Influencer Dushyant Kukreja joins ‘The 50’

Popular digital creator Dushyant Kukreja, known for building a massive following across social media with his relatable and high-engagement content, has joined the contestant lineup of the upcoming reality show The 50. The globally successful format, owned by Banijay, is set to make its Indian debut on JioHotstar and Colors from 1st February, bringing together a diverse mix of celebrities and creators in a high-pressure, unscripted environment.

Dushyant has created a strong presence in the digital space, connecting with over 50 million subscribers, across platforms through short-form videos driven by humour, timing, and instant audience reactions. His move to The 50 marks a significant shift from curated content to a format where there is no editing, no retakes, and no control over how moments unfold.

Talking about what drew him to the show, Dushyant said, “From creating content for close to 50 million subscribers on YouTube to stepping into The 50 - I come from a space where reactions are instant and people scroll if you don’t hold their attention. The 50 is the opposite of that. You can’t edit yourself, you can’t reset a moment, and you definitely can’t hide. That’s what excited me. I’m curious to see who I become when I’m not performing for the screen, but simply living in the moment. Let’s see what happens when the content creator becomes the content.”
