

Great description of what goes thru RKBs head 😆 Mujhe yeh nahi pata ki Ishu uski strength hai ya weakness but Raman ki necessity jarur hai.


Jaise koi agar kisi cheez ka addict ho we think this addiction is his weakness but that person believes that his addiction is his strength coz that addiction is giving him purpose in life.


What exactly is purpose of life? Hmm it differs from person to person coz we take different paths. So for Raman his family was always his purpose. Earlier also when he was married to Shagun n now too when he is wid Ishu.

Coz seeing his kids together gives him more happiness than say winning a CEO award or clinching a lucrative business deal. He didnt think twice before resigning for Ishu not only he wanted to do something for her but she has become an integral part of his family n even when he got to know how she fought for him he was worried for Ishu n his brothers. N today also when he is going to make a tough decision for SIMMI whom he loves a lot a part of his heart is bleeding coz he cant let her go to that leech. If he wanted after coming from Mumbai he cudve bought a huge house for himself as it is he was not on talking terms with half of his family but he chose in his Fathers house. So that means even when he was in his destructive mode he cudnt think of leaving his family. So how wud he leave Ishu who is his oxygen of life 😆

The Ruhi-Adi scene was beautiful yesterday. They were a brother & sister truly loving each other for that one moment without any grudges. It was so good to see Adi being a child for a change than the confused adult persona he takes on usually.

Indeed Ishu had always given him peaceful moments and he acknowledges it too.

At times, Raman seems to move backwards in his relationship with her like the taunts he throws up on her or at times the annoyance he shows. Ishita is shown as least affected by all that or seems ignoring it all. thoda ajeeb toh lagtha hai.. i mean letting go of such harsh comments is never so easy...I also feel Raman is really scared to fall in love again. He obviously doesnt realize or doesnt want to accept that he is already in love with her. thats why he keeps pushing her away from him when she tries to come closer. perhaps, Shagun's betrayal has left him weak and he believes that he can never fall in love. He is stubborn that he will not let her into that special place in his heart...but Raman putthar, u have failed in ur attempts...she is already there and never can move out! 😆

And Ishita is emotionally stubborn that she will never trespass that barrier he builds around him even if she understands and knows him in and out...😉

Complex situation indeed but when it all unfolds, it would be beautiful and worth all the wait, I guess!

ANyways coming back to the scene, it was a lovely scene where Raman enjoyed seeing his kids together. he was indeed proud of his wife who was trying her best to bond them closely. Adi too seems to have changed and he thanked Ishita for the sweets. May be this is a turn in every relationship. Acceptance in every dimension. Probably in Ishra relationship too!
