Chapter 4 : Knowing each other

As Anant saw Navya coming back from the trial room, struggling with that heavy lehenga- choli on her arms,he quickly went to her and placed his arms under hers so that the lehenga could not fall. They both had an eyelock. Navya broke the eye-contact soon and Anant took that lehenga-choli from her hands.

"Vo ye lehenga-choli kaafi heavy hain vaise tum ye pehenke manage toh karlogi na?"asks Anant with a cute, concerned face.

Navya smiled hearing him. "Haan Anant,main manage karlungi,abhi toh pehna tha, vaise"Navya looked around "ye Appy aur Rits kahi dikhai nahi de rahe,kaha gaye hai?"

"Haan ab vo dono chali gayi, tumlog ki kisi friend ki tabiyat kharab hain I guess isliye vo log jaldi nikal gaye"says Anant.

"Acha, par un dono ko jaane se pehle ek baar mujhe toh batana chahiye tha,ek minute main abhi call karti hoon" Navya called Rits but her phone was switch off followed by Appy whose phone was unreachable.

"Dono hi kamaal ke hai"says Navya with a frown "ek toh batake nahi jaati upar se phone bhi nahi lagta aur switch off hai,huh!"

"Ahh calm down Navya, tum changing room mein thi,isliye undono ne mujhe bataa dia tha"says Anant pacifying her.

Navya looked at him and nodded.

"Umm Navya ab aage ka kya plan hain?"asks Anant carrying a heavy packet containing her lehenga choli while going down in the lift.

"Matlab? Humara kaam toh ho gaya na toh bas abb ghar chalte hain"says Navya with an obvious tone.

Anant didn't want to go home so soon and especially when Navya is alone with him. He didn't know why but his heart wanted to spend some more time with her.

"Umm Navya" said Anant with an amused look as they reached the ground floor and came out of the lift"Tumhe bhook vook nahi lagti kya?"

"Bhook, haan lagti hain par kyun?" asks Navya confused thinking about what connection does it have with what she said before.

"Time dekho zara its 2:30,aur ye lunch time hota hain"says Anant with a smile.

"Haan toh?" Navya asked all the more confused.

"Toh mujhe toh lagi hain bhook isliye hum chalte hain vapis upar food court for lunch"says Anant as he held her hand and dragged her towards the lift ignoring her repeated denies.

"Okay toh chalo batao kya khana hai?" asks Anant looking all around like a little kid as they were standing at the mid of food-court.

Navya stood there looking at him with an unbelievable look and folding her arms.

Anant looks at her. "Kya? Maine kuch galat kiya kya?" asks Anant acting innocent.

"Tumhe kisine bataya hain kabhi ki tum kitni ziddi ho" says Navya as she tries to stop her smile.

"Nahi kisine bataya toh nahi but mujhe pata tha ki mere ander yeh hidden talent bachpan se hi tha and aaj finally vo tumahri vajah se kuch kaam aa raha hain,so thanks for that miss Navya!"Says Anant with a grin.

Navya opens her mouth but then both started laughing.

"Acha thike ab seriously bolo kya khana hain?"asks Anant softly as they settle down on one of the table-chairs.

Navya looked around while Anant thought and they both said "Noodles"together.

They both smile at this.

"Tumhe bhi noodles ache lagte hain?"Asks Anant.

"Haan,bohut" says Navya

"Me too"says Anant with a grin "Okey then main abhi order karke aata hoon"

He went there to order. Navya thought *kitna ajeeb haina ye sab,main uss insaan ke saath itna hass rahi hu,itna ghul mil gayi hoon jaise ki main usae kabse janti hoon,shayad maine Rits aur Appy ke baad kisi aur se itne khulke kabhi baat nahi ki hogi par uske saath pata nahi kyu bohut acha lag raha hain,asa lag raha ki meri shaadi uske bhai se nai balki...*Navya stopped herself from thinking further.She was shocked. "Ye main kya sochne lagi thi abhi,mujhe asa kuch nahi sochna chahiye"says Navya as she gulped water sadly trying to gulp the hard fact of her life.

Anant came back with 2 bowls. One with noodles and the other with veg Manchurian.

Navya again looked at bit disturbed. Anant seemed to have notice this.The sadness which surfaced her face a moment ago when they were shopping has retured back.The same thing is troubling her again

Anant kept the bowls along with two plates and flipped his hand infront of her to get her attention

"oye,kaha kho gai?"Asks Anant.

"Huh,na..nahi kahi nahi"says Navya with a forced smile.

Anant knew that something was bothering her but he didn't ask further to give her some space.

