This is Channel's fault that they approach Professional Dancers as contestants and with all due respect if professional dancer wont be on the show the level of dancing will suck big time...
So the Major reason of approaching Professionals is to increase the level of Dance...

Completely agree with everything you said.
This bringing in Pros as contestants is really ruining the actual DWTS concept.I'd much rather have the shine and attention on the actual choreos more. They slog and work and come up with concepts. They are the ones who get a trophy as well. So, I think they really should be given equal, if not more recognition. At times I like when judges appreciate the choreos, like Punit or Shampa or Deepak... But then more than half the times, brilliant minds like Tushaar and Kruti etc are just neglected and used for humor...But then, this is JDJ. What can one really expect? Idiotic Slapstick Humor and Overdose of Judges hogging the limelight. Nothing else.

Yes, exactly. I'm commenting on the system - the new norm they have created. I'm not speaking against the dancers.I disagree with your second point of view though - a couple of seasons ago we had VJ Anushka's sister (an amateur dancer) who was partnered with Punit and for me she embodied the spirit of the show as it was enjoyable to watch improve and grow from strength to strength. To watch Pros compete in an intense competition there are other shows formatted around that concept such as SYTYCD or Dance India Dance.

So whoever is popular will be brought inspite of fact that the person's popularity is because of dance ..DID is more about newcomers .. Now people like Shakti and Lauren can't go DID .. they r much known ..

Yes which is why in my opinion they should be hired on DWTS/JDJ as Pros and be given the same amount of recognition and have the same amount of celebrity as Pros (such as Maksim, Julianne Hough, and Mark Ballas) on the its western counterparts.
