I honestly feel that our own dear Sonya could do a much better job in conceptualizing big C than the director. It was so disappointing that the mangalsutra episode set the standard so high and this was a big failure.

I agree 100%. Sonia' s depiction was so real n so sweet and the build up to it was mind blowing. Also the morning after scene when paro is embarrassed.
I guess they can't show the details on TV.

Also been planning to make this post for sometime now. Seems CVs are reading her story :-)

Did u notice the one where rudra spills tea on himself and paro runs to attend to it and later realizes that he is faking it :-) Sonia had that in her story. Anyone else think of it

I thought of it 😆 And the button thing too kind of, though in Sonia's story Paro does use her mouth instead of scissors 😳

We can write whatever we want but when real people have to enact, it is a different ball-game.

It was beautiful sequence and very aesthetically done.

Desisoapie's stories are rated R (as in Mature, 18+), and this is a show for family audience.

I give it a standing ovation, it was a very romantic, filled with love sequence.

for writing we can write anything ... its a Indian television show and actors are real not some imaginative character using whom we can write anything ...
Comparing a fiction story with the real show is not good ...
the things they have shown is more than enough as they are not real life couple
one is married and one is committed
We should atleast give them for that ..

Again it's not about showing any sexuality in tv. It's about sensuality and taking time , creating the build up and going thru the same nice n slow. It's not that the creative team does not know how to do that. They have done it in 20the June episode. and they have set the standard so high with that, ydays episode was like a blink and it was gone.

Agreed, and I would just like to comment on this sentence "the things they have shown is more than enough as they are not real life couple" Actors do a lot more on-screen in the entertainment industry and it does not matter whether they are married or committed...if it matters one should not become an actor.

Also, what PaRud did is what every reel couple on Indian TV does, I don't think Sanaya and Ashish did anything out of the ordinary that needs to be specially appreciated just because they both have different partners in real life. Everyone does it (and many are married) because it's a part of the job and they are all professionals. Just my opinion.

okay, let me be more explicit - desisoapie on screen would be considered soft-po*n.

which Indian prime-time tv show would show all that ?

Yes Zee. That too. I forgot to mention it here. Yeah in Sonia's story, Paro uses her teeth to smoldering consequences that end in a very cold shower for Rudra :-)