He distributed the noodles on the plates.

They both were having noodles silently.Anant was eating the Manchurian and then he looked at her.

"Arae tumne ye Manchurian try karna chahiye,its amazing"says Anant as he feeds her one Manchurian ball before Navya could react.Navya looked at him with her wide eyes and then gulped it looking down.

Anant realized what he did and started looking here and there awkwardly.

"Umm vo main..."Anant fumbled.

"Haan kaafi tasty hain"says Navya with a smile.

Anant smiled back relieved that she didn't mind his action.

They had their lunch.

It was 4:00 o' clock.

Anant and Navya were in car thinking about all the moments they shared together today.

Suddenly Navya remembered something.

"Arae Anant,tumne mujhe meri pics nahi dikhayi,mujhe vo maa ko bhi dikhani thi."says Navya.

"Arae haan ek kaam karta hoon,main tumhe abhi buetooth via bhej du?" Asks Anant

"Haan ye thik rahega"

They both activated their bluetooths but some error was showing on Navya'phone to connect with his phone.

"Ye toh connect hi nahi ho raha,ab?"Navya made a pout.

Anant looked at her pout face. *She looked so cute while making a pout.*Anant thought but diverting his thought he got an idea to send the pics.

"Navya,tum watsapp pe toh hogi na?"asks Anant.

"Haan hoon"says Navya.

"Okay then mai tumhe watsapp pe send kar deta hoon,so ma'am number please?"asks Anant in a flirtious way.

Navya looked at him surprised but then smiled.They exchanged nos.

"Ab dekho, pics mil gayi na!"says Anant.

"Haan thanks"says Navya

"Hey thanks mat bolo hum friends' hain thike"says Anant

Navya thought for a while and then reciprocated with a broad smile.

They reached back Navya's home. Navya came out with the packet and bends on the car window.

"Acha Anant,aunty ko please meri taraf se thanks bolna iss pyaare se thofe ke liye"says Navya.

"Haan vo toh main kehdunga,lekin" Anant smirks "iske liye mujhe kya milega,afterall ye lehenge maine choose kia tha tumahre liye?"

Navya's heart skipped a beat hearing this. She blushed unknowingly and feared about what he would ask for.

"Tumhe iske badle mei kya chahiye?"Asks Navya innocently.

Anant looked at her innocent beautiful face. He had never expected so much innocence from a girl.Sometimes she gets angry and then shys away; sometimes she looks like a kid while pouting while sometimes she smiles beautifully. He has started adoring her emotions by now.

"Mujhe na..mujhe na kal iske badle ek coffee treat chahiye, milegi?"Asks Anant with a smile.

"Lekin kal toh mera college hain" says Navya.

"Haan toh hum tumahri canteen mein coffee pe sakte hain kyu?"says Anant raising his brow up.

"Iska matlab tum kal mere college aoge"says Navya cheerfully while composed herself the next moment thinking about her happiness's reason.

"Haan, vo jab hum pehli baar tumahre college mein mile thae tab main tumahre principal,Mr Jain se milne aaya tha ek deal finalize karne so ab aage kaam bhi mujhe hi ko sambhalna padega isliye ab aapke college mera aana jana toh laga hi rahega"says Anant while smirking at the last line.

"ohh acha thike then chalo ab bye" says Navya.

"Bye"says Anant as he drove back home.

It was 11:00 o' clock.

Navya was sitting beside her windown and checking her gallery pics including her pics which Anant send her today. The thought of Anant clicking her pics made her blush again. She was really surprised at her sudden change in behavior,just then her eyes fell upon a pic,it was her and Anant's where he was making her wear the kangan.

*Ye pic kisne kheechi hogi,zarur Appy ya Rits mein se kisika kaam hoga,lekin isko rakhne ki zarurat kya hain,delete kar deti hoon*thought Navya and was going to press the delete button but stopped.

*Nahi,delete kyu karu vo mera dost pehle hain phir baaki ke rishte isliye rehne deti hoon* thought Navya as she tries to give a reason to her self and started admiring the pic.

*Maine bhai ko Navya ki pics saath baje approx. Watsapp ki thi, aur vo abhi online bhi hue thae phir unhone ne Navya ki pic kyu nahi dekhi?*thought Anant as he stood at his window.

*Shayad busy honge vaha isliye dhyaan nahi dia hoga magar* Anant says " itna bhi kya busy hona ki vo apni hone wali biwi ki pic bhi na dekhe,bhai ko Navya pasand toh hai na?" Mohan's disconcern made him worry.
