No, that's because Salman became popular after JDJ, not before JDJ unlike Shakti. Channel will not allow him to participate as a contestant because he has been an established choreographer of the show already. His and Lauren's elevated status as challengers pretty much establish his popularity, and I don't think he will be back to the show to be a choreographer again. He came as a celebrity participant on KKK too.
Yes, Shakti should not have said that, but then Isha, too, said something like she didn't know much about dancing, so it's a basic trend.
Yes, bringing in people like Lauren or shakti is definitely unfair to the non-trained people. But what is more unfair is the show's format itself, that is, the decision to eliminate people based on their insane fanbase. That is worse than the trained-non trained dancer debate.
Edit- So, in every Colors interview videos, Shakti has been saying the same thing. That she is a well-trained dancer. So I would cut her some slack in the "little trained" issue. Yes, she should have phrased it better, but no point in worrying anyway. I would much rather see good dancing than average dancing by struggling dancers ( read Nach Baliye). Also, JDJ revolves around choreographers and not celebrity contestants. People who think celebrities are more important, think wrong.
