Chapter 6

"He is Virat, you will sail in his ship, he is the only person I can trust who will bring you to your father safely." Sid said as he done the introductions.

Astha still didn't like the idea of going with some company, but she can't blame Sid for worrying, so she said nothing on this matter. She looked at Virat and smiled, he was quite handsome with his brown hair, strong features and black eyes but still not as handsome as that handsome giant. Damn, now where that thought came from? Stop thinking about that bloody giant, Astha!

"It would be a pleasure to sail with you." Astha said.

"The pleasure is mine, Astha. But I may tell you that my crew is still fresh under my hold, so I can't trust them where woman is concerned, better you use that disguise of a young lad to avoid any risk." Virat suggested.

Astha grinned excitedly, and then replied "of course! I will just get my things."

After Astha went away, Virat spoke "never knew you had cousin this beautiful, Sid."

Sid narrowed his eyes and replied in unfriendly and protective tone "don't you ever think about her in that way, I will kill you before--"

Virat laughed and replied "I was just complimenting her! You forgot my heart belongs to someone else. I pity the man who will marry her, he will have hard time controlling his anger and keeping men away from her!"

Sid cooled down and grinned "the thing which concerns me is how he will control his anger while witnessing her devilish temper and free spirit! Her anger is something no one wants to witness; a man needs high tolerance and calmness where she's concerned."

"Don't worry, she will find a man who will love her and her flaws."

"I hope so!"

"You fools! Where do you think I will find another cabin boy?" Shlok shouted furiously.

Shlok was already frustrated since he didn't find her, got more angry because he don't have any time to look for her, he probably will never see her again. His mood was already spoiled, when he learned that his cabin boy ran off without notice and when the ship is sailing within few minutes, he went berserk.

"Captain, we were just playing with him, didn't knew he will run off!" one of his crew member replied defensively.

"Playing?! I heard you were frightening him! Now tell me where I will get another cabin boy with the ship sailing shortly!"

"Captain, we will find another cabin boy in no time, there will be a lad who will agree."

"Yes, captain. There are many lads roaming in the port, one of them will surely agree."

"I will come with you, can't trust you guys in this matter." Shlok said and went out of his ship and walked along the dock.

"Now listen to me very carefully, take care of yourself, and don't do anything in an impulse, don't do anything stupid I won't be there for you, listen to Virat, he knows best and most of all do control yourself when you're angry, don't just fight, am I making myself understand?" Sid said sternly.

"Yes boss!" she replied with a grin in her face.

Sid hugged Astha tightly while she did the same.

"I will miss you, Astha" he said softly.

"Me too." She replied.

He released his hold, and looked at her, debating with himself whether to say the thing or not.

"Astha, when you..i mean when you meet your father, I don't know how you will react, I wouldn't be there with you, though I wish I was, but just be strong and face your father."

Astha held his hand on her own and replied smilingly "Don't worry, I can handle myself."

"I never stopped worrying about you and never will, you are my only sister though cousin but still, I will be going now, take care of yourself!"Sid said and hugged her then left her on the dock.

Shlok looked around, hoping there would be a lad who can agree to be his cabin boy. But then everything froze in front of his eyes when his eyes fell on one young lad, the one whom he searched, and the one whom he wished to see again! It's her! He can't believe his fate, he looked for her everywhere and he found her when he is leaving within few minutes. He can't let her go this time, she escaped last time but he won't let it happen again. He have to do something, it is his last chance, he have to take it or leave it, leaving it is not his option. A small smirk came into his lips as an idea formed in his mind.

"Listen, you see that lad, the one wearing sweater and a grey wool cap." Shlok said while pointing at her.

"Aye captain." His crew member replied.

"I want him to be my cabin boy, even if he decline, I want him to be my cabin boy, I don't know how you'll do it but he is the one I want and make sure he doesn't know that I am the one who wants him to be my cabin boy. And make sure you don't hurt the lad. Now hurry!" Shlok ordered.

"Aye Captain!"

"This trip will be the best trip of my life" he said in his mind and smirked while looking at her.

"if you ain't the most prettiest lad I've ever seen my whole life"

Astha heard a deep masculine voice, she looked sideways only to find two scary looking men staring at her from head to toe.

The other man laughed and replied "that he is"

Astha started to back off while she looked from one man to another, fearing that they may discover her.

"Wait lad, we have a job to offer as a cabin boy to my captain" he said quickly.

"I'm sorry but I decline the offer." Astha replied still backing off.

She started to run but the man grabbed her arm quickly.

"Hold up, young lad! You ain't going anywhere else, we have less time, you'll be going with us! With or without your consent!" he said and dragged her with him.

"No! Release me this instant you fool!" She said angrily while struggling to get out of his iron grip.

She froze feeling the cold metal pressed against her back then she heard him growled "say another word young lad, this knife will run through your back! Cooperate or die!"

"the captain ain't hard to please, you'll be only serving him, you'll get used to the task given to you! You'll even thank me one day for this, for the sea life is adventurous and exciting!" the other man said smilingly.

They started forward then, each man holding onto her arm, the blade point pressed against her back. They took her into the ship which was preparing to leave, the crew didn't notice them getting inside as they were so busy in their task. They shoved her in the captain's cabin, leaving her alone in the cabin and locked it from outside.

Great update... My god poor astha...

Nice update...now few things cleared to me... Let me say,astha gonna meet her father... Shlok no way related to the flashback ...but u telling the story in such a way,that makes readers think that both shlok n astha father r one n the same... Actually am reading n rereading this ff to understand something,n each time I end up with diff outcome...Lol... I must say u r a fabulous writer to confuse me this much... Hope my comments won't make u forget the actual plot😆...tfd pm n update...

honey, the story is like this, astha is going to meet her father which is not shlok, he is another person who isn't revealed in the story yet..she will meet shlok during this trip..i hope i've cleared now 😊..thanks for the compliments😃
