Okay, since I am sort of the subject of discussion in this post, let me start by saying thank you to all of you who love reading the more mature stories on PARUD as I write them. Of course, they are written because we can imagine and write what we want and it is just words, no action on screen.
As for the people who are going into the point about restraints on TV, I completely agree! There is no way they can show what I write in my stories!!!
TVbuf-----I didn't like the reference to my stories as soft P*** and so, I 'll say it again, it is just like reading a romantic paperback novel.
I think the point some of you are trying to make here is that maybe the June 20th episode was not vulgar by any means but highly romantic and sensual, tastefully portrayed the passion between the main leads. It does not to be detailed as in my stories (nobody in their right mind in the forum would expect that in a TV show!!!) but it can be maybe more romantic.
Part of the problem in my humble opinion is the fact that they keep showing these semi-romantic and highly suggestive tidbits and teasing viewers, in turn building audiences expectations when they know very well that they cannot show such things. There are a million posts on this forum alone----all very suggestive in nature, termed as "guttery" and what people want to see but never will.
The wedding night had been stretched for so long that in the end, it was made to be blown out of proportion, even probably making it embarrassing for the actors who kind of have an idea what the audiences want and the reporters keep asking questions about the "big C!" Where is the dignity in that?
As far as shows go, I am not that much of a veteran of Indian telly shows to pass judgement but from a few that I have seen, bits and pieces, there is much that is suggested and the songs in the background further fill in the blanks as to sexual desire by the leads, enticing viewers to keep watching.
Once again, I understand that such things are not shown on TV shows, even american ones actually as in my FF but I will say that things can be portrayed to be sensual and romantic without being vulgar and filthy.
This is in no form criticism of the SR sequence of the show as I haven't even watched the episode yet but i have a clue based on the pics. Everyone has an opinion----some will like it and some will not, simple as that. There is no need to bash anyone.
Love,
Sonia
P.S. Even I thought that maybe the writers have been reading my FF and picking out scenes from there. Funny that you all mentioned it, but when I had initially written the button scene where Rudra pulls it out on purpose, the scissors was hidden by him but then I changed it because Paro was supposed to tease him😆😳 and bite him with her teeth😳
